This one here is a must do all the way around. You are getting the best too with their stories in this gem. Looking to binge that could also happen with this one. I do so adore the motto they have that is the military no man left behind so this inspired anthology is aptly named also. Some are a quickie so no fret you would not have to worry if not wanting to take too long. Some are just right. They are all though melt in your mind around a veteran. The journey will be one that takes a good tug on emotions but one that will satisfy. Some will be teasers so be careful and watch for more later. Do yourself a favor and get a treat.

Vets are given a bad rep. They all experience some trauma from the time they served and don't know how to deal or adjust to their new life. But having K9 support dogs to help and be there for them is fantastic. There's only 3 authors in this group I've read before, the others are new and hope to read more from them. I love the stories but hate to be kept hanging until I can read their continuing stories. The suspense is killing me. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This anthology is perfect for so many reasons. As a military brat myself military stories always get to me. Each of these stories feature military themes with soldiers who are hurt and the things they use to get better. Whole reading this book you get to meet in authors and give to wonderful charities. The authors did an amazing job. I will admit I might of teared up a time or two. Now I have found new authors to explore and was reminded of ones I love. Absolutely amazing.
I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book and I absolutely loved it. Nine standalone stories from some really talented authors. These books all feature a veteran hero that is strong and likable. They each find a heroine that is perfect for them.
I received a complimentary review copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review. Kinetic: by Elizabeth Knox & E. C. Land: (Disappointed) KKKK!! I don't understand what just happened. Part of a story or just leaving me hanging. It was just getting interesting. Would like to know what happened. Just bummed. His Rage: by M. Merin: (Disappointed 2) OK! I am not happy. This is the second story that is not done. At least in my opinion. A good story as far as it went though. Gunner's Redemption: by H. J. Marshall: (A healing touch) A healing touch. Is it a real thing? Some believe it is and some think it is a myth. How can a touch make your world spin and every thing right? I believe it to be true. But then I am a romantic at heart. Sad story with some good coming along. Changing Seasons: by Jewelz Baxter: (Someone to fight his demons) You hear about animals that are for handicapped people and Wounded Warriors. That is what this story reminds me of. They help when the person is starting to have an episode. They have a way of calming the person. I have always had a dog in my house. They need care and you get to pet them and make sure they are in good health. Not a bad job to have in life. Good story. Healing Love: by Cedar Rose: (Coming home broken) Unconditional love it can bring you back from hell. A pet is unconditional love. They love you no matter what. That is why I can't take it when people abuse them. Very, very good story. I made me cry, but it is such a good story. Coming Home: by TK Lawyer: (A long time getting there.) This story is short. The story is all there also. A good one. Abby and Sterling long time friends. Saving Grace: by K.C. Stone: (The name of the story tells it all.) A story about people coming back from deployment in the East. What they go through and what they have to live with every day. Some times it helps when they can find someone to talk to about it. Some times it does not help. Maybe the dogs do help them. I have heard that they do help. I think that our men and women are so awesome. They give their time and some times their lives so people like me can live in freedom. I wish I could do more for them. Sam's Only Hope: by Claire Ashlynn: (Just because.) Can a person get over their self. Just because there might be a medical reason they are not physically perfect does not mean that they don't deserve to be happy. There are a lot of people that don't care about looks just how that person makes them feel. But to be fair there are people that freak out about missing limbs also. I like to think that they are a small percentage though. A good story, short and sweet. Nice ending. Puppy Kisses: by Jaime Russell: (Help me be whole.) Very excellent story. So many of our soldiers come home to us hurt or some never leave the battle ground. It should be up to us to show them we are here for them. To lend a helping hand or a shoulder to cry on, NO JUDGMENT. To be there. We as a people owe them so much and the understanding to help them and make them whole again. God bless our service men.
This is an anthology of nine stories of wounded veteran's seeking their place in the world given each's problems with recovery from physical or emotional trauma from their service. First story is Kinetic by Elizabeth Knox and E.C. Land where Charlee returned to town to care for her mother. She had broken up with Kaden (AKA Kinetic) when he joined the military without discussing it with her, but she had a secret...no spoilers though...Second in line is His Rage by M. Maren which is about Owen who is about to get a service dog since he has PTSD with a dog trainer, Lucy vetting him for the dog, but sparks fly between them...Third up is Gunner's Redemption by H.J Marshall where Kade (AKA Gunner) became patched member of Death Hounds M/C along with Skid. Skid's sister and younger brother live in sketchy area of town, and when Jacob came home bloody, she took him to M/C clubhouse for help...Gunner was there, immediately took over situation and got fainting Sadie to his room...but no spoilers....The Fourth selection is Changing Seasons by Jewelz Baxter...where Leo always visited with local war vets at the general store in small mountain town, some of men thought he should look into a therapy