Building a Pack is a gay supernatural erotica in four parts that follows Isaac’s journey into the world of werewolves. Of course, you have to read the parts in their sequence to understand the story.

The Bite:
This is the first installment of the series, and here, Isaac is totally devastated after losing his boyfriend of four years. Kevin has left Isaac for a woman. When a stranger (Gabriel) shows up at his doorstep, he makes Isaac an offer that is hard to reject.

The Bite sets out the atmosphere for the series. There is an excellent amount of eroticism in this installment right from the first page, and that doesn’t mean explicit sex. All the action happens, though, between Isaac and Gabriel. The story ends with Isaac receiving the bite from Gabriel to be converted into a werewolf.

Rescue:
After being turned into a werewolf, Isaac experiences powers he never had before. It is time to rescue his boyfriend from the brainwashing that he went through.

The tone gets a bit darker in this installment. As Kevin comes into the picture, there is more character development, and the dynamic between him and the other two men gives the story more scope.

Punishment:
Kevin suffers from extreme guilt for what he made his boyfriend go through, so he demands that he should be punished for all the pain he has caused.

It looks like with each installment, Ethan White decided to make the tone darker. This installment mixes between eroticism, BDSM, and intense emotional feelings. In this installment, there will be more talk about alpha and omega roles.

Redemption:
This is the final part of the series in which an ex-gay priest enters the picture, and he is the one who has been turning gay men into straight ones! Gabriel, Isaac, and his boyfriend will work together for a payback time.

If you enjoy a queer erotic story with supernatural elements and intense erotic and emotional bonds, then this is for you. Ethan White has done a great job of balancing all the elements. The story gets darker from one installment to another, but it retains all the incredible erotic aspects. This is very entertaining, especially if you enjoy reading about werewolves.
