This series is just too good!!!!

That artstyle is just mind-blowing!

And the characters are so intense!

Whoa!

It's like I am watching an action movie in real... It's so good!

Lots of crime going on here and there but then there are these two serious guys trying to save the world.

Basically that's it

I love this. The love story is subtle, but it's indicated that there's something going on, and the case they're investigating is just brutal. The story is very complexed, and very well written, and the art is absolutely gorgeous.

Updated review: so far I still enjoy reading this. Captain Bu is still a mystery to me but he's truly my favourite in the series. What a man - excuse my simping.

6/13/22: BU, YOU LET MY WU EAT SPICY STRIPS!!
Finally picked it up again after a year break! The manhua is nice, however, I was too eager so, once I caught up to the latest chapter, I decided to read the novel. FYI y'all the novel has 168 chapters and the manhua has only covered less than 25% of the novel. You will be waiting many years for it to finish so, I highly suggest reading the novel lol. (I guess this review is mainly for the novel then lol)
OMG Bu Chonghua and Wu Yu are the cutest and super funny. I really love their banter and the dynamic of their relationship! So sweet. Tbh, I wasn't too invested in the crime/mystery, (there was nothing wrong with it, I just wasn't too interested in it) The part that did make me super curious was who is the person that Wu Yu is speaking to in his flashbacks in manhua. First I thought it was Bu Chonghua but, it didn't seem logical with the timeline of events. At one point, the thought did cross my mind that it looks like Wu Yu has a twin or maybe he is talking to himself or idk. Boy, I was not expecting Wu Yu to be Agui. But, I absolutely loved that plot twist. I loved Bu Chonghua's total faith in Wu Yu. And I'm glad Wu Yu had Jie Xing with him for as long as he did. Wish they could've lived in the poppy fields together *sobs*

Me gusta el desarrollo de los personajes, cómo todo el tiempo están en constante movimiento para resolver el caso, también me gusta que el caso no sea tan predecible, normalmente soy buena descubriendo al culpable pero en esta ocasión saben darme giros a la trama para que no lo logre, y eso me atrapa bastante.

En cuanto a los personajes el acercamiento de los protagonistas se siente tan natural que para cuando ambos comienzan a tener este fuerte vínculo, sea irrevocable, se conocen, se buscan, se apoyan y al final piensan en el otro como su lugar seguro.

Sin embargo creo que en ocasiones me atiborraba mucho de información y eran partes que se me hacían muy lentas, me costaba un poco seguir cuando llegaban esos tramos.
Pero en general para este primer volumen es bueno y lo recomiendo mucho.

huaishang eres una genia, te amo, amo a Bu Chonghua y Wu Yu, me encariñé mucho con ellos, y disfruté mucho los cameos de Yan Xie y Jiang Ting, y claro, boss Qin Chuan.

tanto como Bu Chonghua y Wu Yu tuvieron sus secretos, dieron un vuelco a toda la situación, y poco a poco se ve que nada fue por las puras y todo tiene una explicación.

los extras fueron la comida de perro que me lanzaste con lastima, pq sí sufrí mucho en todo el proceso, no tanto como po yun 1, pero tunhai es igual de increíble y triste.

The case is interesting but the plot is less smooth.

MC & ML is interesting even though there are some traits that are less detailed.

The ending was not a real ending. It basically ends on a cliffhanger. I hope it will be continued at some point.