dog, but he didn't agree, but new neighbor's dog kept stopping in to his house and soon he was looking forward to visits from the dog's attractive owner as well as from Tasha the dog...the Fifth story is Healing Love by Cedar Rose where Sienna was back home from the service, finding her horse, dog, cat and man she knew for years helped heal her wartime night terrors...the Sixth tale is Coming Home by T.K. Lawyer where Army veteran returning home rather than re-enlisting in service. He shared a German Shephard with his best friend Abby, whom he has loved since childhood and now may be when he can finally get with her...the Seventh story is Saving Grace by K.C. Stone where Jax is suffering from nightmares from his time in Iraq, but he is having issues with his prosthetic device, and is ready for a service dog, getting Grace and his trainer Evelyn, who is also a nurse and assists with his infection on prosthetic device site and acclimate to the dog....The Eighth story is Sam's Only Hope by Claire Ashlynn where Sam is in love with his physical therapist and she's in love with him, but neither acknowledge their connection....and final story is Puppy Kisses by Jaime Russell where Mia can't remember her devastating injuries in war zone, and her brother Adam's best friend Darren decides to help her with her PT which she has been neglecting, along with her life....all the stories are worth a read, with emotions running high while reading these stories of valor and bravery to get back to life after their service...I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Kinetic: Kinetic finds out his high school sweetheart Charlee had his kid and didn’t tell him. Her reasoning is pretty crappy. Really liked this story. Charlee’s mom and her friend are a hoot. Cliffhanger ending.
His Rage: Owen has some serious PTSD after being wounded overseas and is getting a service dog. Lucy has some of her own due to her ex and decides if Owen gets the dog. I absolutely melted the first time Duckie did his job. Owen amused me with his early text interactions with Lucy. I freaking loved this story. Cliffhanger ending.
Gunner’s Redemption: Kade/Gunner’s start with the Death Hounds after his discharge from the army. Sadie is his MC brother’s sister and when she meets Gunner, it is magic for both of them. I am now in love with Gunner.
Changing Seasons: This is a love story between a man and a dog. Leo is refusing most help for his PTSD issues except for a gathering of old veterans. Then a little Pomeranian starts showing up at his house. Rash is a great little dog who knows exactly what he needs. Sweet story.
Healing Love: Sienna is back home after twelve years in the military, not sure what she’s going to do. Some of the people she is coming back to are not who she thought they were. She also has some serious issues, but there is someone that has loved her quietly all along, waiting and biding his time until he could tell her. This story made me cry toward the end.
Coming Home: Sterling has been in love with his best friend Abby for years, having to watch her choose other men to be in Relationships with. She is the main reason he chooses to go home, but he is stuck in the friend zone again, at least until Phil goes away. Very happy ending (or should I say endings?).
Saving Grace: Jax and Evelyn meet when she brings him a service puppy they will work on training together for him. They really save each other in the end. His sister is a nice addition to the story too.
Sam’s Only Hope: Sam had been in love with his physical therapist since he started seeing her, not knowing she feels the same. Cute story. Some amusing moments. Sexy time included.
Puppy Kisses: Mia come a recluse, enabled by her parents, since she’s been home after her recovery from an explosion. Then Darren steps in and drags her out. Darren is just awesome. He is exactly what she needs and knows just where she can get it. Love it.
Kinetic by Elizabeth Knox and EC Land -- Kinetic and Charlee Oh my goodness I cannot wait for this series to come about. We meet Kinetic and Charlee and their story is going to be epic. Just this short story has me wanting more. I am so excited for this. His Rage by M. Merin --Owen and Lucy Well I would seriously like to read more about this couple. I was really in it with their story and then it ended leaving me with my mouth hanging open in shock. I want more and hopefully we won't have to wait long. Gunner's Redemption by HJ Marshall -- Kade and Sadie This one made me tear up so get ready. HJ you bring me another great story and now I want to read this series so please do not make me wait to long for this. Changing Season's by Jewelz Baxter Hanna and Leo Great story about how love and life changes as the seasons do and you don't realize it. Healing Love by Cedar Rose --Beau and Sienna Tear jerker for sure. Tissues on hand like asap. Beau and Sienna's story is great and I love how Beau had been patient with Sienna for years. Sienna learns the truths of things and finally moves on to better. Coming Home by TK Lawyer -- Sterling and Abby Friends to lovers romance are great and Sterling and Abby's story is another one to read. You will love these two. Saving Grace by KC Stone --Jax and Evelyn Jax and Evelyn have an instant attraction. However, Jax has some issues and does not like to ask for help. So Evelyn decides that she will help him but the fire between them will ignite and the love will bloom. Sam's Only Hope by Claire Ashlynn --Sam and Hope Sam is rough around the edges and has a secret crush on Hope. Only she has a crush on him too. So with a little lie from her and something is bound to happen. Puppy Kisses by Jaime Russell --Mia and Darren Tissue is needed for this one as well. Mia is back in civilian population and is struggling to move on but Darren is not going to let her wallow. What will happen with these two.
Each one of these stories had me spellbound and I was in each and every one of them. I did laugh a few here but cried more than anything. I loved that it not only depicts men in the military but women as well. You will definitely like this antho.

