Over my dead body.
As President of the Rebel Saints, it’s my duty to protect my men and this town.
That’s just what I intend to do…by any means necessary.

Beautiful.
Sexy as sin.
Trying to deny the attraction between us is futile.
And when she becomes inextricably entwined with defeating our new enemy, all bets are off.
Together, Harper and I are combustible, but so is building tension with our rivals.
Things are reaching a boiling point and ready to explode.
Not everyone can survive the fallout.

This is just not the Mc for me. I like my mc members fo have all the trimmings of a dark and gritty gang . They need guns and clubwhores. This book didn’t even have sex which is fine but just not for me.

Not great/not bad

This is not a bad storyline. It was odd that the story was both really slow with a lot of unnecessary details and really short with missing information. I know that sounds weird but there was a lot of the wrong type of details.

I did like the fact that the h was “normal “ and had a career. I didn’t like the fact that she was a bit boring. The guys were all nice but it was a weird club. The clubhouse was on the second floor of a bar. But we are missing the club interaction. The gritty bikers. The club girls. All of the stuff that creates drama.

This is a bit lite for me. So, nothing awful but nothing to grab me either.

Bones & Harper

Great read, capturing the reader from page 1. Prior heartbreak & broken marriage prevented Bones from seeing the promise of a true love right in front of him. Good presentation of a MC that chose to go legitimate, while protecting against the rival criminal MC. Worth the read. (Reviewed by Lin)

I made it about halfway through, but the writing kept taking me out of the story. Felt like the characters were telling us more than showing us.

Ok, if a book hasn't grabbed my attention by chapter 14, it's not going too. Maybe this was a so slow, it makes watching paint dry sound exciting, burn book? I gave it one stars because I liked the cover. Shirley

I really enjoyed Bones by Lily J Adams this is the first book in the first book Rebel Saints MC series and very pleased to say it was a full length book. I do enjoy an occasional short story but when you have a good story, as this is, it’s very disheartening just when the characters are really developing and the storyline is getting meaty the author wraps everything up in two chapters to meet the word count for a short story! I enjoyed the book narrative in the first person from the perspective of the two main characters. Bones is the story Harper, casino manager of the Red Stone Hotel and Casino and Stone. president of the Rebel Saints MC and owner of a biker bar, this is how Harper and Bones initially meet when.Harper had a flat tyre and wandered into Bones’s bar looking for help, they had instant sparks, which Harper wrote off as impossible that she could ever be attracted to a bad boy biker. Harper sees Bones again at the casino and is instantly attracted to him again even though she is not normally drawn to anyone like his type. When Harper stops by the bar again to offer a job to Bones and the Rebel Saints MC to provide additional security at the casino, things start to change between them after realising their mutual attraction and their sizzling chemistry. Bones informs Harper that he only does casual and never will do a serious relationship. Bones went through a bitter divorce when his wife cheated on him and he cannot trust another woman again. Harper agrees to his terms and thinks she can do casual. As well as this Bones as the new president of Rebel Saints MC decided when he took over to make the club’s activities legal, no drugs, keeping the cartel out and no gun running, this lost him a few members who left to form their own club, Devil Riders MC,so Bones is dealing with the conflict from some of his ex-members who are trying to sell drugs on Rebel Saints patch and in the Hotel where Harper works.
A book that has lots of interest, romance, chemistry, good strong characters both female and male, a storyline beyond just the romance. Do yourself a favour and read this you won’t be able to put it down! I cannot wait until the next book
I received an ARC from the Author in return for an honest review.

