Phoebe has nothing but her secrets. Her alien protector is determined to lay them bare.
Phoebe arrives on the moon of Clotho with a trunk full of secrets and an imagination filled with preconceived notions about life on the frontier. She’s more than ready to scrap and fight for her own piece of farmland, and a future for the little one she is adopting. When her new land turns out to be underwater, and the baby shows up in the strapping arms of an Invicta dragon-guard, Phoebe doubles down on her promise to herself to live free, or die trying.
Tyro never asked to be made guardian to a baby. But little Atlas has his heart, and he is shocked to find that the baby’s adopted mother has his soul. His inner dragon roars triumphant, but his human side must fight to win her over. If only the headstrong little Terran would slow down long enough to let him claim her before mad desire pushes his restraint to the limit.
When the farm is threatened, the two must work together to protect Atlas’s future. But then Phoebe’s past comes back to find her, and she has a decision to make that could derail even the best laid plans. Tyro is willing to bet the farm on their future together. Will Phoebe run, or will she decide to land herself an alien?

Phoebe me pareció increíble.
i liked this one a bit less the water farming thing was weird but cool and the yurt was cool but omg that would be terrible idk i thought they had a weirder relationship but i did like the droid! they treated it so well and he was so cute
and the wedding at the end sounded cool idk i just think i liked kade and aurora the best
I really enjoy the way each book in this series has the characters own perspective of their adoption stories. I love the characters in this book! They are both so innocent and willing to learn and help others. I enjoyed that their relationship had its up and downs, but most of all I enjoyed the openness to share what they thought and what they had. The author did a fantastic job with this quick little romance and I can’t wait to see what she brings us next.
Simply wonderful addition to series, great characters and story This is another wonderful addition to the series as another woman takes her life and good fortune into her hands and adopts an Iberian baby and a small piece of land and then ventures to a new world where she will meet them, become the mommy and raise food on their farm to sustain them on their new world. Tyro is waiting for Atlas’s mother to arrive he is a strong healthy baby and is taking in all that happens around him, the woman who he knows nothing about is late arriving and he finds this frustrating. Phoebe is not expecting to be living in a Yurt as her and the baby’s home she had expected a building, however as Tyro had stated it was cosy and warm although it does remind her of a circus tent. The farm however is a different matter altogether she had expected dirt and a plough and instead the farm was growing luxberry’s which grow submerged in water, they are a cash rich crop because they are iridescent. They give off an attractive glow in low light which makes them popular for parties, wedding and other special occasions. It soon becomes apparent that someone has stolen their propeller shaft for the water pump, then the netting protecting the fruit from fruit is cut and her neighbours and shops seem far from friendly and she has no idea why? Then Tyro explains to her that she is in fact his Fated Mate which is not too much of a surprise as she has been having feelings and dreams that made her feel as though the have known each other in a past life, as strange as this may sound to others. The story is full of love and laughter and good friends and new friends. There is plenty of action and adventure and both Tyro and Phoebe and baby Atlas are a wonderful family group. I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read. I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.
Trying to catch my breathe….WOW! This story has it ALL and then some! “Tyro” is the third book in the Alien Adoption Agency and continues the plot thread of the previous stories. They are all standalone but it is enjoyable if you read the other books in order to appreciate the interaction with all the characters. Unlike the other two “mothers” from the other stories, Phoebe comes from a wealthy family but decided to run from her planned future and enter the Alien Adoption Agency. She will adopt a baby (Atlas), tend the land and make it fruitful for her baby. Her father and Phoebe ran a very successful farm on her home planet so that wouldn’t be a problem. Right? Ooops, this farm is not on land but under water! Phoebe does not have a clue how to deal with a farm that is totally under water. In addition, there are other unexpected difficulties. Her neighbors resent her since she received the best farm and they are struggling to make ends meet. She didn’t know that baby Atlas comes with Tyro, the green Dragon Warrior of Invicta, a guardian who will live with them until Atlas is 20 years old. And, the story takes off! Will she be able to make the farm a success? Will she let Tyro and Atlas into her heart? Will her secrets destroy the relationship that is blossoming? This is a sweet alien/adoption romance filled with adventure, suspense, danger, feisty women and lots of personal growth. The story is a page turner from page one!! Thank you, Tasha Black!!