This anthology was great. I come from a military family myself and these authors in my opinion did a great job on these characters stories!! Beautifully written and some of these stories left me hanging and I can't wait for the full stories to be released. I also can't wait to read more from the other authors.
Kinetic by Elizabeth Knox & E.C. Land. I'm a huge fan of these two authors work but this book was absolutely great and of course left me hanging. Haha I can not wait for the full book to be released and find out what happens at the bar. Super excited for the rest of this story.
His Rage by M. Merin. Lucy and Owen's story was amazing and I absolutely need more!! I can't wait to find out if there is going to more about Lucy and Owen.. amazing story!!
I also can't wait for more on Gunner and Sadie by H.J. Marshall I definitely need more of their story.
These are amazing storys for are military veterans!! I come from a military family myself and these stories really touched me. Thank you to all the authors!!! Can't wait to read more of these authors books.
This is an amazing anthology which is written by 9 authors and each story is about a veteran and the traumatic experiences they have endured, as well as the women who heal and love them. I have chosen to review a story from my favourite duo of authors: - Kinetic by Elizabeth Knox & E.C. Land Kinetic and Charlee were high school sweethearts until he signed up for the military without discussing it with her, and he left town. Charlee returns to her hometown to take care of her mom, and she has a secret, but what will Kinetic’s reaction be when he finds out? This is a well written story which is heartwrenching, and an emotionally charged story, with danger, suspense, secrets, love, and this is an entertaining and all-consuming read. I look forward to reading more from this talented duo whose work I highly recommend.
No Man Left Behind: A Veteran Inspired Charity Anthology contains 8 stories by 8 authors. This is a great collection of stories where the Hero is a Veteran who falls hard for the woman that he is meant to be with. The women are smart, beautiful, feisty, funny, sexy and caring. The men are big, handsome, scarred, strong, sexy, and have their own issues to deal with. There is a range of tropes so there should be something for everyone in this anthology. I enjoyed the stories I have read so far and look forward to reading the continuation of several stories by the authors.
I received a copy of this book and am leaving my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
The stories gathered here are themed on a veteran’s story as they journey to the completion of their quest, whatever it may be. Sometimes they find love, and other times heartbreak. But meeting these characters will touch your own heart in some significant way. I think each story is inspirational, as it takes great courage and determination to go through these experiences and find a way to move forward in your possibly changed life. Whether renewing relationships or finding new ones, life can be challenging.
Some of the stories in this anthology are just a peek of what's to come from these amazing authors, while others are short stories or novellas. The proceeds will be donated to charity, so a big thank you to the authors for their contribution to the set.
These stories, are just something else. And despite the proceeds going to charity it is better to just donate the amount the box set costs directly to your favorite charity and then buy another book. OK it said in the intro to this box set that the stories were either short stories, novellas, or intro for what is to come from these authors. Now, I got this as an ARC and I would never pay for this. Simple as that. The stories were cut in the middle, had strange endings or that and had no ending at all. So my headache is one or two stars? I will go by two as some of the stories have somewhat of a storyline and good characters and for the effort of putting this together....

This Veteran Inspired Charity Anthology is for a great cause. Some of the book are just the beginnings of a larger book and some are short, stories and novellas.
If you love reading about Veterans there is plenty of tidbits to wet your appetite. While I prefer complete books, I enjoyed the parts the authors shared in this collection.

