A Short, cheesy one night stand with a stranger.
Smut level :🌶️🌶️
Turns out the stranger was her new boss at the law firm she just started working at …. Oops.

I don’t know why he decided to take a random drunk girl home to keep her “Safe” lol but hey he tried to be the good guy. Now his new secretary is this awkward and clumsy girl he just slept with… smh. I will read the next one to see what happens.

Separate questions:
Why is he trying to defend a woman who admitted to killing her husband?
Hopefully Hillary changes his mind on that one.
What happened in her past relationship?
Did her ex try to kill her?
What did his ex do to him to make him such a grump?
I’m just like y’all just let it go lol

At chapter 5 and feel like I'm behind the right because it seems like I came into the middle of a story from a prior book. But when I check nope this is book 1. So, I pushed on till chapter 5 then decide to read a few reviews to see if anyone else feels as lost as me. Nope. But the first thing I see is the cliffhanger Oh Hell to the No! This girls hate cliffhangers. So DNF!

I believed that this story had potential. As many readers have documented. A big time lawyer who has taken over the family business & is good at his job. Gale's heart was broken 5 years ago by a manipulating, manic, lunatic Fiancé. NO one knows what Stella did to him. His parents loved her & didn't understand why they broke it off. Gale never believed in love again. Didn't even want to date. His closest friend has asked him to go to a club to relax. Instead he gets a drink thrown at him. Puked on. But this clumsy, beauty. He wants to do the right thing & take her home. But she wound tell him where she lives. Instead he takes he to her place. Watches her sleep. When she wakes up they end up having the best sex either of them have had.
Hillary, was to meet up with a protentional date that left her hanging for two hours. (No one knows why). When Erica her friend who set up the blind date thru a dating app. She felt horrible & told Hillary they were going out on the town. Instead after her hurt from being stood up she got drunk. Then thought the man she was suppose to meet was Gale. Unfortunately when you get drunk I guess all men look the same fuzzy.

Hillary barely escaped from a abusive relationship. From a man named Joe we believe is a criminal. He has been stalking her ever since she escaped his clutches. With the help of Erica she was able to escape. Go to college & would be starting her new career as a secretary in a prestige's law firm. Little does she know when she arrives late her boss is none other than the handsome man she slept with the night before.
Gale is shocked & furious when he sees Hillary. He wonders if it was planned. Then his colleagues tell him to be careful, she is just a gold digger. Gale runs hot & cold with Hillary. One ,minute he desires her. The next he comes down on her with full force, embarrassing her, ridiculing her in front of the other staff. But Hillary holds her own. Until they end up in bed together again. The word has gone out & she is now considered the slut who got her job by sleeping with the boss.
I have to say that I was hoping to find a HEA in this story. But it ends with a cliffhanger.

I need to be clear about my review on this book. The next few chapters I am very angry & emotional about. So the reviews will probably be bias. Which is why I want to be clear. The author writes extremally well. You can feel the desire, tension in the story. The fact that I'm taking this really emotional, at times want to stop reading, shows she is a good writer.

Loved this little short story that of course leaves you with a cliffhanger! This is the story of Gale and Hillary. Gale is a billionaire lawyer who had his heart broken 5 years ago by a woman named Stella. Because of this, he does not believe in love and does not want to get his heart broken again. Hillary is a young woman who was in a very bad, abusive relationship who just wants to be single and live her life for herself. She doesn’t want to be in a relationship. But what happens one night when Hillary thinks Gale is the guy who stood her up for a blind date?
Although it was short, you don’t find out exactly what happened to Gale and Hillary in their past relationships – you are given little tidbits here and there. I am anxious to see what happens in the next book between Gale and Hillary. There was passion and chemistry between the two, so I hope the next book goes into more details!

This is book one of the series Billionaires Lawyers by Mya Grey. This book began with Gale, a successful lawyer with a past that tormented him. He had a fiancée and ended the relationship but after 5 years still dealing with the past and never moved on. On the other hand, is Hillary, a woman that was abused physically and emotionally by her ex. She is trying to move on with the help of her friends. However, after a failed blind date she went with her friends to a club and got drunk. For destiny, Gale and Hillary met and ended in a one night stand. The only problem is that was more than that for both of them and next day she realized that the mystery man is her new boss.
The story is full of mysteries about Gale and Hillary’s past. The book is really nice to read. I wanted to finish it to know what will happen but, I have to wait to the next book. Great characters and different plot. Really like it.

What a great start to get you hooked!! Definitely a cliffhanger you'll be anxious to continue. Hillary still recovering from an abusive relationship is pushed to go on a blind date from her worried besties. Being stood up in said blind date may be the cream on a dirt cake but the cherry in top is yet to come. Enter billionaires lawyer Gayle Fears with his own dark past of a love gone bad and you get the cherry own top. Getting a drink in the face for mistaken identity is one thing but the rest he could do without!! From protecting the drunk woman at his feet, to an incredible one night stand and a cold shoulder the next morning, Gale has to protect has black heart first and foremost. Until be meets his new secretary the next morning... It's Her!!! Holding in for the next part and can't wait!!!

I was so very excited to have received a ARC Copy Of Accidental Love by Mya Grey !! This is book # 1 in the Billionaire Lawyer Series . I absolutely loved this book so much , I could not put it down from the very first chapter .
Hillary and Gale have both been burned in past relationships and are not looking for anything serious. There is definitely a lot of chemistry between to two of them and the way they actually end up meeting will have you laughing . All the side characters were really wonderful as well . I can already tell that this is only the start to what will be a great series .
Mya Grey is one of my very favorite authors and hits another hone run !!!

