Another great short story by Kate. Zac and sky's story is intense, steamy and fast paced. I loved every minute of it. can't wait for book 3 in the Dirty Elite Academy series . READ IT. You won't be disappointed 😉

Spicy x Forbidden Love. Not the biggest fan of “step sibling” trope. Honestly, grosses me out a bit lol but still a decent story if you’re looking for a quick fun read.

I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.
Sky world changed when her mum remarried suddenly she was thrust into an unfamiliar world of the Elite Academy and inherited a step brother, the none other than renowned ladies man Zac Harden. His conquests are widely known throughout the school and she knows she should hate him for it but as much as she tries to fight it he is the man she thinks of when reading her risqué books late at night. She knows that he would never be really interested in a shy nerdy girl like her but when they are left alone when their parents finally have a honeymoon she is suddenly faced with a Zac she never knew existed. Can she trust him with her heart or is this just a game to him?
Zac Harden is the kid who has everything, rich father, successful athletic career and any girl he wants well except the one that he truly wants, he took one look at Sky and knew that he had found the one that was meant to be his. From that moment on no other woman existed much to the displeasure of many girls at school. Zac knows that the time is coming where he needs to make a move or lose Sky forever so when their parents announce that they are going on their honeymoon he knows this is his chance to show Sky what they have and who she belongs too. But will past lovers ruin what they could have before they have even truly begun?
I wasn’t sure if I was going to like Zac after his character was introduced in book one but you can’t help but love how he ,messes up with Sky and how he is willing to do whatever it takes to keep her for himself. If you like short, steamy reads with a possessive male and virgin heroine then these books have been written just for you. Highly enjoyable 4* read.

I enjoyed this book! I always say this, and I'm going to say this again—I wish this was a full novel. I would've wanted to read more and immerse myself in Sky and Zac'a world. Novella always leave me wanting more. I wish Kate re-would write this a novel.
It's like you're just starting and them bam, it's already the end... huhu.

Sky and Zac have a kind of taboo/forbidden attraction that they try so hard to fight because they are step siblings but sometimes chemistry and fate doesn’t give you an option to walk away. Sky is a shy nerdy type who studies hard, has high ambitions, and tries to stay out of the limelight. Zac is the cocky athlete, with amazing good looks, and is usually the center of attention. They are exact opposites and should never work but attraction is too much. I loved how when Zac let his guard down we got to see a very different side of him and his love for Sky. This is a fast paced read about finding love and trying to hold onto it even if society says it’s wrong. Very fun read and can’t wait for Savannah’s story.

Typical cute enemies to lovers story ! Sky and Zac are newly step bro and stepsister . Sky “hates” him more than she can stand . Or that’s what she’s telling herself , when she’s not dreaming about him .

I also found the second book in the 'Dirty Elite Academy' series wonderful! The short story about Sky and Zac fascinated me and I finished the book in one evening. It was sweet and steamy and kept me in suspense until the last chapter. I can only recommend the book and I'm really looking forward to the next volume!

I was expecting a much different story but what I got was just fantastic. I thought it would have that bullying aspect with some of the things that Zac said and just the fact he is the jock that could get any girl the love em and leave em type. Sky was a book worm and very studious. They are total opposites but they say opposites attract, and in this case they really attracted. I liked the way Kate Blake told the story. I really enjoyed the story and am waiting for the other books to come out, I already purchased the rest of the books. Great story with wonderful characters.

Forbidden romance between a possessive hot swimmer and his guarded stepsister. I enjoyed it from start to finish. It's steamy, fast, and exciting.
On the brink of going to college, hot-blooded Zac is ready to claim the woman he's been teasing with his handsome looks, dirty mouth, and naughty behaviour since their parents married a few months back. This kinky situation is quite exciting as the male character is bold and charming, he is biding his time to take what's his and knows no bounds to keep her for himself.
Possessive much, this man still shows care and restraint when she needs him, and they share a very warm and sweet moment before passion breaks loose and they burn the sheets.
I liked this novella better than the first one. It flows better and even though it's still over the top, it works well here with all the hormones exploding and feelings getting out of the closet. Good entertainment.

