Instagram Evolution: The Ultimate Guide to Grow Your Brand from Zero to Hero by Michael Kouiroukidis has been gifted to me by the author in exchange for an honest review. The book is a step-by-step guide that offers numerous helpful advices about how to become a successful content creator on Instagram. While acknowledging that growing and becoming successful on a social media platform where there are many talented people (and bots as well), the book offers at first an insight into how the algorithm functions and what steps need to be taken into consideration if one wants to reach a winder and a more engaging audience. The author compares the complex process of growing with the launch of a spacecraft into outer space, the reason why he does so will become clear to anyone reading the book.

Structured around different strategies, Instagram Evolution: The Ultimate Guide to Grow Your Brand from Zero to Hero starts by unpacking the fundamental notions one needs to know to correctly use the social networking platform. Further on, for someone who has been on Instagram for quite a while now and for someone who has been looking for useful, fact-based growth tips, I found the book to be a must read. Although it’s easy nowadays to browse the internet for tips, you can hardly find useful tips that prove to work, which is exactly what this book offers: tips that work. While reading the book I tried one of the strategies offered by the author in order to gain more followers on my bookstagram account and, in about 2 hours after implementing the strategy, I jumped from 960 followers to 997 followers. Besides the help it offers, it also provides information about how certain actions taken by users can harm their accounts, how to engage with other content creators and how to be patient when things don’t seem to go the way you want them to.

I feel the book is a must read to anyone looking for methods to grow their Instagram account and reach a winder and healthier audience. Although I found it helpful, I couldn’t rate it with five stars because it was too short and, at points, it gave the feeling that the author was a bit hurried when writing it and assumed certain notions don’t need explaining. However, I can’t not recommend it to anyone who invests so much time and energy into their accounts but tend to fail or not see the results they want to.

Easy read

There were lots of helpful hints in here that would point anyone in the right direction and while reading this book I did gain approx. 20 new followers in IG. I’ve come to realize that gaining followers on IG is a science and a process and it takes time. There is not one method listed in this book that will give you immediate results.

I will start off by saying if you are looking for a quick way to gain followers well this is the book for you simply because to gain followers you much put in the work now with that being said there is great information in this book and if you put in the work yep you will gain new followers on IG it is a process and as we all know that takes a little work on your part.
