Five Weeks and A Lifetime Later: A non-fiction Covid-19 novella

Rate this book
Many that have survived Covid-19 have experienced epiphanies of sorts, perhaps even feeling that they've been graced a "do over." "Five Weeks and a Lifetime Later" captures - with occasional irreverence - the experiences of an early Covid-19 victim in the context of major life-changes that were already underway when the plague struck, but that were accelerated after surviving near-death. There is an entertaining yet disturbing review of multiple Covid coma-inspired hallucinations, as well as some discussion of lingering post-Covid symptoms and conditions, and, finally, more than a smidgeon of robust Covid-related political commentary, albeit with a decided bias.