I really enjoyed Bones by Lily J Adams is the first book prequel to her new Rebel Saints Motorcycle Club series. Bones is a great story and so different from the other books that I have read by Lily J. Adams. The thing that I liked best is that it was a full-length story, the other books I have read by Lily were short stories. I liked that she stayed true to herself and wrote a story that still had great characters and a plot twist that gets resolved to celebrate a happily ever after for the happy couple. I enjoy how the book is told in the first person from the perspective of the main characters. I love getting into the minds of the characters. Bones is the story Harper, casino manager of the Red Stone Hotel and Casino and Gabriel “Bones” Stone, president of the Rebel Saints Motorcycle Club and bar owner. Harper and Bones initially meet when Bones helps Harper change a flat tire on her car when she moved to Holbeck. Harper sees Bones again at the casino and is instantly attracted to this bad boy, even though she is not normally drawn to his type. When Harper stops by the bar that Bones owns to offer a job to the Rebel Saints to provide additional security at the casino. Things start to change between them after that night. Bones informs Harper that he only does casual and is not interested in a serious relationship. Bones when through an ugly divorce and is not interested in getting married again. Harper thinks she can do casual, until she realizes that she cannot. Harper decides to tell Bones her true feelings and tells him that she loves him and that changes everything. Throw in a plot twist and things change once more for Harper and Bones. I love how the epilogue details all the changes that Harper and Bones were willing to make for love. I am looking forward to reading the other books in the series. I loved the characters and the Holbeck location. Lily J. Adams did an amazing job transitioning from writing short stories to writing a full-length story with wonderful characters and a plot twist. Who doesn't love a love at first sight story?

I really enjoyed reading this book, it is the first time I am reading a book by this author, but not the last one! This book was quite different from other books that I have read. This is a nice story that takes place in the coastal town of Holbeck, it's about" The Rebel Saints Motorcycle Club" and it's members. It starts out at the "great man's" funeral. The story unravels and it lets us get to know the different brother's/ members of the club. They all meet up sharing and celebrating the life of Rider. There is also the time of big change Bones takes on the new responsibilites, and has big plans. Doing things differently. I enjoyed how the characters in the story came to life letting the reader get to know them. Along in the story you get to see some of the action and also how some of the characters show a less nice side. It shows that when you set your mind to do it differently you have to fight for your belief, no matter what it takes
Harper a woman shows up at their bar with her Golden Retreiver, she's new in Holbeck and needs help. She is new in town for a job at the Casino. Bones had hard times with his ex-wife who messes with him about the visiting of their teenage son.
This book has quite a bit of everything, betrayal, mystery and threats that could compromize the safety of people. This book was difficult to put down and I look forward to reading the rest of the books in the series. I think that they are a breath of fresh air and wanting to know what happens next. it is an easy read and well worth reading.
I am grateful to have read this book!
Thank you.

I received an advanced reader copy in exchange for an honest review.

I just could not seem to get into this book no matter how many times I attempted to read it. I have been reading more and more MC romances and I like them because of how gritty they are but this one was a bit too MC-light if that makes sense. I am on this author's arc team and the majority of her other books have been short story romances and while I like her finally releasing a full length story and in a new world at that, I am kind of on the fence about where this series is going to go.

Harper and Bones meet when Harper's car breaks down and she enters his bar to ask for help. Harper is a bit uptight and is looking for the perfect man so even though she is attracted to Bones, she doesn't intend on pursuing it. Bones has just become the President of the club and wants to take it in a new lawful direction much to the dismay of some of his fellow bikers. After meeting Harper, he is drawn to her but has sworn off relationships. Will these two be able to find a way to each other and if so will it work out?

This is a DNF for me at about halfway through and I rated it 2 stars because I don't hate it, just find it boring. Harper is a bit uptight and it was hard for me to form a connection with her or care about her story arc. Then there is Bones who is trying so hard to turn his club around but I didn't really care much about him either. I just received the next book in the series to read and am hoping it calls to me more than this one did but I can also accept that maybe it's a "it's not you, it's me" type of situation with this series. We will see.

I'm not sure if it's just my freezing mood that has caused me to not enjoy this MC book better than I did or if it was just to tuned down to reflect more on an IRL possibility.

I can actually see this taking place in a smaller town. However, right off the jump start I don't think it wise to loose the guns. It's a part of our freedoms that most bikers in these books fought for.

MC were started as a life style of the men that Americans turned there back on years ago. Just like we have homeless vets we have vets in MCs.

Do I feel that most of our military men that served their country end up in 1% clubs. No! I do feel after dating a dedicated and decorated soldier, that some do miss the Brotherhood and choose an MC life.

