This is a rerelease. Susie goes to the gym to lose weight. Hires a hot personal trainer, whom she doesn’t realize is a bear shifter. Brian is a co-owner of Healthy bodies and his mate has just walked through the door looking for a personal Trainer. He knows he is the right bear for the job. The only problem is, he is not Susie’s only mate, his brother Blake is in the running too. Can they learn to share? They convince Susie she is theirs. Together Blake and Brian teach her how great food can really be, and exercise can be a lot of fun. Will Susie be able to handle two bears taking over her life? Can she live in this strange new paranormal world? Is she strong enough to stand by her two men?

This one was a bit of a cheesy hot mess. Example, this is a story about two bear shifters. Their names are Brian and Blake...wait for it...wait for it...Brian & Blake BEAR Get it, cause they are BEAR shifters...
BRIAN was a douchnoodle of EPIC proportions. Let me share some of his wonderful nuggets of douchedom.
"As he spoke to Gwen, his eyes never left Susie’s. Brian was puzzled because she wasn’t model material by any means, and he couldn’t understand the feelings he had as soon as he saw her. He’d never been interested in someone who wasn’t an absolutely gorgeous front cover model. If someone asked him to describe Susie in one word, it would be…cute."
"She was his mate. It explained why she smelt like his favourite food and he found her gorgeous when usually he wouldn’t even glance her way."
"No, honey, you smell like heaven to me. We recognise our mates from their smell, and I was also attracted to you instantly even though you’re not my usual type. I usually only date models or women who could model."
Gosh, I don't know about you all, but I just CAN'T figure out why Brian isn't up for mate of the year!?
The we have BLAKE who likes his women "THICK" and he REALLY likes the women. He's a manwhore extreme. He sleeps with clients. He fucks them in his office at the gym. They are everywhere. And we are told repeatedly about them. Even the real estate agent that helps them find a house is one of the women he has slept with. The heroine even forces him to apologize to the woman for not calling her after sleeping with her three times. All the while he is sleeping with others at the same time..I mean WTF?
This poor girl really lucked out in the mate department let me tell you.
On top of ALL that the writing was choppy and ALL over the place. Storylines were never resolved (umm Taylor anyone??) Brian and Blake's mom is a bitch, then all of a sudden she isn't.
Ugh. I can't believe I am going to even say this, but I am really tempted to read the next one just to see how craptastic it compares to this one.

1 WHAT THE HELL STAR
I was hoping for the same type of story as the last one I read from Hazel Gower entitled Ours, boy was I WRONG.
This whole book just pissed me off. The heroes are jerks and the heroine is just stupid and the whole story is inconsistent at best.
I will not waste time going through all the ways this book SUCKED for me here. As it's thanksgiving and I have wasted enough time reading this book.
Here is a small sample of the type of writing:
"...I am usually attracted to models, or women who could model but instead I am attracted to you..." OKAY so I am mildly paraphrasing here but he tells her how he has sex with hot girls and how they don't pick their mates. They don't have a choice here...WFT. Don't you just feel special here!

I will not read it again and I don't recommend this book to anyone here.

Realizing that if she doesn't do something immediately, Susie is about to have to by a new wardrobe in a bigger size. Deflated already, Susie joins a gym and happens upon Brian the co-owner of Healthy Bodies. Susie finds him attractive but completely out of her reach. If she knew about bears and mates, she may not be quite so hesitant but Brian suffers from foot in mouth syndrome and it takes his brother Blake to smooth things over with the woman he realizes is his mate as well. Susie however has her own plans and they don't include either of them.
Very fun book for the first in the series. Susie is a handful and Brian, oh Brian should have idiot tattooed on his forehead. I could totally relate to Susie, love a good full figured woman book with shifters.

