They call him the Berserker.
The psycho with no feelings.
My older brother's best friend.
When he loses control, bodies drop.
And when he sees blood, more blood appears.
He was about to kill me too.
But he didn't.
Instead, he sought me out, telling me I calm his beast.
He made me feel like I belonged, like I was his.
Furtive glances and stolen touches, he promised me the world.
Until he finally lost control.
Until he ravaged my body and killed my soul.
Now? He wants me back.
Bad enough that he'd unleash an infernal carnage to get to me.
But how do you love someone who cannot feel love?

Morally Ambiguous is a 260,000 words full-length novel and the fourth book in the Morally Questionable Series. It is recommended to be read after Morally Blasphemous. This is a very dark book. Please check the triggers before proceeding!

DNF ~19%❗W A N T E D❗ an autopsist
/any knowledgeable in the human anatomy person willing to read this book and tell me whether all the crude details involving cutting inside of the human body described in the book were accurate or not. Please??

✨I a m o u t ✨ because all the cutting through stomachs, sticking hands into chest cavity, skinning and emptying people of their organs and mutilation b o r e d me to death.

Vlad was an adorable little cutie, though, cannot deny it. Especially when he was busy doing something other than cutting through human tissue. The moment he bought a big teddy bear for Sisi? 🥺🥺

If I'm being honest, I was really confused with the whole timeline thing because neither Vlad nor Sisi didn't think like 8-year-olds they were supposed to be in the first few chapters. Let alone bothered to act their age. The difference between a 8-year-old Vlad and a 20-30-year old Vlad will forever remain the unsolved mystery for me.

As a boy he demonstrated even more finesse, in my humble opinion:

(DON'T READ IT IF YOU'RE EASILY TRIGGERED😍)

Digestive fluid, and bits of undigested food inundate the floor. I move slightly to the right to avoid getting anything on my shoes. Vanya too scrunches her nose once the smell hits, but still, her eyes are glued to the barely recognizable pieces of food.

In other words, he had what takes to have the brilliant made man future.

The way clear, I'm suddenly curious about the inside of his throat. Grabbing some metal, I prop his jaw open so his teeth won't come clamping down on my skin. Then, folding my hand nicely around a tiny blade, I insert my arm into his mouth, feeling around the warm channel, before going down his throat. My arm is small enough that it fits down his esophagus.
His mouth is almost touching my shoulder and I give a last push before I feel the edge of the stomach. Releasing the blade from my hand, I maneuver it around and penetrate the wall from the inside, pushing until the tip of the knife reaches the surface.
The man can't even yell in pain, and it must be quite the pain because I start lifting the knife, continuing to cut through his tissue.
By the time my arm is out of his body, he's dead, his torso a bloody mess of uncoordinated cuts.
Damn!
It's not pretty. Maybe next time I'll do better.

I have no idea why his raw talent made me giggle like a schoolgirl, though. 😂😂 The guy was pure comedy.

Anyways, the writing was very erratic and to me it felt AS IF the author was a madwoman herself (which is the best compliment I've ever given, too) , because, her imagination.runs.fucking.wild.
Sis, give me a break. 🤚😭 5 minutes is all I've been asking.

When I say I love crazy ass characters I don't mean the "I speak with my dead sister's ghost on a daily basis" ☠️ brand of crazy (but I figured this out just now so 😙).
Vlad was quite a unique character, blushing in the vicinity of the girl he likes and googling 10 ideas to court a woman, while routinely murdering people left and right.
I could not make sense of his personality, no matter how unique. Or I just didn't care enough to try.

To sum it up, the disastrous experience I had with the previous book should have given me the idea this author is simply not for me. Her psycho characters and wild, stuffed with all type of batshit crazy things plotlines just don't click with me. So with a light heart I will stay away from her books from now on. 😇

if chewing on human flesh together and feasting on each other's flesh (no and i don't mean in that way) isn't the height of soulmatism and insanity then idk what is. 😭🥰 pure cannibalism, people -

well... it was NOT a disaster, the characters were amazing, the plot was a lil crazy 🤪 but in a fun way? lol so much gore and murdering and killing people that i mostly felt REALLY clinical towards, so smth must be wrong. 🥴 anyway, i mostly enjoyed lol.

i would say this tho - if the rating was based only on Vlad, this would get all the stars. 🤩 the boy was obsessed fr. and the way he was the embodiment of "i'll bring you the world" and superior groveling skills was everything. the simp energy?? the "if you hurt i hurt" between the two of them?? chef's kiss. 😌

❝I made a vow to you, Sisi. I'll lay the entire world to your feet. No one will ever look down on you again.❞
I tip her chin up, leaning forward to press a kiss on her lips.
❝From now on, everyone will bow to you.❞ I continue, watching a small tear make its way down her face.
Pressing my thumb to her skin, I wipe it away.
❝You're my goddess,❞ I murmur softly, ❝my wife, my partner,❞ I lay another kiss on her cheek, tasting fresh tears, ❝my everything. And that means we rule together.❞

negatives

✧ i'll be honest - i have no idea how an arm can go inside the stomach through the mouth and the oesophagus and not get bitten off, but that's probably just me.
the plot was all over the place, i swear. i didn't understand the flow of the story AT ALL, i swear. it was like one scene was broken into half and then suddenly something else happened out of the blue and i'm like - wtf just happened? i thought i was reading about something else?? 🤔
character inconsistencies. i mean, i'll be the first to say i adored Marcello from the second book, Morally Blasphemous, and i realise he was broody and tortured, but this was taking it too far. i don't think the Marcello from that book would've ever called his sister a whore, even if she was doing something he thought wasn't right. like wtf.

positives

✧ Sisi was amazing. Vlad was EVERYTHING. Sisi + Vlad = fire. i had zero problem with them, honestly, the progression was everything, the relationship itself was chef's kiss and if i had to choose between all the couples in this series so far, vladsisi DEFINITELY take the cake cos they have my whole heart fr.
✧ when she confessed her love for him in russian >>> 😭😭
✧ Vlad literally BEGGED to keep her safe, to keep her with him - poor boy, he'd do anything for her and i love that energy fr. 😌
✧ Vlad didn't know what love was but the way he loved her was just EVERYTHING >>>
✧ both of them had literally touched no one else before, and they were just each other's which was so cute. 🥰🥺
✧ vladsisi loved and drowned together in their madness i loved it sm omg.
✧ THE GROVELING WAS PERFECTION. okay what he did was bad but i kinda secretly enjoyed seeing the loss of control while also simultaneously being horrified for Sisi but the way he would literally bring his heart on a platter for her?? not even joking, that was just 🤌. i usually never believe in groveling scenes but here ashdjahskjdhkjhshbss i swear. ✨perfection✨ i say.
✧ they completed and complemented each other so well true soulmates 😍
✧ plus Vlad was so cute, researching ways of how to win Sisi back and woo and charm her LMAO i was gasping 🥺

okay so basically, the only reason i loved the book sm was vladsisi, they were holding the book together i swear. the characters didn't disappoint at all, they were immaculate. the rest was a little... umm, murky, but good? lol. it was ride, that's for sure.

***

omg vlad and sisi's story better deliver, is all i'm saying, after the previous book and what a disaster it was

still, if i have to suffer through it at least i'll have Huda to vent to, lol 💕

"There's no Vlad without Sisi
And no Sisi without Vlad"

This book was it for me.

