No matter how insistent these women are or how lonely I feels, Magnolia isn't my home. And it never will be.

At this point (book 6) I wish the series was just one massive book instead of how each ends- not quite a cliff hanger, but definitely not all wrapped up either. Is what it is and I like them enough to keep going just odd.

I'm torn about this book. I enjoyed it, but I felt it ended way too soon on both stories. I enjoyed getting to know Penny better. I'm so glad she's mending her relationship with Maggie and getting a new start. Her relationship with Spencer is sweet, but I feel it was just starting and I really wanted more. Naomi was an interesting new character. I'm anxious to read the rest of her story and hopefully she can find herself.

Review: I really enjoyed this book. This book follows Penny and Naomi. Penny’s story continues and she is the new owner of the Magnolia Daily newspaper. When her rental flood she finds a place and rents from the towns quiet mechanic. Love is not on her mind or is it. Naomi moves to Magnolia and lives with her brother Jackson. She is here because her life got turned upside down. I loved the writing. I loved the character development throughout the book. I love the female friendship on this book. We are left on a. cliff hanger as to how Naomi’s story is going to end. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series.

This is the sixth book of the red stiletto series. The books are standalones, but interwoven and should be read in order.
I really like the stories. But at times they are dragging on with the same thoughts over and over without anything relevant happening. And the insecurities are a bit dramatic.
Nonetheless I'm invested in the series and will continue.

We get another story on Penny, Maggie's mom. This time she's moved back to Magnolia, bought the Magnolia Daily, and now lives with Spencer the hardware's recluse. There is something about Spencer that Penny is attracted to. As long as she fights the attraction everything will be fine, until she gets Spencer to open up. The writer in her needs to help him and find him closure. Will it help?
Naomi is Jackson's sister. After being with Walker for years, a unexpected phone call has her questioning everything. She in search to find her fiance for answers when she's in a bad accident leaving her alone and at the hand of Jackson in Magnolia.
Little by little that small island is starting to change her until Walker comes back
Jackson and Colton his best friend and her crush from years ago aren't to happy.
With a secret she's not willing to disclose, she finds herself amongst the Red Stiletto book club women more and more. Now that Walker is back and ready to take her home, she's leaving everything and everyone who cares about her behind. Will get life ever be the same?

These books get better and better! Penny is now living in magnolia not at the inn. She’s started work at the paper and started to make her foothold strong within her old childhood town. However, her basement apartment floods and she doesn’t want to impose on her daughter any more. Luckily a member of the red stiletto club knows of someone with a room for rent. It isn’t until she’s face to face with that she realizes it’s the grouch of a man Spencer! Their tenant, landlord relationship starts of a big rocky but, buckle up buttercup it gets bumpy!

Naomi is another matter. This girl.. you can’t help but grow to love her and realize how many ppl she real may be in your life big at the same time your screaming or shaking your head at her for ignoring so many red flags!!!

This book basically leaves your hanging with Naomi and what on earth she has agreed to so you’d better have the next book ready to keep on going to see if this girl comes to her senses or not!

DNF. Wanted to like it but honestly Naomi was too whiny and indecisive. And for Peggy to be so strong and independent but be obsessed with the hermit of the town is a bit too cliche and insulting to her intelligence. I bought the bundle but I don't think I can finish it especially since it's focusing on these characters and they're the least likeable in my opinion. Also the writing gets a bit repetitive and if I see "floppy" referred to another male character's hair I will scream. I'm done.

I found this book to be quite boring. Naomi constantly whined throughout, caught up in her insecurities. Her obsession with her “baby daddy” was exhausting—he didn’t even know she was pregnant! He vanished for almost two months without a word, leaving her in worry and limbo. And when he finally called, she acted like nothing had happened and was eager for him to swoop in and rescue her. Honestly, her behavior made me want to yell at her!