Just as with any life style choice all have their ups and down. Being part of a full 1% club that stands on the wrong side of the law even has their decent moments and place a stand in the sand. Just like the 99% can have their illegal moments for the good reason and cross that line in the sand.

It seems I did expect more violence from a 1% MC club turning 99%. Plus, I feel this is something that has to happen over time, not immediately.

However, having said all this... I do plan on reading the free extended epilogue. I also plan on continuing with the second installment "Smoke" to see if the author noticed it was a wee bit too safe and violence free... Not that I'm looking for violence.

Good laud... I sound like a nut case with the cray cray....

Bones by Lily J. Adams is book one in the Rebel Saints MC series. The book focuses on Bones, the President of the Rebel Saints MC and Harper a manager of a casino which is seeing issues crop up and two MC go into battle with each other. Bones has an instant attraction to Harper but isn’t looking for anything serous (which he tells her from the start). As their relationship develops and things start to get a bit more serious, emotions become confusing for both of the characters and that’s when their relationship becomes a bit more difficult.

This was a good start to a new series. We see a lot of Bones and get quite a comprehensive background to his MC. It is slightly different for a 1% club and not as gritty as some other MC stories out there, but still enjoyable. If only Bones wasn’t so rigid. I do like that he brings out a bit of a spark in Harper whose main focus for a long time is on her job (mainly due to how she was brought up).

The scenes between characters are hot and we get a front row seat to the developing emotions of their relationship. The story also has a little bit of action which keeps it flowing and it will be interesting to see how the series develops in the next book. Overall, an enjoyable read!

1. Bones thought to park a block away from the school when they broke in, but it didn’t occur to him that the school might have a janitor?
2. It’s “number of women” not “amount of women”. Sorry, not sorry; this is one of my pet peeves.
3. Harper was the manager of the casino and she was “in charge of staffing the whole casino, from the table workers to the waitstaff. Even if the MC had been hired as a private contractor, I’m sure that Harper would have been aware of who would be working and when.
4. I was impressed that Bones told Harper before they became involved $exually that he didn’t want a relationship.
5. If Harper and Bones were “only having fun” and weren’t in any kind of relationship, why would he have introduced her to his son?
6. Why would Bones have invited Harper over for a “lunch date” if he was planning on totally ignoring her to watch a football game?
7. When Bones went to Harper’s boss to talk about the drug problem in the hotel, he “filled him in the bad history between the two motorcycle clubs” and how he “knew that the Devil Riders were responsible.” What happened to not talking about club business?
8. This book was just too sweet and cheesy and the “3rd act breakup” lasted about 2.5 seconds.

Bones is the first in a the new Rebel Saints MC romance series. The story has a great storyline told from the alternating viewpoints of the main characters, Harper and Bones. Harper has recently moved to town to manage the casino. She is very work oriented and needs to learn to relax and have fun. Bones is the leader of the Rebel Saints motorcycle club .
He is trying to clean up their image and help make their town a little safer. His move to make them law abiding angers some club members, who start their own club the Devil Riders. When the Devil Riders try moving drugs in the casino, Harper hires the Rebel Saints as extra security .
There is definite heat between Harper and Bones but both are hesitant because of things in their pasts. There is also the tension between the two motorcycle clubs . This leads to a story that is hard to put down. I am looking forward to reading more in this series.
I received an ARC copy of this book and this is my honest and freely offered review.

The book was okay. There were some grammatical errors and things were repeated frequently. I wouldn't consider this an MC Romance more like men who enjoyed riding motorcycles. The author attempted to showcase the Rebel Saints club life but it fell flat. The book had some cute moments but I don't really associate MC romances with cute. Things were just sort of thrown together. For example our main character Bones shares a child with his ex wife. They have been divorced for a few years and apparently have been unable to get along so they fight and then immediately after they fight they agree to let the past go and start fresh. Another instance was when our male lead and heroine have a disagreement of sorts and then the next day he is professing his undying love. It just felt like the author through in a bunch of random scenarios and a happily ever after in the mix. No depth, or growth in any of the characters or story lines.