I LOVED VLAD BEFORE BUT NOW I love him more then ever😭✋. Ya'll don't get my obessesion with this series. It was a perfect book to end this series, The writing was so beautifull, the spice, the pacing, the darkness, THE GROVELLING!?!?!? and THOSE PLOT twists😩!? ngl I knew it was him but still

The book is divided into 2 parts one tells the past of both of their lives, the other part is there joining and becoming one.

.The first part=
It was hard to read the first part, a bit confusing? cz the back and forth between their lives confused me, probably because I was so intrigued in reading his past and then after a chapter her past came so swiftly!

The pacing was perfect I couldn't have asked more cz Miss Veronica Lancet delivered.😩 I loved how she beautifully told their past, every thing their growth from their childhood to the beautiful, hot, sexy monster's the world had created.

Vlad: my god *starts fanning my face* he was brutal in the first part, very horrible. I was so done by the amount of details were given✋!!! How he opened every pieces inside of a man and did all those things 😂 ya'll don't wanna know believe me. It was so monstrous, the way he acted, his smile OMG I got shivers whenever he smiled like a maniac💀.

All those things he went through were things no human should go through but it's a sad reality of this world. The type of things Vlad and Vanya suffered at such a young age, someone else might be going through that now.
It's sickening, Mike I hate you so much. And your death was nothing but a gift to you😐. Yk I hated how Vlad killed him like....I wanted him to go slow

"You're my home," I tell her, sweeping her hair aside so I have access to her neck. "You're where I want to lay my head for eternity.

Assisi= Love her she's a Goddess I will protect her my whole life. Her childhood was so sad, so brutal.💔 When I read her character in the last book she was just okay. Nothing much, but I never knew that that shy girl learned to live in that place and had to go through the bullying of the other girls, it just broke my heart!!😔
But the way she stood up for herself and killed that bitch😆👌

"Lethal injection. You would be dead in minutes. Then I'd embalm your body and keep you for my eyes only"
He's talking about killing me and keeping my corpse and the only thing I'm feeling is an intense tingling in my stomach
----See I relate to her so much.😗

.The second part=

I. LOVED. IT. OMG listen their first meet was *chefs kiss*. Cz I get it she hit Vlad's ego at the right spot.

"She took one look at me and then ignored me. If that's not love at forst sight, then I don't know what is"

I loved their love it was so pure, and so romantic like c'mon

"Because our relationship was forget in blood, tested in blood and made stronger by blood."

He knows how to speak... this man knows the language of love.🔥😭 Him being in love was the most EPIC thing to watch, like imagine a monstrous villain whom everyone despise, everyone is scared of, they run in a different direction just looking at his smile.

"Why, Vlad, you might actually sound like a romantic," I poke him playfully, a little overwhelmed by emotion.
"Of course, I'm adopting romance as my new religion, with you as its goddess."

And now imagine that man on his knees in front of the girl he loves... begging for forgiveness, searching sites after sites on how to get you crush to like him-how to swoon a girl-play hard to get-😭 EXACLTY AND THEN HE BOUGHT A WHOLE ASS army of teddy bears just cz he saw that she was lingering her sight on a teddy bear when she went shoping but didn't buy it. HE BOUGHT EVERY SIZE OF BLUE TEDDY BEARS I'm so inlove with this man.

He literally gave her a heart of a bad man on a plate while grovelling.... AND THEN PEOPLE SAY LOVE ISN'T REAL.😒✋

"The Goddess of my heart"

"You made this organ do something else beside barely keeping me alive. You made it want to be alive"

Their banter was top tier😂 their dialogues were perfection. He was so funny, they managed to balance the dark and funny themes of this book, making it exiting to read!😩

But only because you sound so damn cute crying about me," she leans in to whisper.
"Sisi," I groan. "How many times do I have to tell you? I'm not cute." Because how can any self-respecting man be cute?
"You can call me anything else. Like sexy, handsome..." I pause to think, "fierce?"
"Of course," she readily agrees. Almost too readily. "You're fiercely cute".

The smut😩😩 HOT the best out of the series....it was done very...darkly😂.

The last 'war' OUCH it was so what can I say I got no words It was spectacular. I GOT WHAT I WANTED, IT WAS BRUTAL, CRY-WORTHY. Y'ALL THAT SCENE HAPPENED WHERE he was hurting...*Ehem😔💔*... and she was on her knees SCREAMING CRYING OUCH I was sobbing reading that scene it was brutally beautiful♥

"Sisi, you hurt, I hurt,
You cry, I cry"
- OUCH I CAN'T MY HEART😖

THAT last chapter Ugh my heart melted💖 seeing all of them being together like a family, laughing.😭

Negative things
Marcello 🤦‍♀️ I loved him in the second, I hated him in this. C'MON HE was supposed to get their love he was supposed to be the one and only person to believe that they love each other no matter what, cz of yk his love story.
But no THAT SCANDALOUS act he pulled in that 'war' it made me want to kill him😒. He hurt and Sisi and Vlad and I won't ever forgive him for that.

I hated Vlad's episodes it was okay, until it wasn't. He...yk did that to her🤦‍♀️. Yeah it broke my heart, I was so angry at him. But who am I to judge cz the grovelling😏😏!

♡♡♡---♡♡♡

I love love love their psycho relationship. It was so good, it made me laugh, cry, break my heart and put it back together. This series will be forever in my heart. And I'm so grateful of Veronica Lancet for creating this universe 😪❤

“He feeds my need for destruction and I feed his need for sanity”.

though i previously wrote a half assed review for this book i’m doing it again because this masterpiece deserves better🤧🙌🏼😩👀😭🤌🏼

nun with a dark side h 📿🕷️
psychotic murderer, who can’t feel pain H🗡️🗡️
forbidden relationship❤️‍🔥
H has never been attracted to anyone before😫😫
h had abandonment issues but surprisingly was strong af💅💅
H being absolutely whipped and saying the sweetest shit ever🤍
absolutely adorable first kiss🫶🏼
super JP hero AND HEROINE🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
h beating the shit out of a woman who touched the H and him getting hard😳😫
I watch with pleasure as Sisi continues to bang the woman's head on the table until blood starts pouring out of her face.
Fuck, if this doesn't make me even harder.

both of them were equally insane👀👀👀
H being afraid of hurting/dishonouring the h
Besides, he should hurry if he ever wants to have sex, since for some purely idiotic reason, he'd gotten it into his head that he's only going to sleep with me when we're married.
"It's what you deserve," he'd try to convince me, even when his cock was one thrust away from claiming me.

ngl vlad wanting to treat her as best as he can is soo cutee🤧🙌🏼💗
not them literally being relationship goals🙌🏼🙌🏼😭
them torturing people together👀😫🫶🏼
H putting fl’s needs before everyyyy thing!
spiceee🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
dirty talking H🔥🔥🔥
vlad surfing the internet for ideas to impress sisi>>>>
Women 101.
Ten ideas to court a woman.
Get her heart and keep it.
How to impress your crush.
The man's guide to women.

my heart is on the floor in a gooey puddle🤧🥲🥹
and the best part:
THE GROVELLING AFTER HE FUCKS UP!
😭🙌🏼🤧👀💗🤌🏼🥹🥲

and let me tell you the H doesn’t only fuck up he shatters the fl’s heart😬😕😶

SPOILER INCOMING

despite loving the h sm why does he break her heart?

