This is what happens when you read a free book even though you can’t find any reviews on safety and the author offers no info on it. I knew I should have stopped when he was talking about how he used to share women with her former stepbrother 🤮
25% in he was already going to the clubhouse to screw club whores while she stayed home. They lived together at this point. Were not a couple but he had already kissed her several times and finger banged her. I skimmed and he keeps doing this only he starts pretending it’s the h 🤮🤢🤮🤢🤮 he already felt things for her and still did this. That’s cheating to me.

Betrayals and Old Acquaintances
Har(m) is the Prez of the Riot MC Biloxi Chapter and is ready for the “right” woman in his life. Is it good or bad that the woman who caught his eye is his best friend, Brute’s, stepsister? Oh, and she rides a Harley and deals cards in a casino. After what Stephanie’s ex did to her she has sworn off men and is hiding from him in Biloxi. Will Har be able to convince Stephie that she needs to ride on the back of his bike? These two have some crazy chemistry but Stephie will not let what happened to her before happen to her again.
The Riot MC has a lot of issues going on now as well with some brothers going rouge and the MC trying to get out of the drug trade. Can the MC handle everything that is thrown their way especially with bodies beginning to pile up? The twists and turns in this alone made this book a page turner but when you add in Har and Stephie and their relationship it is a book that I couldn’t put down! I’m definitely on board with this series and can’t wait to see what comes next.

First off, I have to say that we are really loving and enjoying this series. This series has had great characters that you can't help but, fall in love with them all and this current story was no different.
I have been looking forward to Har's story for some time and the author did not disappoint as we loved it. At this point in his life, Har is looking for something more permanent and in drops Stephanie the women he craves and wants and yet, the opposite of what he is looking for. We loved Har a total alpha, protective, loving, kind of bit of an a-- at times but, overall swoon worthy character in our book.
Stephanie was a firecracker who was strong, independent and a chick who was f-ed over royally. Loved her from the moment we met her, strong on one hand yet, insecure in her worth when it came to someone loving her.
Talk about chemistry, this couple had that in spades. Loved them as a couple, they were perfect for one another in every way.
Overall, a story that drew you right in from the moment you started turning the pages and kept you engrossed to every end. The story was filled with tons of drama and had a great cast of characters. We loved it from beginning to end and everything in between. We have to say that Har had regrets when it came to Trixie the one that got away but, it turns out that the similarities of the women are scary good that he got exactly what he wanted after all.

I wanted to love it but the same old plot lines were used here. We have MFC who moves into town where her ex step brother and his best friend lives. She had a crush on the best friend previously. The best friend is the president of a MC. He wants her from the beginning gets her out of the dump she is staying to stay with him. He proceeds to go to the club leaving her there so he can go fuck a club girl to get over this thing with the MFC. Oh the romance. He apparently picks up a woman Diana who is not a club girl fucks her which later comes back to bite him. He thinks about how he was tempted to think of the MFC while with the club girls but he would not do that. When he is with someone he won’t imagine another. Sorry bud fucking someone to distract you from another is the same. It’s not clear how many he fucks before him and MFC get together but it was gross and did not make me think he truly cared if he could not give up fucking others while trying to get her in bed. After they get together he says I’ll only fuck you while we are fucking. This guy the romance lol. I also did not like that she never truly called him out and yes technically it was before they got together but as a woman that would be a huge turn off when you knew he wanted you. They had already kissed before he went off fucking others. Also, no talk of STDs which especially for someone with his life style for it to not even be talked about. That was just wrong. The writing was not bad but the romance part fell flat. She has the fact that he was fucking others right up to just before them tossed in her face multiple times. It felt like it was trying to be a romance book but was confused. It also pissed me off that in the beginning it seemed like he was not going to be the usual douche to fuck around after meeting her. Him and the stepbrother were talking and he said he did not want a bunny he wanted his own woman. So when he fucked others I was not only disgusted I was disappointed.

This action-packed MC romance is the first in a NRE series and I thoroughly enjoyed it! This romance was a roller coaster and I enjoyed every moment of it!
Insta love is not a favorite of mine, but combined with forced proximity, a possesive alpha, and an MC romance this was a really entertaining read!
This is my first book by Karen Renee and I really liked her style of writing. Paige Reisenfeld and Christian Leatherman were phenomenal narrators and I look forward to listening to more of their work.

Christian Leatherman and Paige Reisenfeld could not have been better cast for these characters. Leatherman has a gritty dark edge in his voice, and then turns on the charm. Reisenfeld is feisty and headstrong as Stephanie, perfect sound for this woman. Together they have incredible chemistry and make for a great listen.