This is the first book in the A Billionaire Lawyer Series. In Accidental Love we meet Hillary and Gale. Both, Hillary and Gale, have been hurt in their past relationships and have no interest in pursing a relationship or love. This book does a great job of introducing us to the characters and giving us just enough insight to understand their individual storylines and a desire to keep reading. Ultimately, Accidental Love is one big introduction with a one night stand that is the setup for the series. This isn’t a bad thing, it’s just some thing to be aware of before jumping in and realizing it ends in a cliffhanger. Enjoy!

1st book in a series and Ms. Grey has me hooked! Gale is a high profile lawyer who has it all together (or so he tells himself). Hilary is a woman recovering from an abusive relationship and getting back on her own again. But she isn't the only one with a broken heart.
Accidental Love is the start of an attraction that I can see turning into an infatuation. Two people who have a chance meeting and run in two different circles. There's no way their paths would cross again... or is there? Please please read this book and see for yourself.

This is book one of the Billionaire Lawyer Series and it ends on a cliffhanger. This book has a dual point of view. I would have preferred a longer book than 65 pages which to me is more of a novella. I liked the mc's. Both of them have had a bad previous relationship and in no hurry to get into another one anytime soon. I am looking forward to the next book.

This is the first book in the series and it packs a punch.
Both Hillary and Gale have been hurt before in love and both say never again.
When a blind date doesn't show Hillary's friends take her out to get drunk. That's where she meets Gale and throws a drink in his face before throwing up on him.
Later their night does get better but will they ever see each other again.
The chemistry between them is so hot but neither wants a relationship.
Ends on a cliffhanger so I can't wait for the next book.

A good start to a new series. This book sets the stage for the series about Gale and Hillary. They both have pasts that we are given glimpses into in this first book. These pasts have definitely made them both object to relationships and love. After a mistaken identity and passing out Gale takes Hillary to his home to look after her. This leads to a steamy night for them both before finding out that he is also her new boss. This is a series so don’t expect a conclusion at the end of this book, but the cliffhanger isn’t too intense.

This is the first book of the series and it got me hooked. After an eventful evening, Gale and Hillary spend the night together. When they part, they never think they will see each other again. What a surprise when Hillary goes to her first day at work and her new boss is Gale.
The plot is very intriguing, filled with funny moments, uncomfortable situations and interesting encounters. Since the first page, Mya Grey manages to captivate the readers with her writing. I can't wait for the next book.

Mya is kicking this series off right. Hillary and Gale both have been burned and aren’t looking for love but seems like fate has other things in story. The way they meet will have you laughing and the ending will have you saying what the heck. All of the characters are likeable and Gale and Hillary are definitely attacked to each other. I am anxious to see how this series will play out. This is my honest and voluntary review that I am leaving for the arc copy that I received.

Oh, what a wonderful start to a new series. Gale and Hilary each have a past that, I’m sure, will be disclosed in the next book(s) in the series. Both have been let down in their past relationships. I’m so curious to see what that past was and to see how they make it to their future hea. This part of the storyline is so much fun and their chemistry is hot. There is a cliffhanger. Hillary and Gale’s story is off to a great start. In typical Mya Grey fashion book 1 ends in a cliffhanger. They both have rocky pasts and are jaded in love and relationships. Gale jumped at the chance to save Hillary subconsciously comparing her to his ex. I am thoroughly looking forward to what happens next in book 2 and the rest of the series.

Both are trying to move on from their failures. IS It destiny or fate ,that there part crossed one night.There is so much chemistry between these two, you just have to read to fine out what happened next.

Very short and mediocre 1.5 stars

I knew it was broken up into six sections, but I read it anyway because it was free with kindle unlimited. It was annoying though how short each book was. It was just ok. There was a lot going on and things were very predictable and all over the place. I don’t think I recommend this one, even for a free read. Lots of repetition and I skimmed a lot because of it. Didn’t miss much detail in the few paragraphs because it was already mentioned.

This book just lays out the two main characters, Gale and Hilary. It cliffhangers just when the real story is about to begin. I'm really liking these two broken characters and am planning to finish out their stories. Just know if you start this series, you will want to finish it!

Darn, just as it was getting good.

The book could have been much longer without the cliff hang. I normally disregard authors that do that cliff hang stuff, but this story kept me reading til I was out of book. Anyway two people who had been out of relationships for a while and closed others out have a chance one night stand only to find they'll be working together.

Recognizing this is just the opening course for this dinner, it is good enough to encourage continued reading. I like the fact that Hilary is being careful with her terminology and speaking her mind appeals to Gale. It seems that this may be a witty, intriguing series.

Hillary was in an abusive relationship and doesn't want to get involved with anyone else. He was in a bad relationship also.. There are parts of this that is so funny. I can see sparks flying with these two. Next part please.

This is book one of the Billionaire Lawyer Series and it does end on a cliffhanger. This is about Hilary and Gale who both have had past relationships that have screwed up their perceptions of love. We see bits and pieces of the backstories and each have been hurt in different ways. Hilary’s friends want her to give love a chance again and set her up on a date with a man named Kyle, who stands her up. Sad and angry at herself for being hopeful, Hilary and her friends hit up the new nightclub where she “meets” Gale. They have quite the meeting and it sets the stage for the rest of the book.

I really liked what I read and the author has a wonderful writing style. I was interested the entire time, liked the dual POV and wanted to see what happened next. My reason for only 3 stars has to do with the length and the cliffhanger. I understand why authors do cliffhangers but there have only been a handful that I’ve understood the point and still loved the book. This book is so short that just when I was getting into it, it ended. I wonder how many books the author will release in this series that I will have to buy to finish the story when I’d rather just buy one fully fleshed out novel that I can bury myself in and devour.