so one thing about the ml is that he had a very traumatic past and in order to cope with it, his mind repressed the memories of the abuse due to which he would sometimes experience blackouts and would wake up to find absolute carnage all around him (obviously done by him!)
one such instance happens when he’s with the h and he wakes up to he see her under him with wounds and marks all over her body, with him inside her and is absolutely horrified
though the h wanted it but was a little hurt by the brutality of the act, and was okay knowing that H hadn’t been himself, the H couldn’t live with himself, thinking he’d raped her and worried about what he’d do to the woman he loved the next time he experienced a blackout…..
so in an attempt to save her from himself he breaks up with her the only way he knew she’d hate him forever aka he abandons her (remember when i told you the h had abandonment issues, this was basically her worst nightmare)

however upon leaving she finds out she’s pregnant, and to make sure the child is cared for and not named a bastard, proposes a marriage of convenience to her recent bff, Raf (who btw is such a sweetheart💗💗)
however as the wedding approaches, she undergoes a miscarriage which leaves her heartbroken but still decides to carry on with the wedding

it is upon hearing about the h’s wedding that vlad loses his composure and says fuck it and gets his girl back…….

SPOILER ENDED

one of my favourite things after vlad screws up and brings the h back was the false omd:
sisi making vlad think she went ahead and fucked someone else and vlad quite literally losing it was satisfying af🤧👀🫶🏼
Not only can I not imagine someone else seeing her naked, or touching her. But another man inside her? Bringing her pleasure? Taking my place?
"Fuck," I punch myself even harder.
Why does it seem like there's a dearth of oxygen in the room? Or is it that my lungs can no longer process it?
Because the more I think of Sisi—my Sisi—even in the same room as another man, I want to go crazy. But to think of her fucking someone else?
The pain is so unbearable, I can't even stand upright.

or maybe i just have sadistic tendencies lol who knows😬😭🙌🏼🤷🏻‍♀️✨

oh and this scene🤍
If I can't give her my own heart, I'll just give her the next best thing.
But what if she asks for mine?
What if she's not satisfied with a substitute? I mean, I'm sure I could get a heart transplant... Yes, that would work. I'd be alive to see her reaction, and she'd still get my heart.
Win-win.

holyy shit this guy😭😭😭😭

vlad being a simp for sisi 💌💌💌

There's absolutely nothing I wouldn't do for her, and that includes mass murder. And genocide. And even nuclear war.
Is there something worse than nuclear war?  Probably stealing candy from a child. And I would have done that too!
But now she hates me... Not that I blame her, since she has every right to hate me. But I don't know how to fix it.

Instead, I'm just lusting after her like a schoolboy with his first crush.
Ok, maybe I am the equivalent of a schoolboy with his first crush, but I need to put a damper on my growing infatuation with her lest it ruin my plans.

"You're very pretty when you eat." I compliment her, a small smile tugging at my lips.  Her hand stills midair as she's about to bite into a chicken wing.
"Not that you're not pretty every day. In fact, you're pretty every moment," I continue, afraid I somehow blundered it.  She tilts her head to the side, still watching me.
"Beautiful, not pretty," I amend.
Damn it, I forgot that women care about particularities.

"I never even knew I was capable of love until you, Sisi," he starts, "I've always been a selfish, self-serving bastard. Until you. I never cared about human life, never gave a damn about who I killed. Until you. I've never cared about anyone's happiness before, mostly going out of my way to cause unhappiness. Until you. And I certainly never cared about pleasing anyone before," he releases a harsh breath, "until you."

I have no idea what spell she's cast on me, the way my body reacts only to her, but I'm not complaining.
She fucking owns me!

"And you're mine too," I continue, needing that confirmation. "Yours?" He asks, almost offended. "There's no me without you, hell girl.
You fucking own every piece of me," he grits out.
"My mind," thrust, "my heart," thrust "my fucking damned soul," thrust, "this cock," he says, pulling out all the way as he slaps his length against my clit before stroking it along the seam of my pussy lips, "that's never been inside another, that will never be inside another," he growls, "just like your pussy's only mine and will only ever be mine."

I was made to worship this woman.
There's no doubt about it. Not when my knees tremble slightly, already seeking to kneel in front of her and give her the respect she deserves.
She's the only thing in the entire universe that could bring me to my knees, and oh, but I'd gladly fall. For a taste of her, I'd do more than that. I'd prostate myself at her feet.

bonus:
Marcello looks at Lina as if the world begins and ends with her, a tenderness so unlike the man I'd gotten to know. And Lina doesn't seem immune either, if her blushes are any indication.
awww i love them so much😫🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

Yes, I've finally updated this review 🤣
OTT obsessed hero who kills and disembowels people but is soft as a marshmallow for heroine?
The book is very dark and there are some disturbing scenes I decided to skip.
But their relationship? GOALS
The hero is a loner with a genius IQ, on the autism spectrum, and he is very bad at social interactions. (Did I mention he was a Death Note fan? 🤩🤩)
The heroine is a nun with a dark side and a fascination for the morbid.
And together they are a little chaotic.

I'll leave some quotes here (as promised 😜) since I can't do justice to their cute dynamic.

"You're insane," she croaks, her lower lip trembling from too much laughter.
"Me? You're the one who tried to eat a piece of my prisoner!" I jokingly accuse.
"Well, don't leave them lying around. Besides, isn't it good manners to offer food to guests?"

Would my victims even fear me anymore if they knew I spend hours picking out women's clothes? Or that I now know there are different shades of blue? I must have memorized the entire color palette in my search for something Sisi would love.

Hell, I know her entire search history by heart. I even know that my sinful nun has been reading naughty books, and she's clearly been taking notes to please me. Not that I'm one to talk, since I've been doing the same.

"You're mine, Sisi. You go where I go, in hell or beyond." I feel him smile against my skin. "Dead or alive," he says and chills spread across my skin, "even if I have to kill you myself."

"If you want your dick to remain where it is—attached to your body," I lean into him, my fingers brushing against the front of his pants as I grab him, "you better be deaf and blind to anything that goes there."
"Damn it Sisi," he breathes harshly, maneuvering me on top of him, "how can I bear to leave you alone when you say something like that?" he nuzzles his face in my hair, "you know I love it when you threaten me."

"The murder has already occurred." I mention, trying to steer the conversation to a more serious order of business. "We need to do the clean-up."
"Doesn't matter, it involves a body. A dead body," he continues, twirling his tongue around my cheek, "you know I love it when you talk corpse to me."

STORY:
What a ride. It takes the path of MB, 2 parallel roads before merging into 1, and once merge, a crazy and tantalizing chemistry. As this series continues to grow, It would be amazing to have a MQ tree graph showing all the couples thus far and their children or if not, how they are connected. Also, reading MA, parts 1 and 2, it’s almost like reading MB but from Vlad’s and Sisi’s POV. It’s filling in all the questions we had that now makes sense, because let’s admit it, Sisi was acting weird as hell in MB. Although for me MB felt dark Gothic mafia, I did not get mafia from MA, even though there are scenes that overlap. Nonetheless, it was still dark with a plot that kept my interest.

