A Special Relationship: Trump, Epstein, And the Secret History of the Anglo-American Establishment

Rate this book
In July of 2019, elite financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein was arrested again—this time for good. A month later he was found dead in his cell, taking his secrets with him. The 35 day period from arrest to untimely death was an eclipse whose dim light illuminated one of the darkest and longest simmering scandals in history. Epstein's international sex trafficking ring implicated some of the most powerful individuals in the world: from the trend-setters of high fashion to elite science to Hollywood, and even two US presidents: Bill Clinton and Donald J. Trump. The wake of the eclipse, whose capstone was Epstein's final disappearing act, set researchers worldwide scrambling for answers. How did Epstein's ring come into being, where did it come from, and more importantly, what was its objective? A Special Relationship is the first volume in a trilogy that will trace the history of Epstein's ring and its animating force ‒namely, the fabled Anglo-American Establishment that forever haunts the fever dreams of the American Conspiritainment Complex. Book 1 chronicles both the myths and realities of this most special of relationships, with a special emphasis on the Profumo Affair. This a six-decades-old British scandal is intimately linked to both Epstein's ring and the enigmatic assassination of JFK. The game of thrones is real and here you will learn how it is played at the highest circles of power.

Transatlantic Carl Oglesby? Quite a different theory of elite conflict. This first installment in a series focuses on a genealogy of actors, primarily leading up and through the Profumo affair, starting in the early 20th century. The bulk of this first installment deals with stuff from the formation of the World Commerce Corporation (WCC) [a private attempt to reestablish international trade after WWII?] to the growth of political power of Monday Club Tories.

There is so much information that needed to be conveyed in this book, and unfortunately the author didn’t do a great job of making it interesting or even understandable. It finally all came together in the last 20-30 pages, but the first 400 pages read like nonsense. I feel like reading the rest of the trilogy would help me understand everything better, but Book 1 came out in 2020 and there’s been nothing in the intervening five years so like what the heck.

Aside from the spelling and grammatical errors, the book has a lot of information that I wasn’t aware of. I finished it wanting to know more. Being that it’s been a couple of years since this book has been published, I wonder if book II will ever be released. I guess I will just have to keep waiting.

Lies, sex, suspense, and intrigue - in this book, the author digs up all the bodies I have never been more shocked or more interested in the history of the elite in the US and UK.
