Fairly typical paperback horror anthology, most stories are frequently reprinted and thus probably familiar to most people reading this sort of book (Tarnhelm, The Thing On The Doorstep, etc.); but there are a few more interesting pieces, notably The Father-Thing (which I have previously read, but it's still a less common story than most of the others), The Seed From The Sepulchre (which I might have read before but I can't remember off hand, I know that I read a collection of Smith's work a while back, but a lot of it blurs together in my memory; still an interesting story), and Dearth's Farm, by the only author here who I have never heard of. Worth picking up if you find it at a used book store and haven't read any of those three stories, but not something I'd actively search for.