It's time for the big green guy to settle in with his human (and her newly adopted baby) and Tyro's a sweetie. He's a sweet, green marshmallow of a dragon warrior and I like him.
Where Tyro is sweet and Atlas is an adorable chonk, Phoebe is...a little out of her comfort zone. While she technically grew up on a farm, she's not the hardy frontierswoman her friends think her to be. While she might not know a ton about underwater farming, she is VERY good at organizing and coming up with solutions. She's also kind to robots which will be a big plus if the robots ever rise up. (That doesn't happen in this book, I'm just pointing it out. Be kind to robots. You never know when they'll become self-aware.)
By the by, Tyro is just as possessive and protective of his charges (both the baby and Phoebe) as the other Invicta warriors. He's also pretty straightforward. So when Phoebe's secrets start coming to light, it takes him some time to work through what he needs to do about it.
An underwater farm, a lady who needs to recalibrate to see how she fits into her new life, an encounter with sassy lady (who happens to give good advice), a dragon with a purpose, and new friends. Good times!
It was another one of those, can't put it downs. Phoebe has taken off to find a farm of her own with a trunk she doesn't want to lose. It is full of secrets to valuable to her. When she gets there it isn't what she would consider a farm at all! It is an underwater berry farm, something she knows nothing about. Plus her farm house is a very big tent. Talk about a rip off! Then she finds out she also has the Dragon Warrior who met her with her adopted son at the ship for about 20 years until the child grows up, non-negotiable She thinks she feels something toward him but she doesn't need this right now. She just ditched a fiance she heard was cheating on her & marrying her for her, land she needs to concentrate on making this farm work for her new son. Tyro can tell by the way she is acting she is not pleased with the setup. Then his dragon has to decide this is his mate! This is going to be a rough ride until he can get her to see things his way. He then has to tell her it looks like a propeller has been stolen off their water pump. He will go into town tomorrow to get another one. She decides to go with him to do some shopping as well. She wants some strong chains to keep her trunk safe if they have a thief running around. Besides he isn't too thrifty with money. When they came through town last night, he bought some food from a vendor & over paid as far as she was concerned. When they got the hardware store she asked him to let her do the paying, he agreed not really knowing why she wanted to. She asked for chains that couldn't be cut by regular tools & was told they could be expensive. She said that was ok. She then asked about a propeller in his case & another thing as well. Shen tells him about a sister from a different moon who can probably get it for a better price so he offers 25% of. She takes both propellers. She then asks about the rental off the droids helping & is given a price she will take. She chooses the little one, she pays the shopkeeper & they leave after he gives her commands to program the droid. As they leave she can hear whispering from people lined up behind her, not what is being said. Tyro is impressed, his mate is smart! They get some more food stocked up & head back to the dock. She programs the droid to know he will be working for them. She asks what he has done before. He watched children like Atlas, helped around the store & house. She tells him he will be patrolling the dock to watch for intruders while they are sleeping & watching Atlas while they are working the farm. Can he do that? He says yes, & if something is wrong he has a siren he can use to get their attention. He goes to do his first job & entertain Atlas with his lights. Tyro is surprised how polite she is with the droid, most people just treat like a tool. She tells him that her father always told her to treat all their workers well no matter who they are, they would be happier to help you that way. The next day they find holes in the fencing guarding the berries. She asks the droid to watch Atlas & prepares to go into the water to fix it. Tyro stops her to tell her she has to wear armor to go in. There are creatures in there that would munch on her. Very well, does she have any? He says yes, but he would rather she stay out of the water & just let him do it. Does he have armor? He tells her he is a dragon & doesn't need it. She tells him if she is going to farm these berries she will have to do it. She's going in, he is proud of his mate but she is stubborn! They both go in & he shows her how to patch the fence. Later he tells her about dragon mates & she is his, it is forever. But he will not rush her into anything. They are washing off in shower when he asks her if she will be his, she says yes. They are about to seal the deal when the droid out on the dock sounds his alarm. There is an intruder, Tyro starts to change but gets out of the tent before he can knock it down. She calls the police but grabs him some pants & pulls on some clothes as she runs out to find Tyro on the dock with a man who claims to be a farmer 2 docks down. She sends the droid in to watch Atlas. Tyro does back to his normal shape & she gives him some pants. They want to know why he is there. He doesn't give to good of an answer. She