PART 1 (The Past)
The moment this book starts, you are seeing and witnessing the birth of twisted asf psycho that is, Vlad. Part 1 opens with Vlad’s and Assisi’s childhood and transitions onwards to young adults. Although part 1 details different stages of their youths, it was still a bit bloody. Vlad is no joke. Assisi does not have the best upbringing in the nunnery. Some scenes here overlap with MB with Lina aka Catalina and her daughter Claudia.

PART 2
Won’t even lie, I got so giddy at their first meeting/interaction. This is out of anticipation because I couldn’t wait to see dark/twisted mixed with innocence. Part 2 definitely shows the start of Vlad’s and Sisi’s relationship and takes us through their relationship in the early stages. It hits its peak and declines within a moment. This couple to me is like the joker and harlequin, but honestly as the story keeps progressing, Vlad was giving me Hulk vibes. The definition of their relationship, Sisi said it best.

“He feeds my need for destruction and I feed his need for sanity”.

As Vlad keeps developing, what I liked is that Vlad knew he has an issue. He isn’t all the way right upstairs, but I feel bad because I like it. It’s giving me a good read. Although Vlad is dark and twisted, his weird sense of humor always makes me smile, especially when directed at Marcello. We also see Sisi developing while still navigating being outside the nunnery as well. To note, part 2 also overlaps with MB and the ending of MD. Vlad’s and Sisi’s presence was not heavily done in MD, however, the ending very much related to the ending of part 2 in MA.

PART 3
So the ending of part 2, saw the decline in Vlad’s and Sisi’s relationship. So part 3 starts with the intensity of both characters. His constant need and co-dependency on Sisi was unhealthy but reads so good. Part 3 does not overlap with any other book in the MQ series. This part of the book was telling as we saw more of Vlad’s past revealed as well as saw a lot of characters popping up. The climax of the story was good and felt invested in the story unfolding.

SEXUAL CHEMISTRY:
So definitely I will say the author herself has evolved with her sex scenes. By far, MA has the best scenes compared to all the books in the MQ series that I have read. What can I say, crazy on crazy is good. Of course, it can get dark and had non con. So still can be trigger for some as it could become aggressive at times.

SECONDARY CHARACTERS
So many characters, lovable characters at that. They all brought to the story it was exciting seeing the couples again. I just think they are all bad a**.

Bianca and Adrian are from MC

Marcello/Lina/Claudia & Venezia are from MB.

Enzo and Allegra are from MD

There were other characters, but don’t want to go in-depth to prevent spoilers.

OVERALL
Like my last review for MD, you have to be a fan of this series and be patient. I personally love the storytelling. I know as a reader, the excitement is so great you may not want to read the previous books and dive right in, however, you have to read at least MB to better understand this book as well as the flow of the storyline because it is truly entwined. This book is very long, so be prepared. I enjoyed it in one sitting and not having to wait for the conclusion.

If you got to this section of my review, thanks. Sorry!!!!!!!!! I know it’s long. I really did try to keep it short. Lol.

✰✰TRIGGERS: graphic kill scenes, Religion, child sexual assault, non con, blood with graphic death scenes etc..

****I don’t equate these stories to real life. It’s about personal taste and what you would or want to tolerate with the books you read. I know we all have different opinions and preferences with what we read. I based my book reviews on my preferences and what I like, and while these preferences may not be the same for others, I hope this review was still helpful.

— I can't believe I read a book of a total of 700 pages? I need an award, for crying out loud! It's the longest book I've ever read 💀

I've been cheated! I was FORCED to read the previous book (Morally Blasphemous), and I skipped the others because why not! So I'VE BEEN FOOLED, AND THE AUTHOR LITERALLY MADE ME READ THAT BOOK. While I understand some of the events because they overlapped with that book, it doesn't change the fact that it was pretty useless for me! I just got to know the characters, but okay, fine! I did learn a little about Assisi and Vlad there! THAT BOOK WAS WHOLE ASS TRAUMATIZING, AND IT WAS SO DARK THAT I THOUGHT THIS ONE WOULD BE THE SAME?!? My bad, it wasn't.

╰┈➤ VLAD KOZNETSOV:

He's the cutest, mushiest, softest, adorable, PSYCHO cold-blooded killer ever! 🥺 GOSH, I LOVE HIM, PLEASE? His POVs were too funny, and I don't think an 8-year-old thinks like how he did 💀 but all this inner monologue was really funny, and I loved and enjoyed that! Throughout the story, it's told he has a dangerous aura or what were they saying, COLDNESS BLANKNESS in him 🫤 besides that he was pretty cute! 😂

I literally thought I'd get gruesome details about everything like in the 2nd book, and for fuck's sake, this book was not like that! and I actually got to enjoy it! Everyone was super scared of Vlad since he was 8 years old because he was apparently a psycho with no emotions, and he had a blood thirst! He would kill anyone within his vicinity. But over the years, he adapted a jokester persona which was quite funny and made his character one of my favorites! 😭

He had been talking to her dead twin sister since he was 7, and I literally got chills when he found out that his sister was dead, and he had been imagining her! That's when he started having episodes where he snaps, kills everyone, and blacks out! No one is saved...

╰┈➤ Assisi Lastra:

She's the most unholy and sexy almost-nun you'll ever read! She was just one step behind in being a serial killer because the girl had a lot of darkness inside her 😂
* Almost nun ✅
* Likes to kill ✅
* Possessive as fuck. Bangs a girl's head on a table repeatedly because she touched Vlad ✅
* Stabbed her brother for Vlad ✅
* Had Vlad on his knees ✅

Without her super bad childhood, this girl had everything that I wanted, please? Her man? 🥹 I'd kill to have him.
Assisi was literally the purest and kindest person ever, and she lived her entire life in a convent because her parents abandoned her. She was always bullied and insulted there and faced so many hardships! Her character development was amazing. 💗 She went from being a girl being bullied to killing each and everyone without remorse. 👏🏻 I loved how she killed her bully Cressida and all the nuns who never supported her. 💪🏻 She was so broken and I sobbed because she always wanted someone to love her! She had to spend her birthdays alone wishing:

I want to be someone's everything... Someone's reason for being.

PART I

I was literally dead 💀 when Sisi received spam messages on her phone from an unknown number, and because she was lonely, she replied to it, and soon they started talking. 😭 I wondered why it was never mentioned again! The messages were so funny and Vlad was hell bent on Sisi to click the DAMN LINK but she knew it was scam! 😂😂

Congratulations! You've won two gallons of holy water from Jerusalem. Follow the link to redeem the prize.

Vlad was trying to hack her phone, but soon they started talking a little until Sisi had to leave the convent and went to live with Marcello! Vlad approached Sisi because when they met for the first time, he didn't see his dead sister, and she just disappeared, so he thought Sisi could help with his episodes! The time Sisi and Vlad shared in this first part is a dream! 😭
He told her he'd help her enjoy and fit into the outside world, and in return, she would just be with him! Plssssss, the whole time had me giggling, screaming, and bawling because I was dying to get VLAD for myself! 🥲

"Christ, she might still make a believer out of me."

Vlad was super obsessed with her from the start and was lusting so bad after her body! Assisi had the same thoughts too! 🤷🏻‍♀️

* He bought a giant blue teddy bear for her because she was staring at it in the store.
* Took her to eat a burger while placing her hand on the crook of his elbow.
* Kissed her fingertips again and again.
* Went for a picnic with her and went swimming with her.
* Got her matching T-shirts.
* Arranged a birthday dinner for her with 100 candles and 100 roses for her and the giant teddy!

