Chillpimples: Abrahannibal Lectern

Rate this book
He might be a psychopath, but he's not a monster. In Hannibal Lectern's alternate reality, due to the assassination of Lincoln before he could take office, slavery was never abolished in America. Civil unrest has reached cataclysmic proportions. Hannibal, a perfectly calm and dispassionate candidate for the mission, traverses back through spacetime, intercepting Lincoln's would-be killers. Indebted to Hannibal, Lincoln shows him the most intimate corners of his life, accessing a humanity that Hannibal didn't know he possessed. Together they transcend space, time, and death to rewrite history and care for their fellow man-- even when your fellow man is a serial cannibal.

This was such a bizarre story. Very homoerotic, for sure. And I’m using the word ‘very’ meaning there was a lot of it. So we travel through time and space as Hannibal Lectern attempts to stop Lincoln from being assassinated. And set the world into a new path. A right one or a wrong one? You be the judge. It’s a very disorienting story, but has one helluva premise. Who am I kidding though…you’ll read this just because I highlighted the gay sex, and you know it. Perverts!

This was so bad that it was good. The cover had me sold from the moment I saw it and I had to know what the hell this was for myself😂

We all know Abraham Lincoln. The 16th president of the United States who met his demise from the infamous John Booth. In this reimagining we follow Dr. Hannibal Lectern. He is a time traveler who has transported back to the assassination of Mr. Lincoln in hopes to save him. Things go very differently than the Dr had planned but he does get vengeance for his lover. Yes Abe and Dr Lectern had a secret relationship and Abe’s wife was very aware. This book held my interest from the moment I started it, simple due to how unhinged and wildly imaginative this was 😅

I live for shit like this so I find myself in the nicer rating category due to my personal tastes. Give this a read and come back and hate me for it later 😁🫶

Basically, Hannibal Lecter travels back in time to try and save Abe Lincoln from getting assassinated, featuring a bunch of gay sex and some mild cannibalism. That is all you need to know.

It was an enjoyable, fast faced, and quite sad at times. If you're looking for a bizarre, chaotic, smutty read, definitely check this one out. I'll be diving into some of Slorp's other stories to see how whacky they are!

Whelp. Wasn't expecting that, lol. To be honest I'm not sure what I was expecting, but Hannibal Lecter time travelling to save Abe Lincoln's life (& ruining his bedsheets 🍆) was not what I was expecting. An absolutely wild story for such exceptional vocabulary usage.

I like Whit Slorp’s work, but this story was incredibly disorienting. Hannibal lecture travels through time to save Abe Lincoln’s life. There’s lots of sex and cannibalism.

weird af

This was weird af but totally fun and engaging. I never would have thought to put Abraham Lincoln and Hannibal Lecter together, but here we are. I dig it.