had hoped to get a better start with her neighbors, she has been hearing things about how bad the lake had been getting. What this man is saying about how she had no place being here wasn't making it much better. The police get there & she sends them on their way telling them it had been a misunderstanding. The farmer leaves. It is becoming morning & Tyro goes to feed Atlas. He comes to the door to meet a man he doesn't know wanting to see his mate. He wants to know why. Phoebe comes around the tent right when he tells Tyro he is her fiance. She is shocked, what is he doing here? How did he find her? Tyro wants to know if this is true, when she doesn't say anything but look at the man, he gives her Atlas & leaves. He needs some advice. He goes to the woman who had offered herself to him, she might know something. He talks all night with her. Phoebe finally gets things cleared up with Cash, her now ex-fiance. She needs to speak to Tyro, where is he? He comes back through but stops by the store to hear one of the farmers talking about finding gold on the beach. It must be from the wreck years ago. He gets back to the dock & goes in to find the man gone. Phoebe explains, things. They go out to see the whole fence destroyed & her crop gone! She is finished. She goes to the store to ask about what it would take to fix everything. When she explains to the keeper her whole farm was destroyed he asks about her tools. She says no. They had used them to fix the fence yesterday. She then finds out that the hosing she used to patch the fence did it, not the other farmers. That makes her happy. She gets back to the dock to find all the other farmers there. They realize it was her jewelry they found on the beach not from an old wreck. That was what she had in the trunk. They start deciding to work together to help with the lake & each other. The dragon again asks to be sure if she will be his mate. She says yes. Later there is a wedding for a 3 women who came together on that ship.
I got book 13 for free to review I liked it. So now I’m starting at the beginning so far I’m enjoying the series. Cute babies, gorgeous ripped dragon warriors sworn to protect the babies to age 18 for males , 20 for females apparently. Every 3 books has 3 warriors 3 adopted babies ( 2 males and a female) and 3 mothers each little family going off to a different area on the moon, or planet they have arrived on. Each family has various different transports and.. a about to embark on different way of life. Whether they will now become farmer, fisher, rancher, etc…. So each book is unique each MFC has a secret or a past. To overcome. And the dragon warriors. Must accept that the female is their fated mate! There are dangers on these worlds that can get them killed. The world building in this series is well developed. Characters are well defined and a well developed stories for under 30 chapters per book. HEA. No cheating, no cliff hanger just a Segway into next book. Off to read book 4
Tasha Black, you are amazing & I want to thank you for writing these books. I have loved each of them more than words can say. Yes, I only recently discovered the Alien Adoption Agency books, better late than never, but I am in love with them. Noxx, Kade & Tyro' stories were phenomenal. Some of the best writing I've read in a long while & I am an avid reader.
Your heroines Luna, Aurora & Phoebe were such strong, brave, courageous & beautiful characters. I loved the uniqueness of each one. I adored them meeting their adopted babies & their fated mates. These stories grabbed me & won't let go.
Thank you for writing books without foul language & with the sweetest love stories without explicit sex. You write beautiful & classy books with the perfect amount of everything a great story needs.
I'm so excited that there are more books in this series. Thank you & please keep writing so I never run out of awesome books to read 💚💛💚
A short and sweet alien romance. If you’ve read other books in this series, then you know what you’re getting into. They all have a certain formula.
This one reads like a farming sim. Like playing a game of Harvest Moon. Get a farm, solve farm problems, meet townspeople.
This one seemed a little less deep, because it never incorporated any of the world building events of the previous two. For instance, we know that refugees have to set up camp on the beach at some point (first book), and we know that the dock gets ruined during the Sheriff Cup (second book), and we know that the local constabulary is causing harm locally (second book), but none of that impacts the events in this book.
Don’t get me wrong, none of these books are particularly deep, but this one did feel like it was missing something by ignoring background events.
I enjoyed this story. This is the first story that I have read from Tasha Black but it definitely won't be my last. I enjoyed the story and liked the fact that it dealth with a strong and independent woman who was trying to make it on her own, she even tried to fight her feelings for Tyro at first. I thought the story was very interesting and I really liked the characters. We get to see the characters of the first two novels in this series for a little bit as well. Now I am definitely looking forward to reading those as well. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys futuristic romance novels. I received an advance review copy of this book and am leaving a voluntary honest review.
