Progressive synthetic phonics early readers supported by evidence based dyslexia groups. I'm really glad that I did the extra research and scaffolded the launchers in with the readers. The launchers are useful for teaching new words and sounds but only have 1 sentence per page which makes them more approachable and helps with anxiety.

Miss 6 likes how the series is consistent in it's world building and getting to see the characters we've met before (like Viv) having new experiences and wearing different clothes.

Miss 6 and I like to explore different books and authors at the library, sometimes around particular topics or themes. We try to get different ones out every week or so; it's fun for both of us to have the variety and to look at a mix of new & favourite authors.