I really enjoyed this story. Before I read it, I read the previous book, although it is not necessary. I thought this book was far better than the first book in the series. I love that you feel the frustration between the main characters. The story moves quickly, and while Sky describes some of Zac's less-than-stellar moments, the ones we see all have him behaving with Sky at the heart of it.

A high school romance that is more than meets the eye. Zac has known the only girl for him is Sky, now he only has to convince her of his true intentions. An interesting storyline with some steamy scenes with high emotions. Good ending with explanations all around and truths coming out with everyone happy.

I love these short sexy reads by Kate J Blake. They are the perfect mix of forbidden love, steam and heart to give you a desperately needed break from a crazy day. Zac and Sky had that perfect love/hate relationship that only new step-siblings can have. Little did they know those bickering moments could possibly lead them to something so much more.

Sky is the girl who is shy and reads romance novels in her room at night. She loves fiercely and cares deeply. She's upset that Zac is her step brother because he's nothing but mean to her. She hasn't come to terms with the fact that maybe it's because he likes her so much. Zac is the step brother who's been in love with her since they first met. No one compares to Sky. This was a very hot and steamy novella. Zac and Sky have fantastic chemistry together and it is sizzling hot. Though Zac seems like a jerk, you really see the reason behind why he acts the way he does. Both Zac and Sky are actually very likeable characters, and you hope they can get through to their HEA. This was entertaining and enjoyable to read.

I go straight to short stories or novellas when my brain cannot handle a longer read or can’t take life in general. You? Just me? Don’t get me wrong, I like a long, plot-heavy story, but sometimes my brain has other plans.
Kate J. Blake’s “Make Me Believe,” all 117 pages, caught my eye at the perfect time. A forbidden stepbrother romance with an MMC that falls first for his virigina step-sister, who believes he’s just a player.
Zac and Sky are new step-siblings whose parents only married for a few months. Zac comes across as a b/ülly to Sky, saying crude things to her. He’s an athlete who gets attention from all the girls, but she doesn’t give him any. Despite him being a j/3rk to her, she still finds herself thinking of him often in an intimate way.

Holy Cow!! Zac was the quintessential bad boy raised by his single father since birth (that is a sad story in itself). He's enjoying the benefits I'd Dirty Elite until his life alters with one statement - "I'm getting married." Whlle his dad deserved it, and he liked Crystal, it was his new step-sybling, Sky, that tilted his world. He knew immediately that she was his. Now, he just had to make sure she was on board!🤣
This is one of my favorite of the early Dirty Elite books. Zac was amazing when getting wanted to be. Sky was what I expected after being raised by Crystal single-handedly. Whoa, this book is spicy! 🔥 Zac, the bold and brooding stepbro, is all about getting what he wants - and that includes the feisty heroine. Their chemistry is off the charts, even if she tries to deny it. But when the parents leave them alone for two weeks, all bets are off. 👀 Prepare for some major heat and heart-fluttering moments as these two navigate their forbidden connection. Zac and Sky are forced to live together because of their parent's marriage and the thoughts about each other are far from innocent. Sky is inexperienced, while Zac is a player on a self-imposed hiatus until he can make her his. These two are cute together and have feelings outside of just thinking the other one is hot. I really liked how they came together and the way the story progressed. 5 stars on this short story.

If you are looking for a quick, spicy read with a touch of taboo (step-siblings) then this is a great book for you. Hot, hot, hot with just enough story to make it better. The characters are given just enough back story to get you invested and the story is good enough to keep you absorbed.
Only lost 1 star as a couple of sentences didn't quite read right. They aren't necessarily mistakes but to me they don't quite make sense.

This is a quick, steamy romance with a very taboo/forbidden relationship. Zac is Sky's stepbrother. Yet, their chemistry is threw the roof. It is very passionate and fast paced.
I enjoyed the interactions and was very well written.