Life at home wasn't what she thought it would be. Time to leave and find a new life. She wasn't prepared for a gorgeous green alien, a BIG baby, and for sure an underwater farm. But she's strong, and so much more than she seems at the beginning. (I have to admit it took me a minute to figure her out.)
His job is to protect the baby. Surprise! She's not just the adopting mother, but Tyro's mate. Now he just has to convince her that they are meant to be together.
They are strangers in the village. She's got to prove herself. What can she do to change the opinion of them to make it better for the baby she has quickly come to love. You'll have to read to find out but you will love it, guaranteed.
Tyro is a green Warrior dragon shifter, who is task with guarding Atlas, a chameleon like alien until he is twenty. Phoebe is a rich lady who knows farming, but her farm is under water. She has much to learn.
These unique characters are feisty, down-to-earth work ethics, and sometimes intriguing in their relationships. This fast paced story gives the reader futuristic look at pioneering a colony and visualizing what life might be like on another world than ours. I like the writer concept of human women brought to take care of an alien pod babies and ending up with so much more. These books are enjoyable and recommended reading.
So this was not as good as Kade and Aurora’s book at first. I really had to wait to warm up to Phoebe, but once her coldness melted away I really enjoyed myself. Tyro had an innocence to him that I liked, even though it was mostly from his immediate attraction to Phoebe and less about him not understanding. The dragon shifter was a goner from the beginning. I really enjoyed how everything was tied up at the end but secretly I had hoped there had been more- like an extended epilogue or something to show how they progressed as each couple settled into life on the planet. Other than that, it was once again a cute story. Time to jump into the next trilogy in this series!
It takes two, plus a baby.... I think this couple is very well matched in cleverness and skills, giving one another room to shine without being envious. Tyro is an open book but Phoebe is definitely a flight risk considering her history and high-minded expectations, lol. They are both very compassionate and equally attracted to one another so the heat is on... I enjoyed their story and will miss this adoption quest, full of adventure, unique alien land/life and of course these sexy, mesmerizing and tantalizing dragons with a heart of gold and only eyes for one.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This should be 6 stars IMHO! : ) I’m totally addicted!! “TYRO” is the 3rd delicious page-turner from the ‘Alien Adoption Agency’ series! Once again I was totally hooked from the beginning, and read the whole story in one afternoon :D ... Ms. Black always provides a fresh, unique storyline with drama & romance. Amazing attention to detail and clever dialogue, breathes life into the wonderful characters, especially the H/h, Tyro & Phoebe! ... Even tho I volunteered to read this prior to release day, it was without any outside influences, and I usually do buy kindle books whenever I can. So I honestly recommend this to adult fans of fiction! : ) I can’t wait for more books from this author!
This was just a great read! I enjoyed every minute of this one and I must say this was the perfect conclusion. Even though Tyro wasn't really sure what to think of Phoebe at first, in the end they became my favorite couple. I did enjoy that Phoebe wasn't like the other "mothers" that showed up. She came from money but I did love her determination.
Third book in this series and like the others, this is completely standalone. Everything you need to know about the back story is explained. This got off to a rocky start for me since I wasn't a fan of Phoebe initially. However, as the story progressed and we got to see more of her, I grew to understand and like her more. Tyro turned out to be a very enjoyable read that benefits from giving the reader exactly what you need. It's quick, fun, light, a nice bit of romance with a few bumps along the way to an ultimate HEA. This isn't great literature, but it's a fun way to fill a couple of hours.
Phobe has come to Clotho to raise a child and in return she gets to have her own farm. Of course, nobody told her that her crop grows underwater or that her new home was a yurt. She also wasn't aware that her son came with a dragon protector. A dragon-man that draws her in like a bear to honey. The only downside seems to be her neighbors and fellow farmers who resent her farm ownership and are not going to make her feel welcome. But she can overcome that, right? The only question is, can she protect her heart from Tyro? Things get even more tangled when her ex-fiance shows up asking why she ran from him. Oops.
I was given a copy of this book by the author. My review is voluntary.
I was really itching to slap Phoebe on the back of her head. Phoebe was cold, short, and pretty much an arrogant know-it-all. It wasn't too long before she got over it.