Before I begin let me state that I really liked this book, it's a solid 3.5 stars. Having said that this story line was all over the place. It's almost as if someone took the completed book and randomly pointed out that we need a spanking scene here, menage sex here and she should make them jealous somehow here. Some of these scenes didn't fit the character personality at all. Example; Susie's first encounter with Blake; he spanks her ass and tells her that he is in charge and she will obey, okay that's hot...but then a couple chapters later, she mouths off, goes off with her friends to a club, gets waaaaaay blasted and Blake's reaction is...nothing. He takes care of her during her hangover (and yeah, that's hot too) but there is no punishment for disobeying, in fact, Blake is a pussycat errr, teddy bear barring that first scene. Then you have Brian, who doesn't usually go for the chunky chicas...and tells her that! Susie storms off in righteous indignation and then...a couple of phrases later, all is forgiven. Now I know that I have to make allowance, this isn't a full length novel and at under a hundred pages Hazel Gower only has so much time to devote to character development...but...
Anyway, rant aside this is a very decent book. The sex is hawt! and the men are hotter. I love that Susie isn't a stick figure and actually has a few very normal (to my mind at least) internal freak outs because of her weight because it doesn't matter if you weigh 100 lbs. or 500 lbs. women tear themselves up at one point and time over some real or imagined flaw. All in all Theirs kept my interest and aside from a few pet peeves of mine was a very hot, quick mfm read.
Anyway, rant aside this is a very decent book. The sex is hawt! and the men are hotter. I met Hazel Gower at Indie Down under this year, Theirs is one of the last books I picked up for the day, I love Shifter stories, and I have not read too many bear ones, so I must say I was surprised with how much I enjoyed this story.
Susie decides that she needs to lose weight so she joins a gym and signs up for a personal trainer, feeling embarrassed she hopes for a female trainer. Brian takes one look at Susie and decides that she is his mate, which gets a bit hot because for her first session they are locked in his office and are up for some steamy fun, I did find this a bit strange as they have only just met, although they have extreme sexual tension because of her being his mate I find it out of character for Susie as she has no body confidence and here she is getting it on with an extremely hot personal trainer.
As she is leaving she meets Blake, Brian’s brother who is also her mate. they all have to overcome their jealousy and lust to find a neutral ground for her new relationship.
I did really enjoy this story, It was a fun read and I get the author was trying to write a story about a BBW, which is fine by me but I found the story focused too much on her weight. I love the interaction between the brothers and the rest of the family and I am looking forward to reading ours, the next book in the Series.

The story felt a bit erratic and all over the place for my taste. The relationship and the revelation of shifters happened at a break neck pace. I would have like to see a bit more character and story development. Unfortunately, I didn't much care for this one but others may.

ACCEPTABLE: The characteristics of a 2 star story include: a passable story but there was some element(s) that kept it from being a good story; and, it won’t make it to my ‘read again’ pile. I would consider recommending the book.My Thoughts:

I love me some bear shifters!!! There is just something about them that makes me all tingly!!
This is a good story that had great characters, just no wow factor.
I really liked Susie, she was relateable and engaging. Oh, to find myself in her situation!! Two buff bears claiming you are their mate, almost makes me want to go to the gym myself!
I loved it when Blake went all Alpha in the bedroom!! Delicious!! Brian was equally snuggly!!
The side stories were good but could have been a touch more developed. It was a short read that could have been longer to really flesh things out and draw out the drama.
Ready for the next book!!

An erotic, ménage, curvy woman & shifter story. The story made me smile quite a few times and there were a lot of hot sex scenes. In fact this story heads into the erotic fast, so if that's not your thing then this story is not for you.
If you have a thing about unprotected sex then be warned...there is no condoms in sight or mentioned in this fast paced story.
There are a few errors that have been missed in the editing process, one of which actually made me laugh :)
This author is new and I look forward to reading more of her work to see her style mature.

I got a signed copy of this book from the author at our IADU2014 event, I hadn't read it before then - but I have to say that I am super bummed that I didn't. This was a awesome shifter book, and I have recently decided that bear shifters are one of my new favourite type of shifter! This story covered a lot of emotional ground, but it did it in a way that made the story really fly quickly. After I finished this one, I went straight on to the second book, and it was just as much of a fun read!

I liked this book although there are some grammatical errors that made it harder in some areas of the book. I wish it would have been just a little bit longer with them talking about things a little more. I can't wait for the next in the series though!

I really enjoyed this book. I thought Susie was great. She had spunk and spirit. She kept the two men on their toys at all times. The develop of the book and the characters kept me entertained and I longed for more. I look forward to reading another book from this author and this series!

Okay the few lines of this story were totally NOT what I was expecting. It did make me bust out laughing from personal experience though!
I found the plot to this story to be quite an interesting one. I've never read a shifter story where a person had two mates. Usually it's just one, but Brian and Blake both claim Suzie to their mate in this one.
Okay despite the amount of "paranormal porn" in this book I really liked it. It wasn't a serious erotica like all the other ones I've read lately, it was easy going and light hearted, and it made me smile pretty much non stop.
Any lover of paranormal, even if they aren't fans of erotica will absolutely fall in love with Suzie, Blake, and Brain I know I did.

