The Stress of Travel

We met Leon and Courtney at their wedding in the prior book in the series, Evan. This is a little different as the couple has already met, fallen in love, and started their HEA... or so we thought. Instead, they find themselves in a situation where neither is happy.

I like how this differs. There's still great heat and chemistry but different twists to overcome. The story reads quickly, too. I enjoyed this as part of the Big Hot Alphas collection bks 10-12.

Leon is the 12th and final installment in Kate Hunt’s Big Hot Alphas series. It chronicles the romantic journey of Courtney and Leon. Readers met them in book 11 as secondary characters who were getting married. Their wedding was the catalyst that brought Rose and Ethan together. Now, they’ve been married for a while. Courtney is still a flight attendant. Leon is in a new job, a promotion, as a commercial real estate developer. As such, they spend so much time apart and it is putting stress on their marriage. Will they be able to discuss this issue and come up with a solution? Or, will it create a ridge that breaks them apart? To find out, you must read this book.

Ms. Hunt, once again, masterfully uses literary devices such as characterization, dual POV, dialog, and descriptive language to weave her romantic tales. I enjoy that she creates the female lead as a BBW. The plot is the basic boy meets girl, boy falls in love with girl, ad and HEA ending. Her lead characters are multi-dimensional and strong, yet at times vulnerable. Her skill with painting vivid scenes that garner her readers’ attention. There were a dozen books in this series and each on was unique. I like that although the basic premise were the same the difference laid in each of the lead couples, the circumstances they faced, and how they addressed the issues presented. Nicely done, Ms. Hunt.

I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.

Courtney was married to the love of her life but recently things had gone a little sour her and Leon spent more time apart than they have together. She was an Air Hostess and a darn good one but when it looks like her career could be about to destroy her marriage she knows that something is going to have give and soon. Leon is her world and she isn’t ready to let something push them apart. But how will Leon react when he finds out how she feels, is this really the fix for their issues?

Leon never thought that marriage would be a bed of roses but with all the travelling they do it seems like they are drifting apart more and more. At one point his career meant everything to him but Courtney means more, will he be able to convince her of how much she means to him or is it already too late?

I loved this quick little read, it isn’t often that you read anything where the couple aren't living their perfect life, this one shows that its ok for things not to be going great and once these two start to communicate things get better. Kate Hunt is definitely a five of mine. 4* Read

Figuring out what you value the most

LEON is the twelfth book in the Big Hot Alphas series and is the story of married couple Courtney and Leon. This is a fast-paced and entertaining story with a lot of emotion in it. Courtney is a flight attendant and Leon works for a property development company. A while ago Leon got a promotion that has meant he is traveling and away for work more often which has put a strain on their marriage. It feels like neither of them are home at the same time and they meet in airports instead. As with most couples things are hard to talk about, just talk and not fight. They each don't want to ask the other to give up with they do as they know the other really likes their jobs. But sometimes things have to change and you have to makes some choices, not matter how hard, if you value your priorities.

I really enjoyed this well written book. The story-line was very engaging and was something different from the usual. The characters are nicely developed and their passion is smoking hot and sexy. For me this book is a RECOMMEND READ!

This story is about a married couple, Courtney and Leon, who adore each other. But with Courtney being a flight attendant and Leon being a commercial real estate developer, they each constantly travel their separate ways. Not being able to spend time together is wearing them both down and is not healthy for their marriage. Decisions will need to be made to fix this problem before it begins to damage their marriage. But where will they begin? Who will have to sacrifice? Or can they communicate and work out a solution together?

This was a good story that really gets the reader thinking! It seems like a simple problem, but the focus is on what a married couple should do to deal with a potential issue in the marriage. Grab your copy and see how Courtney and Leon dealt with their situation before it truly became a problem for them.

First things first; I like the cover of this book!
Leon is the twelfth book in the ‘’big hot alpha’s’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Leon and Courtney are a married couple in love. With both of them having travelling jobs they barely get to see each other and something needs to change.
The chemistry between Leon and Courtney is clear to see and I liked them together. I thought they made a cute couple.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.

I thought that this was a really sweet book. Leon and Courtney are basically newlyweds but with crazy work schedules, they barely see each other. These two are still head over heels for each but they have to find a way to reconnect with barely seeing each other. I really liked the connection and chemistry between Leon and Courtney and how they couldn't get enough of each other. I can't wait to see what the rest of the series has in store for us. I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it and Ms. Kate as an awesome author!

Kate Hunt's latest offerings in her Big Hot Alphas series, Leon, is a sweet and steamy romance about a couple already married - and it is fabulous! Courtney and Leon are very married and very much in love with one another. But her job as a flight attendant and his as a commercial real estate developer requires lots of travel for both - and the lack of time spent together is starting to wear on both of them, and their marriage. The novella is a beautiful look in how this hot alpha and his curvy goddess work on making each other their first priority instead of letting life get in the way.

So good

The final book in the hit alphas serious didn't disappoint. You meet Leon and Courtney in Ethan's book. Rose is Courtney best friend. So back to these two. They have jobs pulling on their marriage. One is always gone working while the other is at home from their job. They are tired of it and want something to change. Anything to bring them back together. When they both reveal some news they are worried the other won't be happy. Hoping these two lovebirds can figure out balance in life and marriage. Such a wonderful read. I'd like to know more about Julian. He is Leon's brother.

When they finally connected, it was HOT. I love reading married couple romances and this one didn't disappoint.

I loved that we got Courtney and Leon's story. It was written perfectly with lots of love, steam and some marital drama. Both were feeling pressure from their jobs taking them away from home so much and putting tension between them. Can they fix things before it gets worse? You will love this short bedtime read.

Two Hearts, One Marriage

This book is truly a testament to the true meaning of marriage. Both Leon and Courtney share such a wonderful connection and their chemistry is hot and palpable.

This short story is about two people who love each other and are trying to find their balance. It showed the need to communicate and compromise in a relationship. I liked seeing things from both sides and the love and support they got from their friends and family as well as each other.

I love how this is about a couple already married and now trying to navigate their busy schedules with spending time together. You could feel their love throughout and regardless of their issues, you know they would do anything for each other. It's short and sweet and with just the right amount of steam.

In book twelve of the series we get Leon and Courtney's story. A married couple who love each other but never have enough time together because of their jobs. I enjoyed reading this book because the storyline was different from most books I read. From the unique storyline to the likable characters this is a great addition to the series. Leon and Courtney are married but due to his promotion and her job as an air stewardess, they hardly see each other. They both think something needs to change.

I received this as an arc for my honest review

I really enjoyed this book. I liked that given the length of the book it was about a couple trying to stay together rather than the start of their love story. A fast read that kept me entertained.
