3.5⭐️ Amazing spice, okay plot.

I loved their chemistry and connection! It’s not quite insta love but it’s very close. Normally I don’t care for that but I loved it here. There’s just something about a sweet, down to earth woman taking care of an injured bad boy biker. 😍

I adored the ending!

Wow! Lots of action, suspense, and surprises in this plot! Also a lot of loving and sexy men and a kickass woman. When trouble comes calling, she will protect her man, even if it scares him to death! Lots of secrets and surprises await!

This is the first time that I've read a book and all I feel is disappointment. So let me break it down for you. So the main character was like I don't do casual sex I need to develop a mental connection and emotional connection to someone before I sleep with them also the main character oh I just want him to **** me. I have read a lot of motorcycle clubs and I know that they are usually fast paced However she Kissed him within about four hours of knowing him, slept with him 12 hours with Knowing him and he proclaimed that she's the best thing to ever happen to him and how he's so in love with her in 24 hours, let that sink in. plus when he talks about how much he loves her he just talks about physical features her breasts, hips and how they fit together for sex. He mentioned her personality being fiery maybe once or twice. This couple had no kind of emotional connection and honestly it was just sex. They probably had two proper talks for the entire book. My next issue is that the main character is very intelligent and she talks about how she's so intelligent because she went vet school and at a party when Flint introduces her to his brother his brother made it very obvious that Flint was not a tattoo artist Which would make anybody suspicious but then she goes on she was like I forget after like 2 seconds like sis use your intelligent bring your bragging about and the worst part is how she acted so confused When he told the police he was an attorney and she was like you're an attorney? also the build up between the two motorcycle clubs was boring and we got no resolutions. big sigh. Also for a MC That was warring another they had no protection on her and made it obvious that she was together with Flint because they told us that they would go on bike rides with the club so for somebody like Flint who said he wants to protect her that seems so dumb to me. Also also not him trying to come and break up with her and her convincing him to stay with sex and he's like how can I ever let her go.

Thoughts - um so Flints (MMC) a bit cute 🥰, that was a bit of an unexpected treat the sweet little one liners he would give Kendra (MFC). I’ve said it before but I’ll never not tire of a ‘snowed in at a cabin in the mountains, one bed’ trope. Definitely recommend if your after a fast paced MC romance with a intelligent FMC who’s not going to be charmed with a smile 😉

Plot - Kendra’s known across the district as a wildlife vet. So when a call come in about an injured animal needing help, she doesn’t hesitate. The only problem is the animal is a member of the local MC and is one of the most handsome men she’s ever seen. Convinced to look after him for the weekend will she be able to resist his charm and manage to look after him.

I enjoyed the story, but there was so much that seemed off.

Kendra is a veterinarian who was called out in the middle of nowhere by the MC to help Flint who has been shot in the arm. Flint is a lawyer who comes home after the death of his best friend. She is called in to help the MC when he is injured and they spend a few days in solitude at a remote cabin. Kendra falls in love with Flint, and Flint is eager to see if she can be comfortable in the MC life. Of course there's the outer danger of the rival club, but the primary emotional drama is can Kendra assimilate?


Parts I had trouble with:
Now, I'm not 100% certain, but I don't know many arm wounds that are near fatal the way Flint's appeared to be.
Flint is a lawyer, but his profession is not deemed valuable to the MC. They almost treat it like he was once a police officer even though he was a defense attorney. If I was the president of an MC, I would surely want a lawyer in my pack of cards.

What I really enjoyed:
Kendra is a curvy woman. I love a good confident, curvy woman story.
Flint in a suit. Oh boy that was hot.

Fist book I have read by this author and I thoroughly enjoyed it! A wild ride between two MC’s as well as Flint and Kendra! Was hooked from the first page til the ending. Loved the characters and storyline and the fact that Kendra has curves…. Even better! Not all of us girls are stick thin, so a nice change!

It’s the whole “bad guy” and “good girl” story, although the bad guy really is a gem of a guy! Some twists and turns and ups and downs to help keep the story interesting! Looking forward to reading the next book in the series!

This book was like being dragged through a broken glass window very slowly🥴 I try not to leave negative reviews but I’ve read enough MC books that I think it’s okay now. 💀 it was probably just the writing style, but when you title the chapter for each characters POV and then not even half way through it changes to the other characters POV then it’s suddenly switches back ? Please get a better editor 😭

Great story!

I enjoyed Kendra and Flint's story. She is independent, family oriented, and has a commitment to the community and its wildlife. Flint was previously a lawyer for the lower income residents, then he returned home to his MC family. Very entertaining with twists and turns without the immature drama that accompanies many immature younger female leads.

I really enjoyed this beginning of a series, I found it on Radish and just had to snatch it up at Amazon. The story is instalove with a explosive start for Flint and Kendra. I really can't wait to read the rest of the series.