You know, I couldn't stop writing about how obsessed he was because he started to search sites because she was mad at him! Read books on women's psychology... 😭

Whatever they shared during that time was amazing, but Vlad was scared that he'd do something to Sisi because of his episodes! He could hurt her, and THAT'S WHAT HE DID.
In one moment, he took her virginity and had sex with her brutally, but Sisi still forgave him because she knew it was not in his control, but VLAD HAD TO RUIN EVERYTHING AND PULL UP JOSH CHEN. 😐
He yelled at her, mocked her, made fun of how he used her, and while she was physically hurt badly, he mentally destroyed her! 😶

I dislike what Vlad did, but he was so guilty and remorseful after seeing her in that state that he even left her because he couldn't bear to hurt her! He had always expressed his desire to marry her and wanted to take her virginity after marriage.

Fast forward to 3 months later, Vlad went to Peru to seek help for his episodes and become a better man for Sisi! SISI 💔💔💔 suffered a miscarriage at that time, and now she's about to marry Rafaello (behebe, I can't wait to read this story). But obviously, true to his words, Vlad kidnapped Sisi 😂 I WAS SO EXCITED, WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME!

PART II

You must expect Vlad to be on his knees, but he fucking threatened to explode her entire family 🤣💀🤷🏻‍♀️ if she didn't marry him! And he was actually being an ass on the first day, but thank god he came to his senses the next day and realized that's not how he's going to win her again!

Sisi is an epitome of a strong and savage person! I was literally cheering her on when she lied to Vlad that she had been with other people and didn't give in to him!
Walk 'em like a dog, sis, walk 'em like a dog.

GROVELING WAS THE MAIN HIGHLIGHT OF THIS BOOK BECAUSE IT WAS SO FREAKING GOOOODDDDD UGHHH 😭😭😭😭

🧸 He bought her 100 teddy bears (she ripped them apart)
🧸 He bought her so many chocolates (she ignored them and walked away)
🧸 He was under so much pressure when she asked him to cook her breakfast!
🧸 He searched multiple websites on how to impress your crush, court a woman 😂
🧸 HE SERVED HER A REAL HEART ON A SILVER PLATTER 😭😭😭 and carved <3 on it! PLS I DIED LAUGHINGGG. (Sisi did too!)
🧸 And he even booked himself for a heart transplant in case she asks for his own heart!

God, the groveling was so good, and I loved how Sisi did not give in quickly, and it took him begging on his knees for forgiveness and words of affirmation! What happened was really heartwarming, cute, and it shows how much of a cutie Vlad is! 💕

"I'd never wanted something for myself, never craved anything like I did her."

"I never wanted to cause her pain."

"I wish I were normal, then I'd be able to love you too."

— NOW THE MAIN PLOT:

I loved their relationship, but it was more than that! Vlad's sister, VANYA, was dead, but Vlad survived, and his sister Katya was abducted too, so he promised that he'd avenge his sister Vanya! The relationship between Vanya and Vlad was so pure and good, and they both shared such a strong bond, and I can see how Vlad could give and sacrifice anything in the world for Vanya because she was the only one who saw him! 😭💔 It was so sad when I got to know she was just a figment of imagination!
Up till page 500, the story had me so excited and interested, but the last 200 pages were all about revenge sex and super-duper lovey-dovey conversations between Assisi and Vlad that I HAD TO FUCKING SKIP! 😗

It was the longest book, and I just survived, so bonus points, but whatever! Now, it was told greatly how they took revenge, and I'm happy Vlad found Katya and took revenge! 👏🏻 The character development for both of them was amazing, and they got their happy ending! 🥹

I hated Marcello in this book; I mean, I don't have anything for him because he was super boring in his own book, and I don't know, his book was so bad that I still don't like it or him or Catalina! I liked how Assisi stabbed him at the end because he was not letting her go!

Michele Guerra DUUUDDDEEE, WHY ARE YOU SO MUCH WORSE IN THIS SERIES! 😭😭😭 I can't help but wait for all his books to get released, and he's here doing super fucked up and worse shit!

— Salome and Nero ehehhehe had me intrigued! 🤷🏻‍♀️😍

Overall, this book does have dark scenes, and I mean really dark, but I guess morally blasphemous prepared me, and that book was so fucking bad and dark! I loved this one! 💗 Please do check the trigger warnings because Assisi and Vlad were super messy and .... 😗

I'm back with one of my most anticipating books!! 😎

I was so intrigued with Vlad from the first book i've read so i couldn't wait to read his and Asisi's story.🥺
First i need to say that this is a dark DARK romance. Please read the triggers first bc even i who normally don't have a problem reading about disgusting things skipped some of the scenes bc they were so disturbing.

This is a story about Asisi,Marcello's sister from the previous book. She was raised in a convent about to become a nun. If you read the previous book you know that there was a murder in the convent and that's when Vlad meets her and becomes extremely obsessed and intriged by her when she stucks her hand in the murdered nun chest cavity.

"I don't even think as I stick my hand into her chest cavity, squinting to get a better look as my fingers move around."

"Her reaction to the mutilated nun had been simply astonishing. "

Vlad is a very complicated character. He has some sort of genetic defect and he can't feel things. He thinks he can't feel love, he can't feel pain and he is a killing machine. He literally has this episodes where he goes on a killing spree and mutilates bodies.

"Gathering his long blade, he stalks his next prey, cutting the man at the waist in such a smooth line, the torso immediately becomes separated from the lower part of the body, organs spilling out on the floor.
Vlad's laughter fills the room as he smears his face with the blood and entrails of the dead man.
I guess he wasn't kidding that he bathes in entrails."

Honestly for such a deranged character Vlad was so sweet and precious. 🥺 I loved how taken he was with Sisi from the moment he saw her and didn't know how to cope with his feelings and what was happening to him.

"I'll never let her go.
She's saddled with me now, and I'm such a possessive bastard that no other man will ever even graze her hand. "

"You're my home," I tell her, sweeping her hair aside so I have access to her neck. "You're where I want to lay my head for eternity.

Their relationship reminded me so much of Joker and Harley Quinn.😂 i loved how deprived they both were and also they were both inexperienced, first kiss, first sex, loved how they grew together.

"He didn't even know how to talk with a woman before I came along.
"Really, hell girl? You have to reveal all my secrets?"It's true," I shrug. "You didn't even know how to kiss," I add, winking at him.

Then one unfortunate scene happened (non con) which was painful to read gotta say but i get that it was for Vlad development.

And then him realizing that he can't live without her and tries to win her back was one of the funniest things!! 😂 He went and killed a guy, carved out his heart, wrote her name in it, cooked it and put it on a silver platter as a love devotion!! They even ate a few pieces...👀

Ahhh don't you just want to find a guy who would go this far for you?😂

"After perusing several articles, I've decided to heed their advice since they all seem to recommend the same thing—play hard to get."

At least he triedd, he really had an emotional intelligence of a toddler as Marcello liked to point out.😂

"I didn't know you could cook." Sisi notes from behind, still watching me intently.
I didn't know either.
"Piece of cake," I beam at her, even though inside I'm sweating at the thought of doing this all wrong.
It's just eggs! How hard can it be?"

