Chris is bringing his partner Cole to his parents' home for Christmas. His parents have managed to transcend their moral objections to his being gay, but Chris can't ignore a pervasive undercurrent in the house, and it's possible that Cole's race is a contributing factor. A magnificent magical party train arrives unannounced to take them on an illuminating trip to receive the Pole Express's unconventional method of administering Covid-19 vaccines, meet Satin Claws, and discover the true meaning of family.

As per the usual, with Whit Slorp, I have no idea what I just read. It was like a homosexual reimagining of the Polar Express mixed in with Soul Train. Had a lot of funny, even if not intended to be, moments and a great deal of plot points introduced, which had potential, but everything just whizzed along too fast. Chris and Cole, our leads, also felt lost in the shuffle. And the ending just fell completely flat. Again, I think if the author really let this organically flow and develop all of its better ideas, this could have been much more enjoyable. Still not bad, but just lots of missed opportunities. Also, not sure why, but the use of the term 'ass cheeks' had me laughing more than it should have.
