The fifth book in the Scottish Billionaires series, Dangers of Love is the conclusion of Eoin and Aline's story. This well written, action-packed romance story is filled with secrets, heartbreak, misunderstandings, family issues, drama, love, and a happily ever after.

I volunteered to review an advance reader copy of this book.

The situation with Aline and her family has reached a breaking point as she has grown weary of their stifling ways as she realizes they don’t have to like her decisions but they do have to accept them. She has now left and with the help of a friend is determined to create the life that she wants.

Eoin is concerned once he finds out that Aline has left and even if her family doesn’t want him anywhere near her he realizes that is the only place he wants to be. His search was successful and they are ready to face a future together but life has a few curveballs to throw their way first.

Aline and Eoin belong together and the challenges they have faced have only made them appreciate what they have and each other that much more.

This is the second part in Eoin and Aline’s story, I do recommend reading at least books four and five together. Eoin learns Aline’s secret and ran and now she has left her parents and is on her own. Will the find their way back to each other? Fast-paced read with loads of drama, suspense and steam. Great characters, sizzling chemistry and twists and turns. I liked it.

Dangers of Love❤️

Oh my gosh, I just loved the conclusion to Aline and Eoin’s story. We get a few surprises in this one but I can honestly say that I can’t think of a better way for this story to have ended for this couple❣️

At the end of the previous book, Aline leaves her parents place after discovering what Freedom has done. She reconnects with Eoin and they decide to take things slowly, however life loves to throw curveballs and they get a whopper of one😜

I loved all the hints about some of the other siblings and I’m definitely intrigued to see what’s going to happen next, can’t wait😍 I received an advanced copy via Booksprout and willingly leave my honest review❣️

Warm and fuzzy feeling all over... loved it

I’ve seriously not been able to put this book down. Part 2 of Eoin’s story is just so moving and heartwarming. This big, brave soldier who has struggled with life, unable to communicate since the ambush that ended his military career becomes the most loving, caring and supportive person in this second instalment. Even when life turns everything on its head, he refuses to run and hide. He’s learned that facing that which he fears the most is the only thing that’s going to save him.

For Eoin, it’s a beautiful tale of surviving loss. The void it leaves, the guilt it creates. Finding Aline, saving her and finally having that one person who could ground him and make him feel like he has a future truly saves him.

As for Aline... she’s grown as a person. No longer is she letting everyone make her decisions for her and make her feel bad for the ones that she makes.

Being controlled all her life by her family has made her feel undervalued and smothered. The only person she feels understands her need to not be pushed or pulled but allowed to be her own person, is the person she’s known the least amount of time. The only one who knows her... respects her... makes her feel like she is the one in control. Eoin.

That’s as much as I’m going to say... because to say any more would give too much away, but I absolutely loved this story. Unlike part one, there’s not as much action or drama, but it’s more about love growing between two people that shouldn’t have ever met, but through some bizarre twist they were thrown together in the most dangerous of situations... destiny?... fate? Whatever it was, the pull between them is so unbelievably strong that no matter how much they try to deny their attraction, they can’t. It runs too deep.

Unlike some of Parker’s other series this one isn’t as raunchy... no BDSM kinks or playrooms... just good, old fashioned passionate, sensual love making. It’s still as sexy as hell... in some ways more so because the love between them and the chemistry is so symbiotic that it feels so natural and in no way forced.

There’s no male dominance or female submissive relationship in this story.... they are equals and if anything Aline becomes the more sexual of the partnership as she finds her inner strength and confidence. She’s no longer got her sister vetting her friendships and deciding the way her life is going to proceed.

Aline has chosen Eoin and she is determined to fight for him and their future... no matter how far from normal their relationship is... normal doesn’t always mean right... and what they have feels so right that it can’t be wrong.

I love books that give you that warm and fuzzy feeling at the end and I can’t wait to read Brody’s story. First Alec, then Eoin... These McCrae brothers are certainly worth turning the pages.

♦️♦️ONE THRILLING ADVENTURE♦️♦️
Burning britches boo! Parker delivers with this scintillating tilt-her-world and setting my heart aflutter, laying out some harsh facts, tantalizing lessons and titillating choices, launching this gem to staggering heights. Shenanigans and serendipity descend in a tempest of unpredictable events and difficult decisions, observing the separate struggles and challenging triumphs while attentive to the dramatic twists and stunning turns unfolding, secrets are shared, revelations disclosed and promises pledged, wrapping this jewel up sleek, shiny and tight. Entwined, combined and crisply coiled, exposing the soaring ups and agonizing downs breathtaking in it's simplicity and beautiful in it's depth, catapulting this baby to life flawlessly. The attraction and chemistry ignites with such intoxicating intensity, showcasing the explosive emotions and infinite affection, drawing our characters closer, binding them together seamlessly. The characters are complex, genuine and realistic with traits and qualities that balance and blend, with amazing depth and diversity with enough spice to add an extra kick to the mix. The scenes are abundantly descriptive with colorful details that blend and flow, creating a majestic backdrop that's so rich and lively it feels as though you're part of the story instead of on the sidelines, feeling everything the characters feel. Fabulous job Parker, thanks for sharing this awesome little gem with us.