On the other hand, there was Penny, who I really connected with. She brought out the best in the town's resident hermit crab, encouraging him to come out of his shell. I loved how she repaired her relationship with her daughter, Maggie, all while fighting to revive the local newspaper. Her determination and growth were a refreshing contrast to Naomi’s constant drama!

Cozy, heartfelt & endearing...

This story wraps you up in small-town charm and gentle romance from the very first page. What stood out most was how deeply rooted the characters’ journeys are in community, friendship, and the slow rebuilding of trust and hope. There is a wonderful mix of light-hearted moments and real emotional growth that makes every scene feel warm and meaningful.

It is the kind of book that feels like a hug for your heart. Familiar, comforting, and beautifully human. The pacing lets the feelings breathe, and you genuinely root for every character as they navigate both old wounds and fresh beginnings.

I’ve really enjoyed reading the Red Stiletto Book Club series! Each book is cute, heartwarming, and easy to dive into. While the plots are definitely predictable, they still deliver a cozy, feel-good vibe that makes them a fun and comforting read. There’s no spice to speak of, but the sweetness and charm more than make up for it.

If you’re someone who enjoys stories about friendship, romance, and happy endings, this series is a great pick—definitely gave me Hallmark movie energy (in the best way). Perfect for when you’re not sure what to read next or you want something light that won’t completely pull you under. A great in-between-books kind of series.

Loved Magnolia Move-In. Penny, who is Maggie's mother moves to Magnolia to take over the newspaper and build her relationship with Maggie. Naomi, Jackson's sister comes and stays with him to recuperate after an accident. It was exciting and heart-warming to watch how both of these women change from how they arrived in Magnolia to the end. I am excited that Anne-Marie devoted the next book to these two women so that readers can see if their change grew and if they find true happiness or if they slip back and happiness slips away from them. Can't wait to start Magnolia Adventure.

Well. Naomi is annoying. I’m proud of her for not falling in love with the first man she saw; however, I would have liked Colton over Walker ANY DAY. Why is it such a secret that she’s knocked up?

Penny and Spencer. They’re in love after living together for like 6 days. Of course, that’s in true Magnolia fashion.

3.5 ⭐️ - I love this book series. The town and all the characters are so memorable, quirky, and so much fun. This book felt a little too rushed at the end. It’s the first time one of the main characters stories ended on a such a cliff hanger in the series so far. I can’t wait to read the next book.

Of all of the stories in this series, this one has been the least interesting. Even the mystery surrounding Spencer was bland to me. Each book has felt less and less interesting to me, and more like a short story instead of a complete book. I do like quick reads and nice clean romances but each story has felt rushed.

This was a good book! I'm glad we finally got to learn more about Spencer, I've been wondering about him for awhile. Penny was just what he needed to come out of his shell. I'm happy she was able to find love again. And Naomi's introduction was nice. I felt for her and her situation. I'm hoping all works out in the end!

Loved Niomi's story and cant wait to find out more. The story line with Penny and Spencer was a little odd since he was so cold and standoff ish in the beginning and by the end they were kissing and he was inviting her to help him reconnect with his two daughters that he has not contacted since the passing of his late wife.

If you’re looking for a book where the characters need a swift kick.. here it is!

We have to love seeing Maggie’s mom Penny moving to the island and changing her life for the better. Will she find love? Will she be everything she hopes she can be?

Naomi makes us question ALOT! Is she making the right choices? Will she be back? What will happen with her future.

Just a fun read. You can enjoy the characters and feel as if you know them. I never want the book to end. Wanting more is a good thing. Keep these books coming. I think I would be disappointed if you were to say there will be no more.

This book was actually a cute listen. I enjoyed this book a lot. Now I have to find the whole series to listen to now. It wasn’t raunchy at all. And I’m glad because I love raunchy but then there’s times when I don’t want to listen to the raunchy.

Boring. I could barely finish… I had to push through. I think I’m just not in the “sweet” mind set for this tame of a book. It’s more drama than romance and I’m not into it.