I absolutely loved Bones story in Lily J Adams in her new series " the Rebel Saints Motorcycle Club". It is different from her short stories that I have recently read. This is a full size story. This is Bones and Harper's story. Its more focus on the romance part of the story with some MC background. Harper is looking for some romance in her life but nothing serious yet, as she moves from Las Vegas to Mississippi to her new job as manager of a Casino. Bones is President of the Rebel Saints Motorcycle Club. He interested in Harper but he doesn't do serious relationship since his ex-wife burned him. And there is a rival club trying to invade Rebel Saints territory that Bones has to deal with. This is a stay up all night to read book. I think you will love it. Its romantic, funny with a touch of some suspense. I gave this 5 Stars.

This is the 1st in a new series and is Bones and Harper’s story. Stone / Bones is the President of the Rebel Saints, and after being burnt by his ex-wife, he is not interested in relationships. Harper is the manager of a casino, and she is looking for some romance in her life, but nothing too serious yet. Harper is drawn to the bad boy biker who is the complete opposite to what she usually goes for. The chemistry between these two is combustible and undeniable, but with a rival club causing havoc will they get a chance to be together? This is a well written flawless story which has engaging and relatable characters, and is fun, humorous, entertaining, witty, and with some suspense and danger thrown into the mix. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I recommend.

I absolutely LOVED THIS BOOK!!! I could not get enough of these two characters.. Bones is a tough sexy looking biker who is thoughtful, caring, & romantic .. Harper is a strong independent hard working woman who needs to learn how to have a little fun. I could not put this book down and can not wait to start the next innthis series.
Lily J Adams is an amazing writer , I highly recommend her books for all to read.

Bones is the president of the Rebel Saints MC and not looking for a relationship. Being hurt in the past he is only up for a good time and he knows who he would like to have that fun with..
Harper is new in town and never had much luck finding a good guy. She met Bones when she first arrived in town, she knew she should stay away from him but something about him drew her to him.

This is the first book in the Rebel Saints MC series, and what a fantastic start to the series!
While I adore all of Ms. Adams' short stories, this one being a full length novel was even more of a treat! I am new to the MC -focused books, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I enjoyed the story very much. The story had excellent character development and the story was entertaining and well-written. The storyline captured my attention right from the start and I became completely engrossed in Bones and Harper's story. They were interesting and well-developed characters and I immediately fell in love with them. The storyline flowed smoothly and the plot twists really kept me turning the pages. I am definitely going to be picking up the next book to see where this series takes us.

I received a complimentary copy from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review.

A Rebel Saint with a soft heart.
Not what you expect from a MC’s president. Or other biker. Right?

I like that Lily keep invlude in the book the preconceived ideas that people have about the bikers and how they interact with people, the MC and their business.
Becouse the TV put some cliche in our mind. And we act accordingly.

But Bones is not what you usualy expect for such a taugh guy. And his interactions with Harper are amazing! And his ideas about what he want from life are heart welming.
I love them together!

An wonderful beginning for Lily’s new series! And an 180 for what she usually write!
Good work! And good luck! ❤️

This story is amazing, engaging, captivating ,and interesting. I was hooked from the first page! I love it! Harper is a manager at a casino. She is a hard worker, smart, sweet, and dedicated. She was a little judgemental at the beginning then she grew on me. I love she doesn't back down. She is independent woman. She is caring and patience. I love her character! Bones name speak for itself. He is alpha male, smart, funny, and caring. He's been burned in the past that makes him guarded. He is a amazing father! He is down to earth. I love his character from the start. The writing was done and flows throughout the book. The words kept coming. A beautiful ending. Amazing work Lily!

Bones!

Bones by Lily Adams is the first in a new series Rebel Saints MC!

Bones was once married when his ex-wife became pregnant. After a bitter divorce, Bones does not believe in love and won’t be tied down again. Harper is a casino manager after working her way up the ladder in Las Vegas. The two cross paths when her car breaks down and she enters Bones’ MC bar, looking for help. When they begin a “no strings attached” relationship, neither one believe they will be looking for more! But as is often the case, the right person is in front of their faces, if only they’re open enough to see. I’m looking forward to the next book in this series.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Bones is Book 1 in the Rebel Saints MC series and it is a good book. Totally different from what Lily normally writes and equally different from what most people expect and think they know about MC clubs.