In this journey M.S. Parker takes you on with Eoin’s and Aline story. This is definite page turner that has a little bit of everything, twist and turns, and drama it has it all.

Eoin McCrae and his best friend Leo joins the Amy straight out of high school and are stationed in Iraq. After receiving injures suffered in the attack Eoin is sent back to America to recover and grip the loss of Leo and his fellow Army brothers

Aline Mercier freshly graduated teacher travels to Iran with her sister Freedom as a volunteer to teach English to the kids.

What Aline didn't expect is to be separated from Freedom and kidnapped by mercenaries.

After Freedom reaches out to Cain an old boy friend in help fins and free her sister Eion is tasked to go to Iran and help with the rescue

Then the story takes you on the rescue attempt to get Aline safe and sound. The other twist that comes into the rescue they were not expecting was their to be other prisoner being held hostage.

This story is a page turner and a must read in my opinion, however it does end on cliff hanger.

This book was all that you could have hoped for having read the first part. The external characters remained key to the story and your emotions will be all over the place. Freedom will still annoy you (but it won’t stop you wanting her book too...) and Eoin and Aline’s HEA journey will pull you along.

Eoin realises his mistake and so tracks down Aline, who has walked away from everything having realised she has no real life of her own. She tracks down an old friend and starts again. Eoin convinces Aline to try again and all is going well till something big happens to accelerate their relationship.
This brings along a host of misunderstandings as they both deal with the news differently and their new life together as well as Eoin’s residual PTSD and how that impacts his relationship with Aline.

Thoroughly enjoyable and page turning. The characters were easy to imagine and I liked how even when they were struggling with each other they were strong as a unit in the face of her family.

Once Aline was back in LA she stayed with her parents, until there was a hugh disagreement among them causing her to pack her bag and leave. She did not tell anyone where she was going, but she went to stay with her only friend not in common with Freedom, Martina Chavez. Her family would never think of Martina, and she would take in Aline without questions. Martina even found her a seasonal job at a boutique in the mall to help pass the time. That was where Eoin found her after Freedom came by the Security Office taking no prisoners, when Aline left her parents house not telling anyone where she was going. Eoin agreed not tell anyone where she was staying, and they started dating as an actual couple. They were going to try to be a real couple, but they suffered a great many ups, downs, twists, and turns in the road early on in their relationship. Leo's father always had the best advice for Eoin, and in the end Freedom had a redeeming quality which was a surprise.

This is the fifth book in The Scottish Billionaires series and the continuation of Eoin and Aline’s story. It is not a standalone as it picks up from where the first book left off. Aline left home to prove that she is capable of making it on her own but she is going to learn some hard lessons. Eoin is in a tail spin after Aline’s sister drops a bomb. However, he realizes his mistake and is set on making things right and getting a second chance. Aline and Eoin have their vulnerabilities when it comes to being in a relationship and they each have quite a bit to learn. Will they be able to stay together? This is a well written, drama filled read with two characters that have blazing chemistry between them. It is a storyline of love, forgiveness and understanding. I am going to go back and read the rest of the series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I have just spent the best part of the day reading Eoin and Aline’s story part 2. I could not put it down.

At the end of book 1, Aline, the 22 year old who has never really been alone in her life, walked out of her parents’ home and went to stay with a school friend while she figures things out. Eoin is still coming to grips with the fact his best friend is dead, and that he can no longer be a soldier.

Eoin goes back to work, and it is only when Freedom arrives at Cain’s office that he finds out Aline is missing. He finds her easily enough.

From here on the couple have to learn how to be in a relationship, to know when to stop pushing, how to accept help and how to be at peace with themselves.

I liked the fact that this book concentrated on the emotions and personal growth than the sex.

