Inspiring!

I'm not a religious person at all, and at first, I thought this was all this book was going to be about, but it's not. Personally, I think Rebecca is a very strong, courageous woman for putting her story out there and for sharing it, and hopefully helping other people that are or have been in the same position as her.
I have never had an eating disorder, but I know a few people that do, and I will recommend this book to them. I also will be using some of the devotions in my own daily life that I found inspiring. I loved the quotations before each day too. Well done.

Honest, empathic and positive, 100 Days to Self-Love addresses a widespread phenomena: the feeling that one’s body is never, ever, good enough. The author provides insight both into the emotional drain of continually seeking the “perfect body” and the anguish suffered when an eating disorder accompanies a distorted body image. Intelligently written, with spot-on inspirational quotes for each day, it soothes and gently guides the reader to embrace the body you have right now. Importantly, the book encourages the reader to seek professional support, if needed, on the journey to health. Hopeful and energizing.

Seeing that this book was a devotional, I had hoped to read more about how God worked in the author's life. Though she did use a few scriptures it felt more like worldly advice i.e therapist rather than from the Bible. Overall, it was a great book giving advice and tips on how to value yourself more and believing in yourself. Not to be hard on ourselves but to relax and not take life too seriously. It was a very inspirational and encouraging message for those dealing with an eating disorder. I would definitely recommend the book with those concerns!

It is important to love yourself. In this book, you learn to accept your weaknesses as well as your strengths. Express yourself. Don’t believe everything you hear. Forgive yourself and give yourself a break. Be your own cheerleader. Such simple things that go a long way. It gives a step-by-step guide and gives great examples. Easy to read and easy to follow.

An inspirational and motivational book!

This book taught me how to give self love to myself. I would recommend it to those who are battling any mental disability well I would recommend to anyone searching for an understanding of self love and how to incorporate self love into their life. My only issue was there was a lot of white space. A section to reflect on that's day's lesson could easily be added, but other than that this was an insightful book.

This is a great book about self-love and acceptance. It helped set me on the path towards accepting myself for who I am. The authors spoke about god without being too preachy. I loved her ability to speak honestly about her experiences.