I found the plot to this story to be quite an interesting one. I've never read a shifter story where a person had two mates. Usually it's just one, but Brian and Blake both claim Suzie to their mate in this one.
Okay despite the amount of "paranormal porn" in this book I really liked it. It wasn't a serious erotica like all the other ones I've read lately, it was easy going and light hearted, and it made me smile pretty much non stop.
Any lover of paranormal, even if they aren't fans of erotica will absolutely fall in love with Suzie, Blake, and Brain I know I did.

Susie is tired of being a bit on the heavy side so instead of just accepting defeat and buying that next size up in pants she is going to do something about it. That something would be going to a gym. While there she runs into not one, but two gorgeous trainers who both want to help her get a little exercise only not in the way she imagined.
The two trainers Blake and Brian are both bear shifters and they realized right away that Susie is their one true mate. However, they didn’t plan on her being both of theirs. Now they must find a way to work together to convince Susie that she is theirs.
A fast paced read with some delicious heroes and one sassy heroine! I really enjoyed this story and look forward to reading more in this series. I love a strong heroine who can take care of business, but also appreciates a man or in this case men with a strong will of their own.
Susie is wild, fun, and doesn’t go down without a fight so it’s easy to see why she needs more than two shifter mates. I also really liked getting to know a bit about her friends who all had their own unique personalities. Hopefully they will all get their very own bear or pair of bears.
Blake and Brian are two very different brothers. One is laid back and level headed while the other a bit more demanding and wild, although this is definitely not a bad thing.
The romance was sexy, wild, and even sweet. There was a good amount of sweetness added in that I liked and felt that it made them that much closer to each other. It was also nice to see that Susie wasn’t just going to give in, no matter how gorgeous they were.
I would definitely recommend this story for a fun and sexy read!

Susie has had enough with gaining weight. She decides to get a gym membership. While doing the initial sign up one of the most attractive men she has ever seen walks in. He ends up taking over and when she asks for a personal trainer she stresses that she wants a female. When she goes to the gym the next day imagine her surprise when she finds out that Brian, the guy from the day before is her trainer. When he takes her back he ends up taking her into an office. Things heat up really quick. She freaks out and runs. As she is running out she runs into Blake.
Brian and Blake are in shock. They both know that Susie is their true mate but they did not expect to have to share her. Now that they know what she is to them they now have to convince her. Things heat up really quick with the trio but then they have to deal with mama bear. She is not happy that her sons have to share a mate or the fact that she is human. Susie has to decide if she can get over the what other people say about them. Is her love for both men enough?
I LOVED this! I was totally hooked right from the beginning. I think it's great that she is a bigger woman who attracts not one but two really hot guys. I like that Blake was the dominant, calming one while Brian ended up being the fumbling idiot who messed things up every time he opened his mouth. But that they would both do anything to make Susie happy. I definitely recommend reading. This book is on the Steamy side, which is great! This is a quick read so things do move a little quick, but sometimes you just want nice, short and steamy.

This is one book that I will be thinking about for a long time. This is the first bear shifter book that I have read in a while. Bears sort of scare me but if I had one that looked like Brian and Blake I would change my mind in a heartbeat.
All Susie wanted to do was go the the gym, hire a personal trainer and lose some weight. What she got was two sexy demanding brothers claiming that she belonged to them. Neither one of them were really good on the part where they were going to tell her that she belonged to them.
I can’t wait to read the next book in this series. This book had a great ending and the author has a great sense of humor. One that I can really appreciate. I can’t imagine finding out that I am mated to two men and they are men shifters. Susie seemed to take it better than I would. I can understand the part where she didn’t want anyone to know she was with two men. That would take a strong woman who is satisfied with herself and knew what she wanted to pull it off.
At times I thought Brian was getting the short end of the stick. He meet her first but had to take the back seat a lot of the times. It showed that he had a great head on his shoulders and tried to do the best thing. I feel in love with this book and I can’t wait to see if the next book is even better than this one.
If you love two strong men who are shapeshifters and have a strong family and values than this is the book for you.