😂😂😂 Vlad was so funny and one of things i loved about this book was the balance between dark and funny. Yes there were awful things but at the same time their banter was everythingg and their conversations were hilarious.

"Why, Vlad, you might actually sound like a romantic," I poke him playfully, a little overwhelmed by emotion.
"Of course, I'm adopting romance as my new religion, with you as its goddess."

"But only because you sound so damn cute crying about me," she leans in to whisper.

He even cried when she cried, i can.not.handle this!!😭

"Sisi," you hurt, I hurt," I bring her hand to my heart, pressing it to my chest so she can feel that semi-useless organ that beats only for her. "You cry, I cry. We're a team."

Of course his wedding gift to her was cutting out a piece of flesh from himself, cooking it for her to eat it😂

"Vlad's piece is done, while mine is quickly cooking on the hot grill. When we have both a piece of each other in our hands, we look into each other's eyes, slowly bringing the morsel to our mouths."

Wedding cake whoo??!😂😂😂

I loved their psycho relationship!🥺

This was a loooong book with 800+ pages and I inhaled it so fasttt.
There was a lott going on but i don't want to spoil anything, just that it was full of blood spilling, guts bathing, lots of action and some situations were a little ott or far fetched and felt like i was watching mrs and ms smith.😂
Lots of fun, tears, one of the best character developments and i'm so excited about what's next!
P.S. I want books about their assassin academy so bad, pls pls pls!!!

You made me warm, Sisi," he pushes my hands over his heart. "You made this goddamn organ do something else besides barely keeping me alive.
"Remember, there's no Vlad without Sisi."

There's so much to unpack here, and I think in this series, this is the one that packs the most punch. I don't even know how to review this, tbh. 🥲 It surely gave me a roller coaster of emotions that I didn't know I had in me to handle.

All I can say is that the journey Vlad (31) and Sisi (21) went through wasn't an easy feat. They had a lot of bumps along the way and their own demons to face.

Also the fact that they've gone their separate ways for quite some time but still found their way back to each other was just heartbreaking but also healing at the same time. Ngl, it did piss me off, but since something good came out of it, I won't hold it against Vlad too much.

I'm just glad that they had each other's backs and that both of them were on this journey together. Also, looking back at it, I'm honestly more than satisfied that they finally found closure with their issues and were able to move past them.

While this is the goriest in this series because it contains way too many scenes involving blood, chopping off body parts, and never-ending trigger warnings (imo), I ended up loving it more than I hoped for. Story-wise, this is my favorite, but character-wise, that will be Bianca (hands down).

Anyway, I just love Vlad and Sisi's story. And I can't wait to see them in the books of the other characters in this fictional world. 🤭

Words cannot describe how much I adored this book it’s one I was really looking forward to Vlad has always intrigued me and as an added bonus it was super long twice the size of the previous ones in this series which was definitely a lovely surprise. It also comes with a long disclaimer on trigger warnings so do heed them as the material covered here is quite dark and twisted.

So this was Vlad and Sisi’s story and despite the fact that Sisi has grown up cloistered in Sacre Coeur her upbringing has not been easy. A target for the other children there and even the nuns themselves. Through her many trials Sisi has learnt to rise up and take control she’s no one’s victim and proves herself more than a match for Vlad and once these two connect it’s obvious she’s his match in every way that counts. her brand of normal complimenting Vlads volatile insanity and for the first time in his life, someone is prepared to look beyond the outward mask and wants to know the man within.

Sisi accepts Vlad in his entirety a first for him. The only person to ever do this was his sister a ghost that still haunts him to this day. Vlad's past is a blank slate his mind wiped clean of events before his eighth birthday. Whatever occurred in his childhood has caused a crack in his psyche and his trigger is blood. His moniker of berserker is totally deserved and when Vlad loses himself to one of his episodes no one is walking away alive it’s a total blood bath more so than his usual and he’s definitely not in control of his actions or even his own mind when this occurs. He’s also on a mission of revenge to bring down the monsters of his past to try and find some sort of closure and to rescue his last remaining sister Katya who has been missing for years.

Despite never having an interest in the opposite sex Sisi fascinates him. Initially, because she quiets his demons and brings him peace and then just because she’s Sisi and nobody else can compare but he’s also terrified of harming her when in one of his episodes and for the first time ever Vlad attempts to put someone before his own self. Living for years without normal emotions Vlad finds himself confused with what he is now experiencing not understanding the depth and validity of his affections and when everything implodes all he wants is Sisi’s forgiveness but totally out of his depth he has no idea how to achieve this.

Vlad trying to romance Sisi to win back her regard was too cute he was adorable In all his confusion taking advice from the internet and constantly mucking things up he was also so unintentionally funny but at the same time though his actions were extreme they were all Vlad with his definite personal touch. His mind doesn’t work the same as others that’s for sure but luckily Sisi likes Vlads style of romance no matter how strange and unusual it may be. These two are definitely one of a kind cut from the same clothe that’s for sure.

This was hot and obsessive and all in. The chemistry was explosive and the story arc interesting. It’s definitely my favourite of the series so far. I felt for Vlad so much before Sisi he was literally an island alone and apart and you could tell it impacted him despite his jovial mask. The individuals in this story are definitely unusual in their tastes and actions there not good but there not all bad either. Vlad would literally destroy the world for his love as would she. What Sisi wants Vlad provides her hurt his hurt and her happiness also his.

This is definitely unconventional and all sorts of messed up but I adored it all the same.
As they both proclaimed here there is no Vlad without Sisi or Sisi without Vlad these two definitely were the real deal in all their psychotic glory. This isn’t going to be for everyone that’s for sure but I loved them and I totally recommend this one but only if your not put off by blood and gore as this one certainly has a lot of that.

Darkest book I’ve read, and some scenes made me cry. (The ones with child abuse)

The cringiest thing about this book is reading stupid reviewers bitching about how very dark this book is, then giving this book 1 star because it’s very dark…. when the book opens with a big ass trigger section telling you “exactly” what kind of very dark theme is in this book.

Here are the triggers. If you can’t handle it, avoid this book. For safety gang, there is no cheating. The H and h are both virgins.

TRIGGER WARNINGS: animal abuse, blood (gore), blood play, cannibalism, consensual non-consent, death, derogatory terms, descriptive child abuse, descriptive rape, drugs, guns, extreme graphic violence, extreme graphic sexual situations, extreme depictions of torture, grooming, kidnapping, knife play, miscarriage, murder, non-con/dubcon, primal play, self-harm, substance abuse, suicide, uncomfortable religious situations.

Cons;
- The book is 700+pages long. I don’t mind big books, but some parts seriously dragged, so I did skim a bunch towards the end.

- terrible love scenes. They’re boring, cheesy and dragged out with too much for-play. Spoiler
See the page count above? They don’t actually consummate until 70% into the book, and when they do finally have consensual intercourse, it’s clinical and not sexy, because the h is a rape victim and is scared of sex.🙄. Talk about a buzzkill. So expect to sit through 400+ pages full of boring oral sex and kissing.

My fav thing about this authors work is the way she does her character development. By the time the MCs meet, you feel like you know them like a real person, so she had all of my emotions involved in their story.
Author truly did an astonishing job developing her characters.