**Audiobook Review**
What a great start to this new MC series I’ve found. “Harm’s Way” is a steamy, action packed and intriguing MC romance that I could not stop listening to.
Stephanie has all the luck, well all the bad luck. After finding out that her ex not only stole all of her money, he also took pictures of her without her consent. Trying to move on, she’s in Biloxi working as a card dealer in a local casino. There she runs into her former stepbrother and his best friend, Michael AKA Harm. They had grown up together but this is the first time they’ve seen each other as adults. There is an instant chemistry but a relationship is the last thing either wants. But when Harm sees how she’s living, he offers a place to stay at his house and with them spending time together leads to more.
I loved all the action in this story, once it started, it didn’t stop. Stephanie is a certified baddie and I loved her from the beginning. She’s smart, fiercely independent, and drives a motorcycle. She’s not afraid to stand up for herself and make sure she’s heard. Harm was the perfect match for her. He wasn’t afraid to help her out even if she wanted to resist. And I loved when he goes into protective mode when someone starts to come after her and his MC. The rest of the crew is great and I can’t wait to read their stories.
Paige Reisenfeld and Christian Leatherman narrated this book and I enjoyed listening to them bring this book to life. Wow! Harm and Stephanie know each other from teenage years but when he sees her again all grown up, it’s not the same. With all her bad luck, she definitely needs someone in the corner. Harm knows he doesn’t need the distraction but he also knows he can’t let her go.
This book is full of action & hot attraction that tries to pushed on the back burner. Very good start to a new series. Ready for the next book.

I fell in love with Harm in Foolish Riot! Any man that buys a baby motorcycle rocker and baby Harley Davidson gear for the woman he fell for and her new man is a man I can love! I have been waiting for the Biloxi boys series and Harm’s story for awhile! I was not at all disappointed! Stephanie and Harm’s story is a twist on a best friend’s little sister story. I love Stephanie and her stubborn, strong willed, feisty personality! We met her in Beast’s story and I thought any woman who rides her own Harley is for me! She is exactly what Harm needed! The book had the steam, the humor, the action and the love that all of Karen’s book have! I couldn’t put it down!

This is my first book written by Karen Renee and I enjoyed the story immensely and it captivated my attention from start to end. Stephanie “Stephie” Combes moved to Biloxi to get away from her swindling ex, who did her wrong in so many ways, ways she continues to pay for. She is determined to start over and got a decent paying job dealing cards in a casino. Trying to make some more money, she joins in an illegal poker game, and she has the advantage of knowing how to read people, something she picked up at her job. Except she winds up at the same table as Michael “Har” Walcott, her former step-brother’s best friend and a skilful player who does not bluff. Har was stealing glances at her, but he could not remember how he knew her and it wasn’t until he sees friend Brute talking to he realized who she was. It has been years since they saw each other. Har is now the President of the Riot MC and Brute is his VP. Stephie rides her bike and she can thank them for her love of bikes since they were the ones who introduced her to them. After being burned by her ex, Stephie wants nothing to do with men and Har has a lot on his plate running his club. It is a “one-percenter” motorcycle club, but he is not liking the direction some members want to take it and senses there is something shady going on. Despite all this, he still feels drawn to Stephie and the need to help her. However, a strong-minded Stephie does not want to have to depend on anyone. The chemistry between these two is undeniable, and they could only deny each other for so long. Har is not looking for a relationship, but no matter how hard he tries, he can not stay away. There are a lot of layers to this story and there is never a dull moment, besides the romance storyline, there is a lot going on in the club. The story has a perfect balance of drama, both relationship and club drama, angst, action, twists and turns, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. Karen Renee, thank you for this terrific story and wild and emotional rollercoaster ride.
🎧📚🎧 And for the fantastic narration, Paige Reisenfeld and Christian Leatherman had a complete understanding of who they were portraying, giving each character their own voice, one that was fitting and believable. Leatherman nailed it as the alpha biker, and Reisenfeld aced it as Stephanie, both grasping every side of their character’s personality. Both were great performing the roles of the secondary characters too. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the character’s emotions and had you feeling every single one. These entertaining storytellers are versatile voice artists and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this terrific listen.