Tyro was patient with Atlas' new mom, and he had to make it clear he was there for the baby, not her. Of course, inwardly, Tyro's dragon was going nuts trying to convince Tyro to claim his mate.
With a misunderstanding here and several mistakes, it all worked out.
By-the-by, the way that Tasha Black builds Clotho over three books is worthy of Frank Herbert. Cloth is fascinating beyond words. I hope the other books might show us more.
The last of the three friends to head to this specific moon to adopt and raise a baby. Phoebe has a big secret though. She left her planet for a reason, now she just wants to farm and lead a life of freedom. Tyro knew from the moment he saw her that Phoebe was his mate, and now she is the mother of atlas the adopted little boy. Phoebe has her secrets, andTyro is about to figure her out. This book was so good, of course it is about Phoebe and tyro and how they come together to make a family without list. But you also see the community, and how people come together to help each other. Such a good book with a very nice happily ever after
"He hoped she would agree to open her heart to his friendship."
Phoebe was looking to leave her old life behind, but maybe she should have paid attention to more of the details about this new life she was signing on for.
Tyro is committed to baby Atlas. His adoptive mother is one surprise after another.
This done in one kindle unlimited book really highlights not just the challenges when people from different cultures interact, but also focuses on how a collection of strangers become neighbors and a community. There is charm, and something special both in the lessons these characters learn, and the ones they teach.
Our last Big Green Invicta Dragon Warrior has his work cut out for him. Tyro needs to not only bring out his new mates mothering instincts for her adopted baby son, Atlas but love for Tyro too. Phoebe has a business plan in mind, instilled by her Father's successful Camellia farm. A farm underwater, missing equipment plus angry neighbors, oh and a Yurt to live in. Life doesn't always give you what you think you want but what you need. Author, Tasha Black gave us 3 different family groups with problems, hopes, dreams and willing to make a change to find happiness.
A great conclusion to this fun series. Tyro is the green Dragon Warrior of Invicta and he has his work cut out for him with Phoebe. Unlike the other two “mothers” she comes from a privileged background and a successful farm. She only has one thing in mind when it comes to the plot of land she was allotted for taking on the baby, set up a successful farming venture just like her father has but she is in for a big surprise when the farm she gets is totally underwater. Will she be able to make it a success? Will she lower her walls enough to let Tyro and by extension Atlas in? Will her secrets destroy everything before they can ever really begin?
A fun conclusion to the series. At first Phoebe comes across as a cold and spoiled princess, and Tyro isn’t sure what to think. I was put off a bit myself at her attitude the first couple of chapters, but then Phoebe seems to soften and be more easily understood. The submerged farming at the lake was so different from the environments Luna/Noxx and Aurora/Kade experienced in the previous books so this is an entirely unique story.
Phoebe has a past that shows up and surprises Tyro. They have a bit of a misunderstanding which if left to fester could tear them apart. It was interesting to see each of them work through this obstacle to their relationship.
I received an ARC from the author and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
Phoebe is the last of this group from the intergalactic adoption agency and her baby is in the arms of a big green warrior named Tyro but phoebe is sure if this was the right decision because she has come just to restart her life as a farmer be she never counted that this moon farmed definitely. But now Tyro is also something she didn’t count on. Tyro didn’t count on finding his mate and he can’t quite figure her out. But when it all seams like everything is working out trouble come. So enjoy this good read and see what trouble come and how it works out!!
Such happy and lovely stories in this series. Tyro is tasked to care and protect baby Atlas. When he meets Atlas's new mother, Phoebe, Tyro immediately knows she is his mate. Phoebe is gifted a special farm for agreeing to adopt Atlas. During their interactions with the town and merchants, Tyro finds Phoebe to be a strong, caring and intelligent woman. There are a few ups and downs before they get their happily ever after but they learn they are strong not only together but also with the other farms and people.
I think Phoebe and Tyro make the biggest impression with the biggest changes to accept. She came from an affluent family where life was easier. She was a but of a pampered princess but between Tyro and baby Atlas, she learned there is much more to life than just property. Tyro stole my heart from the very beginning. His personality and ready smile was the perfect medicine Phoebe didn't know she needed. I'm eager to see where the rest of this series will 5ake me.