I really enjoyed this. Vlad and Sisi were both so messed up but truthfully there was also something really likeable about both of them. The author did warn that that this book was her darkest yet and that’s definitely true. I actually had to skip some violent bits because it was too much for me! I am really enjoying this series and I honestly can’t wait for the next one!

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is Vlad and Sisi‘s story, and OMG, I‘ve been anticipating it for so long! Veronica pays great attention to detail in her world-building, something I dearly appreciate. She poured her soul into this book. These cute psychos were everything. Please, don‘t read this if you‘re easily offended. This book is hard to stomach. Unconventional. Insane. Full of lunatics. But damn, what a book! Please, be aware of that. Read Veronica‘s trigger warning very carefully. This is the culmination of the series, and if you thought the previous books were gaga, Vlad and Sisi double down on that. Thank you for my advanced copy. This is my honest review! If you want to take a dive into darkness, read MA. I‘m sure you have never read anything like it before.

"I'm your killing machine. So use me. Kill everyone you want. You say the word, and their heads drop. It's that easy."

whoa 🩸 this so was bloody but so fucking awesome

he offered her his heart 😭

and that steam 🥵🥵

"There's no me without you, hell girl. You fucking own every piece of me," he grits out. "My mind," thrust, "my heart," thrust "my fucking damned soul," thrust, "this cock," he says, pulling out all the way as he slaps his length against my clit before stroking it along the seam of my pussy lips, "that's never been inside another, that will never be inside another," he growls, "just like your pussy's only mine and will only ever be mine."

I LOVED THIS BOOK!!

5+++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I'm so sad i finished it, i could've read about this two for ever *-*
I have so many things to say about it, that i don't even know where to start.
This book is the best book i read in a really ,really long time, it's for sure in my top 5 lol.
It's a master piece.
It was insanely long and i have to thank the author that she gave us this gift, to know ALL about Vlad and not in a rushed way. We get all off him, and i'm truly thankful of that.

Vlad bless his soul..he is the most precious and awesome H i read in a long time.
He stole the scene in each book of this series everytime! he is funny as hell, he is insane as hell, he is the best ever! I want my Vlad too ...*pout* yep...i'm in love with him too. He has a innocence in him that breaks my soul;mind you he is not a good man by any means. He is just how they built him up to be. The facr that he has no feelings other than love for Sissi it's the best thing ever.

I thought that no book will be better than the first one, but if i could give this book more than 5 stars i would! This one topped all i ever thought that Vlad book will be, and damn, it was wayyy better than i could've think off.

My heart broke for little Vlad, and for adult Vlad all the way.
Sissi completed him so amazingly ,they are the perfect match.
They are perfect for each others and i never hated a thing about them in the whole book.

The book is perfectly divided and in order with the first part of chapters of their past, then up to how they meet

This book has one of the best slow burn built up i read in a long time, i loved how they meet, i loved how they get to know each others, i loved their built up, i loved how they fall in love.
It was so pure and genuine.

Random thoughts and notes i wrote down while reading...mind you, i wished i noted more but i couldn't put down this book i devoured it:

- all the Vanya thing??him seeing her etc? jeez i wanted to cry for poor Vlad he was so lonely :(

-the damn teddy bear...this assassin is the sweetest ever.

-he blushes and learns how to approach a girl googling about it and joining forums ..like...sweet cute deadly Vlad you stole and freaking melted my heart. Fuck

-I pouted and teared up lots of time ,again, Vlad...you are..jeez i'm a goner, he is so sweet,devoted,loyal,honest,adoring...and at the same time?a fierce and deadly killer.

-best intimacy in the whole series is between those too!!!!!!! YESSS

-Yes there were many many parts of this book i skipped while we had bloody baths scenes or other gross scenes full of triggers..but without this there would be no Vlad. It is indeed a dark book

- there was a scene where Vlad pinky promised....gahhh , i can't *-*

-heart on a tray?? ahhhh Vlad *-* he literally wished to give his heart tho. Mannnn

Now a few things i disliked BUT i didn't care to much over all because, everything else topped them more than everything i needed and wished from this book.

-lots of gross scenes
-i think that
-the
-to much blood and cannibalism
-think all of the triggers you can think of and they are here.
-hey i needed asap
-i didn't like the Raf parts ...BUT i can accept it...kind of xD
-i needed more about Katya but maybe we will know in the next book.
-BAD Marcello. in the end i wanted to hurt him xD

I wish i toke down more phrases i loved from it but considerate that it's a 700+ pages and i was to immersed in it to stop...but i have a few one's almost to the ending that melted me,and it kind of consist of everything this book is about :

Vlad:There's no Vlad without Sissi and no Sissi without Vlad

Vlad:i can't say that i'm straight ,i'm ASSIED bye *-*

Vlad : You hurt , i hurt. You cry,i cry. We are a team

Vlad finding out that Raf went missing (after he promised to Sissi that he will not kill him) : <<Sissi elbows me and i raise a eyebrow at her
-- i might be at her back and call but that doesn't mean i can't be gleeful because a thorn in my side--a thorn i couldn't myself pull--has suddenly disappeared. So i just shrug with a smile on my face
>>

Vlad: I'm a simple man.
I only have two defaul settings--killing and Sissi.
And when the latter is activated you can damned well bet ill be useless for anything other than her

I need to stop. But yeah i loved all this freaking book with the good and the bad.
I never thought that i will get so much of Vlad as i wished but the author delivered him all the way *-*
They are perfect and i'm sure no one can top them.
Next book is about Nero...i'm curious about him and mostly her. Hopefully will be a good one.

From this series i put in order my favorite's

BEST of the Best... This one
2nd best Bianca's and Adrian's
3rd Marcello and Catalina
4th Enzo and Allegra.

5 STARS⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

If I could give this a million stars I would!!
But I would definitely only recommend it to someone who REALLY likes dark, twisted romance. This is about as dark and gory as it can get. The entire book is filled with extremely descriptive murder/mutilation scenes as the H is a cold blooded murder machine who thrives on killing. There are multiple hard scenes to read -describing the horrible and disgusting things he had to endure as a child. Even I had to skip past a few paragraphs as they just hurt too much to read. Sisi (the h) also had a troubling childhood and was severely bullied and abused.

But still i've NEVER loved a heroine as much as Sisi. Her character development was so amazing, she grew from a quiet child into a strong and courageous adult. She was always to some extent depraved and open minded, but once she met Vlad (H), she let go of all of her inhibitions and embraced all the crazy and disturbed parts of herself, yet still remaining calm and level headed. It all made sense in her mind😂. I loved how she and Vlad just instantly connected and made each other feel whole and complete. His instability and absolutely psychopathic behaviour was leashed whenever he was around Sisi, as she became his anchor to the world.

Now now...Vlad might just be my favourite H of all time. Its absolutely breathtaking and emotional to see how Vlad, a man with *zero* emotions, remorse or even ability to feel pain- opens up for Sisi when he has never been interested in getting to know anyone else. He honestly loves her and tries to satisfy her, with his limited knowledge of how women work. Her light draws him to her, but at the same time she has a hidden, depraved side of herself that elevates her to be Vlad's equall. She shares the same morbid fascination about blood and murder as him and isn't afraid to get down and dirty🥵

The best part is that Vlad is a virgin (so is Sisi) and has never even been tempted to look at another woman, but one look from Sisi will have him dropping his pants and running😳 He is so utterly obsessed with her, that he doesn't believe a life without her is worth living. She becomes his everything. Everything he does is for her and he can't function when she is not beside him all the time.

