The Unknown Edge: A Mystical Journey of Self-Discovery

Rate this book
Banking is about making profits and spirituality is about giving. Rajita Kulkarni Bagga has managed to grow successfully in both these seemingly opposite aspects of her life. Her close association with one of the most renowned spiritual masters of our time, Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, brought her in touch with world leaders, presented her with incredible opportunities, and also placed new challenges on her path. She even came within perilous touching distance of armed terrorists on a killing spree, during the 26/11 attack on the Taj Hotel in Mumbai. Her book forces you to ponder if there is a force that orchestrates the events in our life and whether the way we respond to situations changes our destiny. Now, as one of India’s highly respected women educators, she asks, 'What is The Unknown Edge that separates the mystical from the mundane, the life-transforming from the life-threatening and the ethereal from the earthly'?

The book is a heart moving account of how one blossoms in life effortlessly in the unseen but all pervading presence of an Enlightened Master. It takes lifetimes of seeking to find one's "Guru" (Enlightened Master), and when one does, there is no stopping in life, the book is a testament to this fact.
Kudos to Rajita Ma'am for sharing her life story of achieving unimaginable heights, discovering never known potential, mischievous miracles, woven beautifully with snippets of wisdom to create an inspirational read for many around the world.

“My story is as good as the eyes that behold it”.....Rajita Kulkarni Bagga Author of The Unknown Edge.
I completed this book & every page of it gave me so much of positive energy & serenity.
Ajay Bagga & Rajita Kulkarni Bagga both are eminent corporate personalities eventually turned a spiritual adorable couple, they were at Taj on 26/11 nd Rajita has shared her live experience in the book.
I will be doing injustice if I share their experience hence it should be read & experienced once for sure from her lens.
One must read it for the journey of Rajita the way she penned down childhood upbringing, family bonding, corporate successful life to spiritual, yogic disciplined human touched life when she joined Sri Sri Gurudev Ravi Shankarji🙏 along with Ajay.

While you read you get feel of perfect blend of corporate expertise & spiritual energy.

There are many incidences which author shared nd the way narrated touched my mind few lines I have mentioned here.
“Her phone screen began flashing, It was Gurudevy! In a gentle ,loving voice, he said, ‘Jai Gurudev,Rajita.’ My already racing heart leapt up to my mouth and a bolt of energy rushed up my spine. ......Tears started rolling down my cheeks. I wanted to live. How I wanted to live!

Strong relationships need big hearts, not big homes or pockets.

A Guru is a tangible manifestation of that intangible divine energy.

Knowledge has organising power.
In many such expressive sentences the entire Biography is weaved so gently.
Thanks Rajita for such a wonderful journey you showcased appropriately.

It will be my Pleasure to read more & listen more from you.

Phenomenal book . We struggle in life with "either" "or" and authors journey with an enlightened master proves its neither . Fascinating to know how one can have a corporate career , teach meditation , lead social service projects , head a university , address the European parliament or CEO and yet be so natural without the burden of doer ship . Read the book in one go .

“In the appraisal of our life we give ourselves too much importance. In the context of time and space, we are but a dot of existence. And yet our life matters.”
.
.
.
As insignificant as it is, this life, also matters. If we get consumed in ‘our’ survival, we fail to grasp the beauty of life. If we are determined to make something of it, stay driven and inspired and willing to contribute, that gives us “The Unknown Edge”. Presence of a Master and Grace bestows us with this ability, if are ready to embrace it.
.
.
.
This is a book which elaborates on how a simple survival can translate into a grand celebration giving an unknown edge to existance. It documents the life as it can be seen logically and as it can be fathomed ethereally, emphasises the strength that wisdom brings and proves time and again, how Shradha - faith in the unknown makes even the unthinkable a possibility.
.
.
.
A must read to fathom the marvel of a spiritual journey of living life with fullfillment.

Thank You' for writing and sharing your Journey in the form of Book!

It was like reading 'Alice in SPIRITUAL Wonderland'...as a Seeker I could relate many things... Tears rolled, going through several pages, the learnings from the torment of 26/11 with the importance of life and time on planet, could feel Guru Tatwa more, it reinforced FAITH in the Unknown ...My personal non-stop tears moment was Epilogue where you wrote the details of your Father's last journey...it took me back into my life event, 3 plus decades ago reflecting into my 16 yrs old self when I lost my Father and felt uprooted, unanchored, abandoned and your story resurfaced the unhealed zone, it helped me in grieving and healing the Self by seeing things with new perspective, as back then the responsibility of bread n butter at young age with roof above head gone had just made me bury my feelings...a moment of gratefulness in silence to you! 🙏
