Yeahnnooo....no.
Miss Jasper, what are you going through? I can’t say I was more underwhelmed with this one. It’s too short to make sense for an instalove novel while using a recent political event. It just didn’t come together like it should. Cassidy seemed desperate instead of independent. As for the “alpha”, he was a forgettable character. This needed better development.

A quick read with two characters with an attraction that didn’t seem believable. I wish there was more character development to make their bond seem stronger. I usually score Jasper’s work higher, but this quickie novella didn’t entertain me as much as her other work.

I usually love this author’s stories, but this one left me with an uncomfortable feeling, hence the two stars. Using a real event where people died as a basis for a story doesn’t sit right with me

A really quick read
It was a cute story. My only issues with it is the abrupt ending and the use of "babe". I get Brace's character was supposed to be annoying but him using babe to annoy our main character was almost insufferable. Other than that it was pretty good.

Sweet
That was a quick read. Hot and steamy. She didn't want to admit how attracted she was to him. He didn't hide a thing. But when she needed him the most, he was there for her. Good story!