Not many books are on my favourites of all time, but this is definitely on that list. However, just about every possible trigger warning is in this book so if you know that you don't enjoy dark romance or are even slightly squeamish- I would suggest you don't read this.

Hmm… I wanted to see what was so “special” about Vlad and Sisi and I guess they didn't disappoint but it's still one of the most fucked up stories I have ever read.

Dear Ms Lancet,

Your books have absolutely captured my heart, and I don't even want it back anymore. (I am sure Vlad can relate)

I always thought my standard for book fictional men was high. After reading about 300+ romance books, I really thought I had figured it out.

And then I came across your books.

You have absolutely obliterated my mold of what my standard of fictional men should be. I didn't know I was setting my bar so low until you showed me how the heroine should be treated by their men. If they are not ready to offer their heart out in a platter and beg on his knees for your forgiveness, are they even worth batting an eye to?

I love Vlad & I absolutely adore Asisi.

From your newest gained follower,
ReadingwithRobin

This is one of the rare times where I am able to give a series a straight 4 stars for every book.

I loved the whole interaction of both Vlad &. Asisi, it was so cute and so wholesome in a psycho-obsessed-ride-or-die way.

Don't you just adore it when the hero is absolutely cruel and mean to everyone but an absolute sweetheart to the heroine? Because I fucking do.
And gosh, for the number of people he killed and dismembered, I didn't know he had it in him to be such a marshmallow to the heroine, it had only emphasized just how much he just adores Asisi.

and THAT made it so satisfying to read.

The only thing I have to complain is about the whole Vlad backstory and finding her sister, it kinda took away a chunk of my attention, like honestly, I didn't care for the whole plot that much, I just wanted to read Vlad &. Asisi's interaction without the plot taking a centre point.

This is why I enjoyed the first portion of the book a little more than the last.

The author just does SO WELL in portraying their relationship. I love the way to author portrayed the fluff, the jealousy, the possessiveness, the emotional bond, the whole hiding from her brother aspect. It was so good.

I love a book that has drama, but not in terms of political interest, mob rivalry, mystery.
I just like books that are more centred around the main characters relationship, instead of the attention being divided into digging into some plot that I didn't care as much for.
So if it weren't for that I might have rated it much higher.
Also the author are really going at it with the cannibalism scenes, I have never read romance books that has cannibalism before V.L, so this series was entirely eye-opening for me.

Not gonna lie, felt a little ick by it, but it wasn't too bad.

The scenes with Vlad scavenging for date ideas and dating tips had more than made up for it.

ALSO BOTH VIRGINS??? FIRST KISS TOO???

Ms Lancet, I can tell you without a doubt that you just gained a new follower, every book from you will be an auto-buy from now.

You have definitely proven to be an author worth supporting.
Like fuck, you literally hit my sweet spot with every book you released.

Love love loves how the heroes are either virgins or a non-manwhore.
Like yessss, finally an author that can write a hero that can keep it in his pants and find sex boring or bothering until the heroine, like helloooo it's always the heroine in romance books that feels this way, finally we get to read a hero that challenges the standard norms.

Warning: This book is dark. Check the TW before proceeding.

A masterpiece. I actually find it hard to put into words just how much this book has touched me. Just how much I love it. Veronica Lancet has managed yet again to surprise me.

I'll start by saying that I've been an emotional wreck while reading "Morally Ambiguous". I cried. I sobbed. Several times. I had to take a break just because I could no longer see the words. But I also laughed. Out loud. Mind you, I was reading this book at night and everyone was asleep.

About the characters, I have to say, I absolutely adored them. I've had a crush on Vlad since Morally Corrupt, but in Morally Ambiguous? I fell completely in love with him and there is no turning back. He was one of the best characters I've ever encountered. Then, there was Sisi. His match, his queen, his everything. I loved how strong and determined she was. She knew what she wanted and she got it. No matter the consequences. Sisi was one of the best female leads ever. A female character that actually has a personality and isn't portrayed as Little Miss Perfect? But that's Veronica Lancet's speciality. Her female characters are absolutely everything!

Vlad and Sisi? Together? They were an absolute power couple. Nothing could stand in their way. They could conquer the world if they wanted (They wouldn't though, because they'd just end up getting bored) and the world would actually thank them.

"Morally Ambiguous" is my favourite book written by Veronica Lancet and I could go on forever about how much I love it.

I'm a simple woman. I see boy obsessed. I see dual virgins. I see OM drama and jealousy. I'm sold. But then you may wonder, "why not five stars, Nikki?" Well first of all, this book was LONGGGGGG. So long that I pretty much skimmed the last 30% no matter how badly I wanted to properly read it. And second of all, the gore (boy wasn't it graphic lmao...so much so that I had a splitting headache while reading). I won't lie, the shit in this book made me sick to my stomach. But it was oddly romantic at the same time??? Either ways, I've cut a star for those two reasons ONLY. Just thought I should let y'all know hehe. Otherwise, Morally Ambiguous was a really good read and safe for me. Also, fuck Marcello - he's such a dickhead and doesn't deserve a sister as wonderful as Sisi. I don't think I'll be reading any of the previous books in this series anytime soon.

Safety Squad:
- dual virgins
- no condoms
- dub con
- graphic rape scenes/CSA/trauma/bullying/murder/gore/violence/death/loss of a loved one/torture/mentions elements of religion (catholic) + mentions of the devil/assault
- H is morally grey (extreme version) + a psychopathic murder
- mentions of episodes (manic) that are triggered by blood
- cannibalism
- slight OM drama (nothing happens)
- jealousy scenes + J/P H
- grovelling
- interconnected standalone in a series (though it didn't make much of a difference to me despite not having read any of the previous books)

Talk about highlight overload 😂 I would’ve highlighted the whole book if I could have, I don’t think I’ve ever highlighted so much from a book before! I loved this book 😭😭 I already want to reread it and I just finished it! It was really disturbing for me in the beginning , and that’s saying something because I’m not easily disturbed, but I just absolutely loved it. The love they both had for each other was just amazing 😍

This book was too much. I feel the author in this whole series looked for the most disgusting and horrible things the world does and strung them together in a loose plot.

VLADSISI WAS TOTALLY GOD TIER, THIS BOOK SERVED SO MUCH
the way they served mental illness>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
This was totally fucked up but at same time cute?????? vlad was bordeline insane BUT SO SWEET WITH SISI AT SAME TIME, and I loved that sisi was insane like vlad, she was totally a badass and totally fucked up, she knew how much vlad was kinda of insane and she matched his insanity *chef kiss*
They brought insanity and mental illness to another level ( IT WAS SO FUCKING GOOD)
This book is really dark and fucked up, so if you don’t like dark romance or is starting to read it I wouldn’t recommend, before the beginning of the book the author put a list with all the trigger warnings

Vlad’s character was great but Sisi’s not so much, I felt like her character was not well written and the fact that she was the one who first thought of cannibalism was shocking to say the least, I definitely could not read those parts and I had to skip a lot. In the series so far, I loved Marcello and Enzo.