At the end of book 4, dealing with Eoin’s reaction when he found out that he was her first , Aline then had to deal with her overbearing protective family..... Their actions after her telling them a few truths and her sister being a truly selfish a$$ .... Aline felt she had to get away so she left without a word to her parents...... Aline went to an old friend of hers who welcomed her into her home and even got her a job at the place where she worked ... For once in her life she began to feel good about herself and her situation..... Eoin had officially started his new job with the security firm owned by Cain.... when Aline’s sister Freedom shows up at Cains offices and lays blame on Eoin ... informing them That because of him ......Aline is missing . Although Freedom told him to stay away from her sister ....Eoin knew what he had to do and set out to find her....... It doesn’t take him long ...and they more or less pick up from where they left off and end up in bed ... . Their relationship seems to be going in the right direction when Aline discovers something that will change both of their lives forever....... Eoin is happy albeit a bit scared of what lies ahead. It’s clear though that Eoin has a great deal of underlying emotional issues going back to when he lost his mother at an early age, right up to the horrific events he witnessed in active service that he needs to address before they can have their HEA.........Although not as dramatic as the first part of their story this is more about their journey to find true happiness ..... I felt was a good end to their part of the whole series... and off we go to another brother and see what he gets into...

At the end of book one, Strangers in Love, Aline left home during the middle of the night after Eoin had broken her heart.
She has gone into hiding from her family. Freedom hunts down Eoin blaming him. She doesn’t think Aline can look after herself but Eoin points out that she is 22! She want Cain’s help to track her but she doesn’t want Eoin anywhere near Aline.
But after everything that had happened between them, Eoin can’t stop thinking about her and a heart to heart with Leo’s dad helps Eoin face some painful truths. The most important one of which is ‘live’....
This is an excellent and thoroughly enjoyable conclusion. It is so powerful and tears fell again. Brilliantly written as so much is said through so little. Fantastic.

These two troubled souls really need to work things out. Alline runs and takes refuge with a friend. She gets a part time job and starts to make plans for her future. Eoin just runs to hide from it all. When Freedom reports Alline as missing Eoin tracks her down. They are on their way to a reconciliation. When Alline finds out she is pregnant she calls Eoin to tell him. He is involved in an accident in the middle of the call when their vehicle is hit by a truck. Alline shows up at the hospital and she and Eoin work on reconciling. There are a few more bumps for them to work through on their road but they navigate it carefully trying to find their way to a HEA without everyone interfering. Great read. Definitely read the first book.

I would recommend you read Strangers in Love first, as this is the concluding book involving the main characters, Eoin and Aline.
After the cliff hanger of an ending to the first book I couldn’t wait to start reading this and it definitely did not disappoint! I could not put it down! You will be engrosed in the thrills and frustrations of these characters! Loved the fact that Aline finally stood her ground and stood up to her family. I do wonder what is the story behind her sister, Harmony - let’s hope we find out in another thrilling book by this author.
If you are new to the novels by M.S.Parker, you will soon be hooked! All her books are fantastic reads with twists and turns keeps you entertained. It also makes you want to read another straight away!!

Aline Mercier and Eoin McCrae are back in this second book in their series. Now that both Aline and Eoin are back in the states they try to get their lives back in order. But fate inevitably intervenes and the unmistakable chemistry between them and their definite need for each other seems to keep their romance on a collision course. Eoin and Aline face emotional turmoil from their experiences overseas, and their pasts in their family lives and it impacts the delicate bond being made as they journey through their relationship facing their jobs, family issues, living arrangements, ghosts from the past, physical and mental issues as well as trying to strengthen the love they desperately want to save. Great read

Dangers of Love

The best ending for 2 people who have been through the ringer. I am so happy with this book. There were many more smiles in this book. Eoin and Aline were so much happier.
After everything that has happened in Eoin's life losing Leo, his own injuries and PTSD, knowing he was smiling was just wonderful! Same for Aline. At the kidnapping, she could have lost everything. If it weren't for her sweet Eoin, she wouldn't be out and could have been hurt in a cruel way. So to see her happy is wonderful too. Although they did have some problems in this book, all in all it made me sooo happy.
When Eoin introduced Aline to his family, they were truly happy for him knowing how hard his life was. And some knew of Aline because he rescued her.
I highly recommend this book. It is the last in Eoin and Aline's story.

Aline has walked out of her parents house after the huge blow up with her sister, Freedom. She ends up staying with an old friend from childhood. Eoin has no clue that she is gone until Freedom comes and chew him out. He finds her and they talk about all that happened that fateful night. They get back together and everything is moving along smoothly. A live changing event has come and neither one is prepared for it. But they slowly move forward and progress nicely. He doesn't want her to teach in a possible dangerous area. She thinks he is trying to make the decision for her like it was done her whole life. She gets mad and walks out. Will they work out the misunderstanding and make it last?

An extraordinary story.

