With the holiday season fast approaching, Leo, a sweet and somewhat innocent omega is too wrapped up with his family print business and article deadlines to enjoy himself, especially since he’s just discovered his boyfriend cheating on him at the party he was meant to attend.
Leo loses all hope that he’ll ever be able to find his fated mate, his true alpha husband, and to have a baby. Little does Leo know that this holiday season will be one to remember for all those reasons!
Upset for being cheated on for being a good omega boyfriend, Leo lets his hormones get the better of him and makes out with a sexy alpha stranger in the dark elevator of a hotel, only to run away like Cinderella before his prince can learn more about him. Putting it down to a drunken mistake, Leo vows to put the sexy incident behind him and never to repeat it.
Lucas Hiddleston is an alpha that always gets what he wants. Especially omegas — he loves to dominate them and show them who’s the boss, before moving onto the next omega. However, he didn’t plan on wanting the uptight omega he’s trapped in the elevator with… until he kisses him.
Imagine Lucas’ shock when he later finds out the same omega is the son of the man whose business he’s just acquired. Not only that, but he has to work alongside him, and realizes the want and desire for the omega intensifies every time he’s close enough to smell his sweet scent.
But it’s not all sunshine and rainbows initially—too afraid to be honest with their true feelings, they fight like cats and dogs, arguing and disagreeing on almost every business decision, which only helps turn up the heat factor for both of them. Can they go from enemies to lovers?
Lucas’s alpha nature demands that he has the omega all for himself, but Leo’s the forbidden fruit because workplace relationships between bosses and employees are against company policy. Not only that, but Lucas has spent too much time and energy building his business empire, to just blow it all on an office fling and the risk getting an omega pregnant! But rules are made be broken. Eventually, one thing leads to another and now Leo’s pregnant with Lucas’ baby.
How can Leo break the news of his pregnancy to Lucas when he knows he has to keep their affair a secret? Should he even tell Lucas, because if doesn’t want commitment, he probably won’t want to be a dad, either.
Will they be find a way to be honest about how they feel for one another? Will Leo ever tell Lucas the truth about his pregnancy and who the father is?Will Lucas be able to overcome his commitment issues due to his family history? And most importantly, will Leo and Lucas get what they’ve always too afraid to even dream of — to have a family of their own?

Nothing irritates me more than to read a book that has spelling and grammar errors through the entire book. If the author had read the book after finished they should have corrected most them. There were so many and obvious!
I loved this book until they actually had sex. After that it just got silly. The plot became ridiculous and both Lucas and Leo seemed to change personalities. They just weren’t the same people. The book went from being Four stars to two so I compromised and gave it three.
Not my favorite alpha/omega story. The relationship did not really feel solid to me. Also, there were many typos/editing issues making it slightly hard to read.
Leo is the omega son of a magazine mogul. Walter his father knows the business is failing and sells the business to Lucas,an alpha and his partner to salvage and make profitable again. First meeting in an elevator and making out, they find that they work together and become working associates and trying to avoid each other. Having just broken up with a cheating alpha, Leo is not eager to repeat the experience. But life happens and neither man can deny their mutual attraction and finally start to fall for each other. Lust then love follow these two as they struggle to try and keep and even keel with each other while working in such close quarters. Hot sex, arguments, challenges, Mpreg, A/O relationships in an omegaverse world brings the reader to a hot sexy read. Well written and would recommend to this book to anyone who loves Mpreg reads.
Almost Even though you spent your entire adult life working helping your Dad with a publishing company that you one day believe you'd inherit, since bookkeeping isn't your area what a shock it is to learn that the family company has been bought out right from underneath you. For now you can stay but there will be lots of change. You can get with the new program or get out.
For a smart strong-willed Omega a challenge gauntlet has been thrown down. How dare this Alpha think he knows more about the business than the Omega and his father who was the founder? The Omega's excellent rapport with the staff helps make the transition a lot smoother than the new Alpha Boss believed possible. But he didn't appreciate being challenged until the wisdom of the Omega's belief was revealed.
There is a simmering passion between the Alpha and Omega. As much as they - the Omega especially, fights it, it just intensifies. They both foolishly try to make the other jealous, but such stunts have a habit of backfiring. All the teasing and taunting between the two seems to be foreplay. What finally happens is inevitable. The resulting fireworks is not.
After crushing him with cruel harsh words does this Alpha stand a chance of winning back the best thing that ever happened in his life? Bonnar King is the new to me. It's the first time I've read this author. I can certainly say it won't be the last time.
I have very mixed reviews about these books. I started liking the book but then the grammar mistakes were driving me crazy [some parts were repeated one paragraph after the other one]. Also, there was part of the plot I felt incomplete. Leo was all over the place with his feelings, the sex was rushed, the ending felt rushed - very unsatisfied with this read. And I'm all for cliche office romance [or any kind of cliche really] but nothing to enjoy here [plus, I won't mention the terrible term used for a certain part of Leo's body...]
Oh this was lovely. Cute and quick, with a nice, steamy romance PLUS all the tropes: office romance with a dash of forbidden, a touch of "I hate you but I can't resist you", alpha/omega deliciousness featuring a playboy alpha and a seriously bossy omega (and a surprise pregnancy!), and all the usual possessiveness and misunderstandings and drama you'd expect. The writing wasn't my cup of tea, the language was a bit too cringy a times for my tastes, but the story was really addicting and I managed to devour this novel in one sitting.
Good story line. I liked Leo's strength and self assurance. He doesn't take anyone's crap, especially from Lucas. These two spar constantly but they find that they've grown to respect and like one another. There's a bit of back and forth as Lucas struggles to change from playboy to committed alpha. There are lots of editing issues and I think the author would benefit from a good beta team and editor. It would garner higher ratings. Adult read
This book was ok, but I felt like the story jumped too much and didn’t flow smoothly.
Also it seemed that the author didn’t reread before getting published as a few errors where the name ‘Kelly’ has. One from and then used ‘her’ instead of him. Things like this are easy errors to pick up on yet spoil the book for me.
I have the series but not sure if I want to finish it, will see how book 2 pans out.
I counted 73 mistakes in spelling, grammar or word usage. Of course there are likely some I missed. It was very distracting. There were other errors as well. Also the story dragged a little and didn't quite match the description. Except for the errors it wasn't bad but it wasn't great either.
It could have been 5 with a little more editing! This story was sweet and swoony and the character development was done really well, but the grammar was sometimes distracting to the story. I really loved getting to watch Lucas and Leo find themselves with each other and separately, too. Cute story!
Full of errors like repeating full paragraphs, a random sentence from obviously another book, just isn't the authors best work and seriously needs another read through to edit it. The story itself is a bit tired and the random paragraphs with fancy capital letters were obnoxious to read. Reads like the authors first ever book and I think it might be- if it's not, that's sad.
The story could have been very good but it needs a lot of editing. Just when you get interested there is a major error and it throws the reader off which is too bad!
The story was cute and the characters were likable. My biggest problem with it was the editing. There were so many grammatical and usage mistakes that they distracted me from the story line.
A nice read, Leo and Lucas are cute together with the bickering and got moments. I really wanted the story to continue, to give the after the baby world, but still worth the read.
I liked the idea for the story, but unfortunately the writing has a lot of errors which was really irritating. For example is some sentences being repeated, and Leo referred to as her and described as a woman several times throughout the story.
Boy oh boy does Donner King know how to weave a love story!!! You will get pulled into the story immediately and there love story is for the ages!!!! The seduction is off the charts as is the sex!!!!! Thank you - Lori