Trying to make some more money, she joins in an illegal poker game, and she has the advantage of knowing how to read people, something she picked up at her job. Except she winds up at the same table as Michael “Har” Walcott, her former step-brother’s best friend and a skilful player who does not bluff. Har was stealing glances at her, but he could not remember how he knew her and it wasn’t until he sees friend Brute talking to he realized who she was. It has been years since they saw each other. Har is now the President of the Riot MC and Brute is his VP. Stephie rides her bike and she can thank them for her love of bikes since they were the ones who introduced her to them. After being burned by her ex, Stephie wants nothing to do with men and Har has a lot on his plate running his club. It is a “one-percenter” motorcycle club, but he is not liking the direction some members want to take it and senses there is something shady going on. Despite all this, he still feels drawn to Stephie and the need to help her. However, a strong-minded Stephie does not want to have to depend on anyone. The chemistry between these two is undeniable, and they could only deny each other for so long. Har is not looking for a relationship, but no matter how hard he tries, he can not stay away. There are a lot of layers to this story and there is never a dull moment, besides the romance storyline, there is a lot going on in the club. The story has a perfect balance of drama, both relationship and club drama, angst, action, twists and turns, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. Karen Renee, thank you for this terrific story and wild and emotional rollercoaster ride.
🎧📚🎧 And for the fantastic narration, Paige Reisenfeld and Christian Leatherman had a complete understanding of who they were portraying, giving each character their own voice, one that was fitting and believable. Leatherman nailed it as the alpha biker, and Reisenfeld aced it as Stephanie, both grasping every side of their character’s personality. Both were great performing the roles of the secondary characters too. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the character’s emotions and had you feeling every single one. These entertaining storytellers are versatile voice artists and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this terrific listen.

Welcome to the Biloxi chapter of Riot, folks! These guys are a lot less tempered by their women, a lot grittier and angrier, and still trying to find their way to safely profitable avenues. In the middle of all of this chaos is Har(m), who doesn’t want the easy loving he’s offered, but also hasn’t found the woman that just fits with him. Of course, that’s until he realizes just who Stephanie is soon after she hits town. He and Brute each have different reasons for wanting to wrap her up and keep her safe, and Har sure isn’t one to easily give up when he feels that spark.
As for Stephanie, she’s had it up to her debt-ridden eyebrows with men. They’re not worth the trouble they bring, not even when they’re in the form of the guy she crushed on as a child and who is determined to save her from herself now. She and Har have some serious push and pull before they get on the same page and give in to the attraction they feel. And when it all gets a little too hot and heavy too fast, they both get singed before honesty finally pushes them into “the talk” about feelings and future.
This wouldn’t be a Karen Renee read without some twists and drama that kept me wondering who was really on Har’s side, who Stephanie’s ex really was, and how the heck they found themselves smack dab in the middle of the same mess from completely different angles! Don’t be fooled. This isn’t the Jax crew with a new locale. These guys are quick to retaliation, some anger, and are definitely in the early days of finding their way to good. He'd sure grown up since he'd been the best friend of her long-estranged stepbrother and turns out he still is his best friend and MC brother. Harm doesn't do relationships but he'd sure like to do her. She doesn't have relationships or anything else with men considering what her ex had ...well you'll need to read to find that out.
When situations bring them together their hormones bring them even closer--more than hormones and it doesn't take long for their feelings to go further. It is fun to watch these two together and how they react. Fast in so many ways.
With trouble at the club and with her past there is plenty to keep Harm, as club president, busy besides time with her. The book is filled with great characters, enemies, and friendly clubs, plus their own brothers and women who are at risk. It will take planning and support to fix what's broken. Surprises, tested loyalties, family feuds, and a future in both his personal and club life to plan. Will they make it?

Stephie's life hasn't been going well as of late, with her ex totally destroying her life in different ways, so she ends up going to Biloxi to start fresh. Her new job makes her better tips, but running into her long lost step brother & his best friend, Har(m), isn't something she's happy about. Har ends up being the one to help her out temporarily when her bad luck continues, so she ends up staying with him, and the sparks they're throwing ignites in big ways. This is where it got frustrating to me since she's a flight risk when this happens while he can give push & pull with the best of them. I'm telling you, the way they're circling each other had me ready to pull my hair out, and having a flight risk makes me anxious LOL! If that's not enough for us, he's battling with the Riot MC Biloxi chapter (he's the president) as he wants to get out of their drug trade while many of them don't so the clubhouse is really divided, and honestly, he doesn't need the distraction of Stephie (push & pull) but heavy lies the crown. There's a lot going on here so in order to see how it all plays out, you'll have to hit those one click buttons! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I love a possessive/protective man. Har is that and then some.
It's almost instant the draw he feels towards Stephanie. She had a crush on him when she was younger, but this is the first he's feeling it. And he didn't even know who she was at first.
Even though he was drawn to her, he fought it for way too long and that irked me, but it worked for the story. Once he decided she was his... all bets were off and I was all in.
This was a new to me author and 2 new to me narrators. I went in a little cautious but was extremally happy with the whole package.
The whole cast of characters in this brotherhood, motorcycle club, found family situation makes me very happy and I would love to see what happens next.
The narration of the audiobook was performed by Paige Reisenfeild and Christian Leatherman. Again, this pair were new to me but I greatly enjoyed the performance and would definitely listen to more of their voices. Paige was terrific as sassy yet warry Stephanie, she'd been put through the wringer thanks to a toxic ex and is focused on her fresh start. Fiercely independent, but willing to open herself up to Har and his brotherhood. Christian was a fantastic kind of rumbly. Har is dominant and commanding, he leads and demands respect. But he also is soft for Stephanie, she fits and challenges him at the same time. You can hear the exasperation as well as the tenderness and the humour in the performance.
I requested and was provided with an advance copy of the audiobook. These are my honest opinions.

