They call me Willow, but I have no memories of my past.

Why has no one come forward to claim me?

I need to focus on the positives. I’ve been offered a job at Horesham House Recording Retreat, where world-famous musicians go to make music. But I don’t care about famous people. Regaining my memories is all I need. Lead singer of Chasing Forever, Jossen Reid, might just change my mind. He actually seems to care about me, and he’s more good looking than any man should be.

They say ignorance is bliss…
I wish someone had warned me that reclaiming my memories might just get me killed.

Joss

I’ve been hurt by love.

Our debut album may have been a worldwide smash, but this industry can be fickle. Without new songs, we’re nothing.

Getting involved with Willow is only going to complicate my life.

Somehow I just can’t seem to stay away…

I’m the only one who has a fighting chance of saving her from the past.

Turns out I might do just about anything to keep her from harm.
But, what if my everything isn’t enough?

love Lara Wynter's band books. This book is full of romance, drama and mystery. The only downfall for me is that the story is in two parts but I'm looking forward to Part Two. I would highly recommend it.

This is part 1 of a 2 part mystery/romance!

When I read the summary of the book, I didn’t quite know if this would be a book that I enjoyed (because I usually stick with romantic comedies) but I’m so glad I gave it a chance.

Willow wakes up in the hospital, with no memory of who she is and how she got there. She gets discharged and starts working at Horsham House (a place where bands go to recenter themselves and help them focus on their music). Here she meets Joss, and they develop a friendship while trying to help Willow uncover her memories.

I love the creativity in this story and did not see certain plot-twists coming. While this story was suspenseful and intriguing, it also made the romantic in me happy to see these characters develop individually and watch as these characters fell for the other... That is until, Willow’s past catches up to them and this book ends on a major cliff-hanger. Highly recommend for an original, interesting read (that I stayed up way too late finishing) and appreciate the author for providing me with this copy.

In the clean romance novel Chasing Forever by Lara Wynter, Willow, the main character, has lost her memory after an accident. But why is no one looking for her? The sinister reasons trickle into Willow’s consciousness as she begins to regain her memory. The tension mounts as her past unfolds.
Joss, a famous pop star, is staying at the mansion Willow has been sent to after discharge from the hospital. Willow’s and Joss’s chemistry sizzles, but their plans spiral out of control. Tragedy strikes in the most unlikely setting and in a nail-biting climax.
The two main protagonists are relatable and the novel is an enjoyable read. I’m looking forward to Book 2 of the series.

I found this story much more intriguing than I expected. I was hooked and didn't want to put it down. I didn't love the ending, though. Even with the warning of a "minor cliffhanger," I wasn't happy to be left waiting the way I was. And I worry I'm not going to enjoy book 2 as much because of the way book 1 was left. But I guess we'll see. I am looking forward to reading book 2. I just hope it's not as dark as I fear.

This was an excellent start to this series, and I wish that I had part 2 to plot down and read right now. It was so easy to get sucked into the plot, especially with the mystery of Willow’s past. She definitely steals the show in my opinion, but I think that I won’t stop guessing until I finish the next part. Her past and character is such a intriguing mystery

This is the 3rd book I've read written by Lara Wynter; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I can’t wait to read more of her books.

The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

Exciting

This is a sweet, clean romance with a hint of psychological suspense as Willow tries to regain her post memory with the help of rock star Joss. Pieces of her memory gradually surface only for things to take a drastic unexpected turn.

Excitement and suspense

This is a fast paced and exciting book. I was fully invested I the characters and the story. It would have been a five star except that it’s a cliffhanger. If I’d known that in the beginning I perhaps would not have started it.

Loved it from the very start! Willow seems so sweet but can't remember anything. Then she meets Joss. I really liked how her memory came back just a little at a time and triggered in a strange way. It was exciting, fast paced and romantic! I am ready for the next book!

Repetitive internal dialog

This ends in a cliffhanger. Love at first sight, amnesia, bad guys, I'm not good enough, can I trust anyone? That is the story line, it was tedious reading repetitive internal dialog.
