1. The misunderstandings were fine in C15 but I was getting tired of them by C30. Then I skipped ahead to C53 and turns out they were still going strong. Which means I'm out of here.
2. I mean, ALL problems would be solved if the four characters shared their knowledge with each other. Like, just a little of it even. The only one who makes proactive efforts towards this is Alice, and she only has a tiny part of the information so all it manages to do is suck things up even more. Which is not necessarily a bad thing in of itself but it has been the primary source of conflict for the WHOLE STORY. How am I supposed to take people's feelings seriously if they can't communicate with each other?
3. Also, fuck you Aaron. Everyone except Alice is guilty of this shit but fuck you in particular because you have no reason to be this way.
4. I guess Nocton is the most interesting character in here because he's the only one who has a tragic backstory and solid motives AND all the worldbuilding but he cannot carry the whole story by himself so here we are in DNF-land.
I didn't like this story. I felt it dragged so, so much. I got bored. The fmc is endlessly thinking badly of the mmc. All because her "best friend", Alice, told her she had prophetic dreams and her childhood friend for more than 10 years was the villain in the story. Also, everyone had very badly kept secrets, and the for some reason the emperor died and Durua was going to marry her childhood friend, but it was not that bad because her, up-to-now ex-fiance had been in secret meetings with him and he trusts the mmc. Oh, and someone messed with her memories. And the mmc has hypnotic powers and has been hypnotizing her from day one but actually, she is immune (according to the synopsis) so who knows what's the truth? I'm not. I'm done.