What an outstanding start to a new chapter of the Riot MC. This is Harm, you may remember him from “Foolish Riot” and Stephanie story. We met her in Beast’s story. Before I go any further, please note if you haven’t read the original books in the Riot MC series, it won’t matter. This is a whole new charter with mentions to past characters, you won’t be lost in the least.
The author has truly done Harm’s story justice. He is the prez of the Biloxi chapter and one tough guy. He knows what he wants and goes after it, being with his club, his brothers, their missions or his women. In this case the latter is Stephanie. She is a blast from his past, when she was just a young teen who followed him and his best friend Beast, around everywhere. (she is Beast’s former step-sister). But now she is a head strong, Harley riding, independant woman with a sassy streak for days. Stephanie has moved back to Biloxi due to her ex. Thanks to him and his pranks she is broke and living with a string of bad breaks. That is until she runs into Harm. They try to resist the attraction, both not needing the distraction of a relationship right now. But sometimes, a distraction is just what you need. Especially when bad things are on the horizon.
Great read that I highly recommend. This reader can’t wait to see what happens next in the Riot MC, Biloxi chapter.

It’s insane how good this story was! My first Karen’s book and surely it won’t be the last. One of the most intense MC stories I’ve read. Intense in the sense that there was never a moment of calm as good things happened also bad ones. Stephie’s life was a total mess there’s no other way to describe it and let’s not talk about where she was living before running into her stepbrother which to be honest I absolutely adored. He wasn’t what I expected and i like his uniqueness. Talking about guys Har. Geez that man was insanely hot and so damn confusing. It was priceless reading the constant push and pull between Stephie and Har but don’t let me fool you it had me on the edge almost kicking them for their actions and the whole drama and miss... so many thing happened in this story even though it’s been weeks since I read this story and I can’t remember so many details as a fact I loved it. Can’t wait for the next story!”

It feels like we have been waiting for Harm’s book forever! That man has had me wanting to know his story for quite a while now since Trixie.
Harm isn’t how I expected him to be. He’s a lot more levelheaded and calculating than I imagined. I was also surprised to see him not share his woman.
I guess when a man knows the woman is meant to be his he doesn’t want anyone else to have her for any reason.
Stephanie is a spitfire. I loved how she fit in with the MC and didn’t put up with anyone’s crap. But I also loved she knew when to give in to Harm when it really mattered.
This Biloxi crew will be keeping us on our toes in the future for sure!

Stephanie and Har had a little childhood history between them, and her current situation brought them back together. Stephanie was very distrustful because of her ex, and Har did not want a relationship until he found one that "fit". As they spent time together, they both realized that their future was right in front of them. There were the dangers that come with an MC and a nutty ex to keep me turning the pages, and I found that I thoroughly enjoyed this story. I look forward to the next one in the series.

When I realized that Karen Renee was going to give the Biloxi chapter their own series, I was stoked! Har is up first and the story we got was explosive! With loads of drama, danger, violence, and some very nicely done naughty moments; this was very entertaining and kept me hooked till the last word. I am so excited to see where this series goes, so far it's starting off very well. I give this 4 stars.

I was immediately drawn into this book. I like the characters, I love how Har softened to Stephanie. Motorcycle gangs is one of my favorite genre. I like the interactions in the kitchen. The in's and out's of a motorcycle club interest me. The description of Har reminds of Jax from SOA. I like that this a long series with all the same characters. I really liked the narrators for this book, they seemed to fit somehow. They did an amazing job.

Harm and Stephie's story is action packed, drama filled, steamy and I couldn't put it down let alone turn the pages fast enough. Heck at one point I was afraid these two were going to give me whiplash. I loved the banter between everyone and I can't wait to read Brute's story.

Wow, this book is amazing. It had everything. I couldn't put book down once I started.
I loved Stephanie and Har together, they tried fighting their attraction. But the brothers saw writing on the wall straight off. They knew each other for a while in the past. Both are commitment shy, but when they finally give in its hot.
I can't wait for more.

Going All-In!
I am so happy I stumbled upon the Riot MC Series! I loved Harm when he showed up in Trixie and Rolls book! Of course, it was going to have to be a pretty strong lady to catch Harm's eye! I absolutely LOVE that he and Steph had a history together and that they would both finally find the HEA!

Stephanie just can’t catch a break. When she sees Har after so long, she doesn’t know what to do. He swoops in and really saves her but she is stubborn. These two are explosive together. Excellent read. Fabulous storyline.