5 Verified ARC Reader The Hidden Cost of War by sewsummore
This is a collection of heart warming stories that reminds the reader about the broken lives many of our military veterans return to after their service is complete. The horrors of war never leave our brave service men and women, but with the help of therapy animals and loving hearts many find a future they thought they had lost. This book reminded me of the sacrifice they made and the burden they carry into the future. This was a thought provoking collection that reminded me of the hidden cost of war and the debt of gratitude we all owe these brave soldiers!

I love anthologies but this one is special because it is a charity inspired anthology for veterans. 9 Wonderful authors have written some beautiful and emotional stories. I have read a few of the authors who contributed but I have been introduced to some new authors as well who I will continue to follow and hopefully read more of their work. All the authors did amazing with their story and they certainly have captured some of the trauma and emotions that veterans have hand to, and continue to, endure. Congratulations to all the authors involved on an amazing 5 star read.

Wow great box set. My review is over Kinetic by EC land and Elizabeth Knox. I enjoyed this short story about Kinetic and Charlie. They were high school sweethearts and he joined the military and left. They broke up when he left as she could not deal if he would have been killed. Years later she comes back to town as does he. She has a secret that he finds out about. Then she is held at gun point. Will he save her or will she die as well as their possible reunion? I enjoyed the story but was disappointed as you are left with a cliffhanger. I need the rest of the story!!

No Man Left Behind is a multi-author collection of inspiring and heartfelt stories of complex and often devastating effects of war and the struggles to overcome and return to civilian life. The collection contains short novella and previews of other books that will only whet your appetite for the entire story. Veterans finding that special one, and sometimes there’s a four-legged friend to path the way. All these authors have combined to bring you a great anthology and support a noble and worthy cause. I’m sure there will be more than a few stories to interest every reader.

This is a good collection of Veteran inspired stories for a good cause. The thing I love about anthologies is you get introduced to some writers you may not be as familiar with or are new to you. Some of the stories are introductions or prequels to other stories or soon to be released stories and others are stand alone short stories. I enjoyed most all of the stories. I love the characters. Having read previous works but some of these writers that did not surprise me. My absolute favorite story left me hanging and I am impatiently waiting to read the whole story. "His Rage" by M Merin is a teaser for her upcoming release. I cannot wait to read more!!!
Being a veteran myself I could really dive into these stories and live in them, feel them, and believe in the wonder of them. It helped heal a part of me that I did not know was broken until I picked up this anthology and read what these miraculous authors put into it. Their love and devotion and strength. Thank yo to all of you for shining a light into the dark and making me feel like it was all for naught. For allowing at least one soul to heal with your words. Thank you for giving me a moment when I could escape and live and breath easier. Thank you even though it is not enough but it is all I have!

Like most anthologies, this book has teaser stories, prologue stories, and short stories. However, all of the stories deal with veterans and the afterlife of their service.
These men and women are not perfect, they are all a little broken, and they all deal with their pain a little differently. Their struggles will make you cry, and their triumphs will make you laugh, as the warmth of newfound love opens the heart to hope.
Please, read this book. You will fall in love with the characters.

No Man Left Behind is an anthology of short stories devoted to veterans! There are various authors and stories included, each encompassing some heart-wrenching situations and love!!! Each had its own unique twist and situation….but, ALL were deeply emotional, intense, romantic, and touching!!!! Some were devoted to upcoming series…others were short stories. All of them were excellent!!!!

I liked quite a few of these stories and I now I have a couple of new authors I will be checking out. The stories were only glimpses into an upcoming story that I assuming the author will eventually get to us. The dog as companion/service animal aspect was cool and I found myself enjoying the specifics of the dogs. My favorite partial stories were Kinetic, His Rage, Gunner's Redemption, Sam's Only Hope and Puppy Kisses.

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. This is an anthology put together by these awesome authors to support veterans! Not only is this a worthwhile reason to purchase, the stories are great. There are nine total, ranging from novellas to short stories. I personally plan on purchasing the collection also even though I was lucky enough to get an ARC. I encourage others to do the same

"No Man Left Behind" is a wonderful anthology to discover some new authors you may not have read as yet. Elizabeth Knox, E.C. Land and eight more authors give readers a collection of short stories of veterans. A few deal with PTSD and some are dealing with injuries veterans sometimes face. They are romance stories that will have you smiling at times, but also teary at others. "No Man Left Behind" is an anthology of stories written by ten amazing authors and produced by Knox Publishing, with the proceeds being donated to charity. Some are complete short novellas and a few are cliffhangers with the complete story yet to come. **I was gifted "No Man Left Behind" via Booksprout, and leave my review based on my reading.** 5 Stars!
