Avaryn Alastor's life couldn't possibly get any worse, or at least that's what she had thought before she crossed the threshold of Crestwood academy.
Crestwood academy was a school for the rich and the smart, being built in the eighteen hundreds it was bound to have a few secrets and Avaryn was prepared to find them out. secret number one: The Devara. that's what they call themselves, the six richest, mysterious and well-known group throughout the whole school. they were unlike anyone she had ever met before. they were beautiful and smart and Avaryn had never been more fascinated. The kids at school tell her to stay away from them, which only intrigued her more, and besides how could she stay away when one of them was her roommate?
she investigates, sticking her nose where it doesn't belong and she finds out their secret and she's not sure if it was a good thing or not. the Devara is supernatural, they come from a whole other world she had thought remained in only children's books. a world of magic and pain and light.
the Devara's were royalty back in their world but tragedy struck their families and they were forced to leave. but with royalty comes enemies.
Now these enemies are after Avaryn. and the only way shell survive is by sticking with the Devara.

I finish at sometime around 1 in the morning. This story is addictive and beautifully written. I was unsure whether to cry, laugh or scream. Dying for the story to continue!!

I might have stayed up until 2 a.m. to finish this, and I don't regret it at all. If you love enemies to lovers, you need to read this!

Raiden has my entire heart. No words. Periodt. Also it includes so many dagger-to-throat tropes, enemies to lovers, captured tropes, strong female lead, found family etc. It also has the morally grey villain that was sent to kill each other, but fall in love but both are too stubborn to admit it. Also at one point they both get captures/ forced to spend time together. I'm going to read the sequel on wattpad and its supposed to have like one bed trope, spicy, etc.

this book is AMAZING, i am currently reading the 2nd book (shadows of blood and deceit) on wattpad. i cannot wait for the paper copies to be published. one thing: enemies to lovers and the love interest is hot af. the main character, love her too

"My Little Thief"
I just finished this AMAZING book and started the second one because I couldn't be any longer without reading about Raiden and Avaryn.
The book is fenomenal, i wish it was on paper and i hope that someday gets to be, because it deserves it. You're gonna love most of the characters and there's also gonna be the ones that you will hate or the one that you'll have a love hate relationship.
This book brings you into a world full of light and shadows and it gives you the best tropes like dagger-to-throat, captured tropes, enemies to lovers to enemies, a strong female lead and the well loved *morally grey villain* that has to betrayed you but that will make you fall for him in the process.
If you wanna spend some of your time...you should definitely read THIS because you're not gonna regret it. :)

Oh my god, I LOVE this book with all my heart. I read this book months ago but I still think about it every single time. This book got me back into reading after years. This book will always hold a special place in my heart. it brings me comfort and will forever be my comfort read. I love everything about it, the vibe, the settings, the writing, and omg the characters.
I love ryn’s character development. She is SOOO HOT. AND RAIDEN EJEBWJBDJWHSBW. They are so... I’m speechless. And Everson!!!! My comfort character :) I love him so much and I want to give him the biggest hug.
And the second book is even more good. I’m truly speechless and is very grateful to have the privilege to read this duology.

When I tell you I love this book- I LOVE IT!
It satisfied my every need, had every single troupe I loved and mastered it in perfection. The characters were amazing the love interest is to die for and actually, all of the main characters in this book are to die for. By the way I’m still not over how it actually just- god it really satisfied all the troupes I love and I’m just so happy I found this book it’s one of my all time favourites. Though I read it on Wattpad, I’m so getting my hands on hands on copies of this because it’s so worth it. I read the few parts of the second book that are out on Wattpad and, *insert internal scream*, it’s perfect I cried wanting more. Ugh this book!

I really quite like this book that it almost made me love it! During the starting chapters I really devoured and loved it because of how good the writing was and how lovable all the characters are, but then as I continue reading on the following chapters it was kinda bland for me, I was pretty bored at some point. But then during 20+ chapters the plot got more interesting and exciting. So if ever your in the middle reading it and planning on dnfing it, please don't. I promise you it will get better. I really like the characters but special mention to Roz, Raiden & Everson. They're just amazing and if you combined all of them that's me:) Also really great enemies to lovers, loveee the banter. That's all I can say <3

Words cannot describe my love for this book.The writing, the characters, the plot, the univers, everything was *chef kiss*
There’s everything we love : a slowburn enemies to lovers with amazing banter, morally grey characters, a hot baddas and powerful main character with great development, an extremely hot love interest who is a villain ( actually all the characters are hot), a one bed trope( I think in the second book) a who did this to you trope.
You don’t know you need to read this book until you’ve read it, so go read it NOW I swear you won’t regret it

This book was the first book I had ever read from Wattpad, so I didn't know what to expect. However, this book exceeded my expectations. The beginning of the book I didn't really enjoy because I thought the transitions were a bit funky. I honestly only kept reading it because the comments said it got better and to stick with it. However, as the story progressed, you could see the author's writing improve. Now I am fully invested in the story and team Raiden is the only one I will ever support.

Ok so I only started reading this because of TikTok. I was like ohh yeah I can read this as a little study break...... I went to bed at 4 am just to finish it. All I can say is that it was super ADDICTIVE my only problem is that some parts of the plot are a little muddy.