This is the continuing story of Eoin & Aline. Eoin works in security after getting out of the military. Aline has left home after she was chastised by her parents and her sister for what happened between Eoin and herself after the ordeal she went through. Her parents and her sister have always been protective of her. She almost never gets to make choices on her own. Eoin and Aline both are insecure, only for different reasons, but they are deep. Neither one of them knows how to be in a relationship. There are misunderstandings along the way. Lifetime changes arise. Can they make it if they stay together? This is a great conclusion to Eoin and Aline’s story. I got so engrossed in this story I couldn’t put it down. I highly recommend this series.

LOVED THIS BOOK: Great addition to a great story line

So I wrote a similar review when I finished Alec and Lumen's story but it seems that the "Scottish Billionaires" series just gets better and better. I COULD NOT put this book down and read it in a few hours. For anyone who has read the rest of the series, this book is a great follow-up. You got to see the growth of Eoin and Alone while getting snippets of Alec and the rest of the McCrae clan.

This story made me cry from feeling Eoin's pain after his time in the military and made me laugh out loud with their banter. I CAN NOT WAIT for the continuation of this family. I've read several of M.S. Parker's previous series but this one absolutely takes the cake. Its has twists and surprises that kept me turning the page.

The thrill ride continues for Aline and Eoin

Dangers of Love is the fifth book in The Scottish Billionaires series and the second book in the continuing story of Eoin and Aline. This book starts where the previous book, Strangers in Love, ended. There were some things that I liked about this second book and others that perplexed me a bit more. The drama and suspense continue only now add in a bunch of family issues on her side. I hate to say it but at a couple points I was ready to shake some sense into Aline and her sister Freedom had my head spinning trying to figure out what the heck was happening. The book is well written but for me this one was just not as strong as Strangers in Love.

I love the continuation of Eoin and Aline's story. I would say you really need to read these in order, or at least the book directly before this one to be up to date on the story arc and characters. This is the 5th book in M. S. Parker's Scottish Billionaires Series and the second featuring this couple.

Like all M. S. Parker stories there are some more graphic scenes and non stop action. We get to explore more of the characters dynamic and see them progress as they become more "comfortable" in their situation.

This is the second book in Eion and Aline's story and this author did not disappoint, and book one is a must read before this one

Eion and Aline fell hard and fast and they are thrown into the middle of relationship at the start of theirs, with Aline's family not treating her the way an adult should be and Eion wanting Aline more than he ever thought he could want a women makes for a relationship filled with sparks and stop your heart moments.

MS Parker has to be one of my most favorite authors and although each series usually ends book one with a cliff hanger of all cliff hangers each and every book is worth every minute you spend reading them.

After coming to grasp with who they are and what they want to do on their own, now they have a chance to work on the US. While Aline over analizes and her mind goes a mile a minute, Eoin has to deal with fear and PTSD. The idea of also losing her is paralyzing to him. This is an easy read where the characters are hit in the face with a dose of "Grow Up". There are not many ups and downs in this book. It has some misunderstandings and like I mentioned before, there is a lot of over thinking in this book and you as a reader will feel like having a front row seat to their insecurities. But I did like that they easily find the best way to communicate.

Make sure you read the previous book for this story (Strangers in Love), so you get all of Eoin and Aline's story. Eoin knows that he mucked up, and he can't seem to get Aline out of his head. Can he win her back? Is he brave enough to do it? Aline is over how her family treat her, she might be the baby of the family, but she is over it. Will she let Eoin back in her life, after he disappointed her? I loved the heat between Eoin and Aline, their banter, and how many smiles and laughs their story gave me.

This is the continuation of their story. I really enjoyed when Aline left home and finally taking control. Eoin was a strong but imperfect man. I was caught up in their relationship and all the trials and tribulations that they had to endure. I still have some questions but maybe another book.... Once I started this book I just had to know how it ended. The writing was great the story moved along nicely, the characters were great and I can relate to Aline. This is just a fabulous book. The whole series was great.

Confusing but Super Sweet!

Aline’s life is changing so fast she has a hard time wrapping her head around it. She’s 22, has a Masters degree for teaching, been kidnapped and rescued. Now she is trying to figure out what is up from down. Her world is spinning out of control.

Eoin is having his own personal battles with how to deal with everything that’s happening. His fear of letting the people he cares for down and wanting to protect them all is causing him to make situations more intense which is not what e wants!

Back and forth their lives swirl. Read along to follow their roller coaster romance.

The second book about Eoin and Aline is a love story that unfolds in unusual circumstances and it is really about them growing as individuals because of those circumstances. Eoin learns to let the past stop defining him and Aline learns to be strong and not just ‘go along for the ride’ because that is what her family wants. Alec, Eoin’s brother gives Eoin words of wisdom about his relationship and Eoin takes it to heart. There are a couple of loose ends such as what is Freedom’s secret but maybe we will find out in a later book.