I enjoyed Harper and Bones’ story and can’t wait for the rest of the series. Harper is looking to date someone different from her stepdad so she doesn’t end up like her mom and Bones is not looking for love because of his past with his ex-wife. They both had their own issues to work through but it seemed they were unable to control their attraction to each other and ultimately their love for one another. I enjoyed that this was a full length story rather than the short stories Lily is known for. :)

Like oil & water they shouldn't mix but...
He was president of an MC bike club that had moved away from breaking the law. A breakaway group from his club sought out a rival club who were on the wrong side of the law & they were moving in on Bones' turf. He meets Harper, a beauty who is a manager at a casino he frequents from time to time. He saves her from a drunk groper which her boss views on security footage & tasks her to get him & a few others from his club to provide additional security. They agree & Bones can't deny his attraction & she can't resist his charms. Misunderstandings & misconceptions see her walk out the door but can they clear the air & rekindle their budding relationship?

This book is very light and easy to read for an MC romance . I recommend this for someone who is new to the trope . And to be honest, doesn't contain any cheating, all happy ending.
.
I got to be honest, while I was reading 'bones ' phrase "it's been fun" i was screaming a**hole the whole time! But I got to remember that they meet up easily and they had a conversation about it.
But to be fair , I was so happy when 'bones' starting to wallow himself and can accept the fact that he loves 'Harper'. I'm so happy for them.
.
I consider the book 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.
Very light. Hea. No cheating . Very mild steamy s*x scenes but spicy! .
If you love anything 👆🏼 I said , this is for you💋

Bones

When two head strong people meet will things fall into place for them or will more pain fill them. For Bones the betrayal he not only felt when his wife cheated on him but left him bitter and make a vow to never commit to another relationship. Well when she meets Bones by chance when her car breaks down nothing and I mean nothing compares to how fast her feelings for him occur. Always the one to have broken relationships and comparing them so she wasn’t her mother. How will these two find a way to break down these walls of theirs and realize they are meant for each other. Grab your copy and enjoy the ride. Let’s see if there’s any chance of walls falling.

(Bones & Harper): TRIGGERS: drug trafficking. Bones of the new presidency of the Rebel Saints MC after losing the previous president. He's the father to a teenager and is divorced. He's not looking for a relationship. Harriet is the manager at a casino, when Bones stops a drug deal from taking place. They try dating casually and things begin to get hot. Bones tells her at the beginning that he doesn't do relationships but when one of them falls in love, that becomes a problem. I wish there was more interaction with the club members, more deep diving into club life. Hopefully the next book will have more. The story was ok as far as the romance but not gritty enough to be an MC romance.

Great story. The story leads two people, Bones and Harper, to look beyond their own prejudices and painful pasts. There are plenty of bumps in the road. But many things ended well while leaving a lot of room for future stories. I look forward to what comes next.

Easy-to-read. Entertaining. Great world building. Happily Ever After. Haunting. Inspirational. Romantic. Scary. Steamy. Tear-jerker. Tragic. Unpredictable. Wonderful characters.

There was a lot of action in the story as well as a steamy romance between Harper and Bones that makes the pages sizzle.

There is a lot of contention between the Rebel Saints motorcycle gang who are on the legal side of the law and the rival Devil Saints who are drug users and don’t care about the law.

A romance between Harper and motorcycle rider Bones heats up as they get to know each other better and keeps the reading hot.

I enjoyed reading this book and there will be more books to come. Thanks for a great plot and interesting characters.

Bones is a story that grabbed me from the beginning and had me until the very end.
Both Bones and Harper have been unlucky in love and are not interested in going down that road again. The only problem is the attraction between the two of them that keeps pulling them together. Where there is supposed to be nothing, their actions say otherwise.

If you like MC clubs that are not as bad as they look, you will love Rebel Saints.

I cannot wait for book two.