I'm at a loss as to how to talk about this story. It's not the worst one I've read but it's far from being good. The first thing that struck me was how quickly she accepts that shifters even exist. Writing erotic romance novels in your free time wouldn't make you predisposed to believing they exist and not being completely astounded by that fact once you find out.
The sex scenes are really kind of ho-hum, our heroine literally moaning "ohh" and "ahh" in the dialogue during the proceedings. Another thing that bothered me about them was how Susie talked to Blake in them. His interactions with her were pretty much of the Dominant Alpha-type, if not a somewhat weaker one than I'm used to seeing in my stories. During the sex scenes, she would tell him what to do to her, which I'm not averse to reading. However, as an Alpha male, I felt he should've been a bit more forceful in taking control and "correcting" her. Maybe that's just a personal preference, but it just felt wrong to me.
There are a few editing issues, like "stoped" for "stopped" and "farther" for "father," along with some other random things that need more than a spell check to catch.
If I were to grade this book, I'd give it a C-. It could have been better with a little more guidance and attention, but without it, it just doesn't impress.

Sometimes I come across a book that leaves me smiling and looking for more from the same author....this is one of those stories.
No, this is not a complicated drawn out story of love, which was perfect for my mood. Yes there was instant attraction....which I enjoyed. I actually have come to expect it in shifter stories. I think that if people could change into animal forms...then there's a good chance they could fall for someone fast.
Susie reluctantly steps into a gym that she is thinking of joining and is given a tour by the female co-owner, Gwen. Feeling comfortable around her, she decides to sign up. That's when things get a little crazy as one of the other owners (Brian) walks in and knows that he's found his mate.
No way does Susie want to be around this hunky man who she knows would never even look her way. Her confidence in herself is already in a bad place and she makes sure to ask for a *female* personal trainer.
Of course what she asks for and what she gets are two very different things....especially when she meets his brother, Blake.
I really liked this story and watching how the three of them came together. If you are looking for a quick, fun read with lots of heat, then I recommend, "Theirs."

Susie is lovely and kind person but doesn't have confidence in her body so she joins a gym to help herself lose weight. Brain and Blake get the suprise of there life meeting there mate and finding out they have to share. Brain and Blakes past dating also comes back to bite them, making Susie feel horrible about herself and if she can deal with two men then there is meddling family on both sides. Great story with two men showing there woman a great way to stay in shape and enjoy it. Has two males that say the wrong thing making you want to slap them upside the head or melt with the lovely words coming out of there mouth while with Susie i just want to give a big hug with the shock she is going through

This book is funny - Susie keeps trying to run away from her domineering, dominating mates, but they keep luring her back in. Blake and Brian both have their own pasts to deal with, a mother that tries to boss everyone around, and now a mate with insecurity issues. Brian, especially, often has a serious case of "foot-in-mouth" syndrome.
Overall, it is a cute read that could have stood another round of edits in a few spots but did not take away from my enjoyment of the story and set up well for a story about Susie's friend and the Bear Brothers' cousins.

what I thought about this book?
maybe we can call it a short less intrigue many hot scenes kind of story.
There wasn't so much things that would made me forget just anything to get this book done, except a lot of bed exercises along the story.
It will be better if the story could be more intriguing.. while still a short story.
I just got entertain in how the heroes and heroine interacted.. made me grinned.

This was an impulsive buy and I have to say that it was awesome. I liked the dynamics of the three as well as the whole backstory and character development. I have to admit, that I am still a little cynical about the way the female protagonist just accepted the shifters existence without pause. That was weird.
Bonus was that there's also a little action/crime fighting or similar things going on, that makes it just that much more real for me.

Add some entertaining family drama and realistic friends, and you've got the feel for "Theirs".
I had a blast reading this book. It's not something I would normally pick up, but something about the cover and blurb made me curious enough to buy it. I'm glad I did!

This story was incredibly sweet. I love big beautiful heroines and this story was awesome. Bear shifters are fun too. If you are looking for a quick read that hooks you at page one this is the story for you. I really enjoyed watching the heroine accept her weight...and her mates. This one is a five star one clickable book! Enjoy!

It's hard to "build" a world and rough getting from the instant attraction of the characters to the steamy scenes (expected in erotic PNR) in so few pages. That didn't keep me from enjoying this quick read or prevent me from buying the next in the series, "Ours". Hazel Gower is a new author for me, and I liked her shifter story. (I'm also enjoying her "Armageddon's Mates" series.)

I am so glad I found this author. Her books are very good the charaters make you believe in them and their romance. This book is graphic in the love scenes but only in the best way. Theirs is well written. I will be reading more of her stories.

I love shifter stories, of any kind! And I loved this story, and I am so looking forward to reading book 2 in this series!
