I really enjoyed this book it is part of a series and I would recommend that you read the others before reading this one. I haven't read the other books and still enjoyed this one and will go back and read them so I can get the best out of this book. I have found this author to be a great one and recommend her books

Furio is a Stallion Shifter possibly the last one of his particular breed, and his mate is a Kitchen Witch. Both have serious self esteem issues that keep them from each other until trouble comes.
This is a great addition to this series and was so much fun to read! it has a great plot with tons of fun characters, and you will fall in love with this bunch of folks!

This is all about Furio Lo Duca and Jessenia story. Dang can I get a stallion shifter too. I love this shifter and witch love story. I laughed at how Jessenia makes Furio work to get back in her good graces after she finds out just how long he has being hiding a secret from her. I loved this book.

Jessenia and Furio each have insecurities holding them apart from one another. When an emergent need throws them together, and then into a dangerous situation, all the insecurities get pushed aside. I love the angst and suspense.

Furio Do Luca is an Italian Draft Horse Shifter. He is a member of the Guardians of Chaos. Furio is the youngest member of the Team. There are six members of supernaturals: Kingston (Dragon Shifter), Storm (Wolf Shifter), Byram (Vampire), Egros, (Male Witch), Elena (Panther Shifter) and Furio. They all live in a Stone Keep that is sentient and sees to many of their needs. Furio thinks that Jessenia might be his mate
Kingston and Storm have found their mates. Storm’s mate Fergie has a best friend, Jessenia, that comes to live at the Keep. She is a Kitchen Witch. She has a vlog that has a large following. She teaches people how to cook in their own kitchens. She helps the Keep feed all the people. She ends her videos with: “Remember folks, magic can happen in any kitchen. Even yours”.
Jessenia is a no-nonsense woman with a sassy mouth. I loved the reference to Mr. Ed! She is attracted to Furio. The Horse Shifter is a heartbreaker and Jessenia tries to keep her distance. They are both fighting the attraction making each other miserable. Both have issues.
Can they start anew and try to get along?
Holley, the witch mate to Kingston is having a difficult pregnancy and Jessenia wants to brew a potion to help. She needs to gather ingredients under special circumstances. Furio agrees to come with her and help. They are ambushed by enemies. Furio decides to sacrifice himself so that Jess can escape and still help Holley. Can the Guardians rescue Furio? Will Jessenia and Furio realize what they mean to each other?
This is the third book in a series. You can read this book without reading the other two but each book enhances the story with richness and background. I recommend starting with Wolf Shield. I am looking forward to Elena’s story coming next!

This was a fantastic book! But I must admit Furio did upset me greatly. He was a very immature horsey and needed a wack on the nose! I know he had his reasons, reasons I will it get into but there’s no reason to be disrespectful to Holley and Kingston. Especially Kingston, considering he’s like a father figure and he’s the alpha and could pretty much stomp everyone’s guts out lol. This story though still had so many sweet moments and many funny moments. I love Fergie and Storm and having their comic relief tossed in the mix is always hilarious. Gorri knows exactly how to write her characters so well. They’re all so very memorable and all so real. Jess and Furio made such a beautiful couple once they both stopped the tomfoolery. Their chemistry was begging to ignite and combust. They just went so well together. In Gorri fashion there were many times I laughed out loud. This women is not only a literary genius she’s a comedic genius. She understands her readers needs so well and gives us what we need. This is a superb series. I implore you to pick it up today. 5 twinkling stars ✨✨✨✨✨from this 🐻. Loved it!

Furio is a Guardian of Chaos and an Italian draft horse shifter. He’s known kitchen witch Jessenia is his mate since he first met her but royally screwed things up by treating her friend badly. After that, he was scared to tell her she was his mate. Jessenia has been drawn to Furio since the beginning but was angry with him and after one kiss he has avoided her. Now two people, both unsure about themselves, need to try to find their way together. I received an advance copy of this book and voluntarily left a review.

The Chaos series is quickly becoming one of my favs. Furio, the 'Italian Stallion', has known Jessenia was his mate for months. Witches however, don't have the same instincts. Jess has feelings for Furio, but he seems to avoid her every chance he gets. The fact that they each have their own insecurities, well, that is gonna cause some issues. One of the things I loved about this book is the involvement of all the characters. They really are a family. They want each other to be happy. They will meddle and sometimes it has to be done. Some couples just need a little push to find their HEA. This is my voluntary review of an early copy I received.

Claiming His Mate . . .

Furio Lo Duca is a Stallion shifter. He knows that the Kitchen witch, Jessenia, is his mate. Both of them have doubts and insecurities to deal with, so they are not dealing with this attraction very well. He avoids her and she, not being a shifter, doesn’t feel the bond pulling them – at least that’s what he believes. When trouble comes, can they put aside their insecurities and come together to stop the Loyalists? Will he claim Jessenia as his at last?

Furio, the "Italian Stallion" has known that Jessenia, the kitchen witch, was his mate for months now. Jess has feeling for Furio but they both have self esteem issues that keep them dancing around each other without acknowledging their attraction. I love what happens when they work together. This is a first to read of a horse shifter. He is a stallion and she is a witch. They keep from each other as they don’t want to get involved with anyone else. He has low self esteem and stays away. But then bad things happen and they are brought together. With him being one of the few of his breed left and she is a witch. Are they able to get together and stay together?

This was my first shifter story about a stallion and I loved it. Two people so unsure about themselves and both just want to love. I love this team of guardians because they are so different from each other, but they're a family. I absolutely love the home they live in because it gives them everything they need. Good job.

A whiz in the kitchen
This book is so amazing! Their relationship is so fraught with misunderstanding and miscommunication that when they finally come together it is just sweet bliss. I love how they are both so connected to each other even when they doubt the other’s feelings and know exactly what would make the other happy. The detail the author was able to put in this fast-paced read really made it a moving experience. Add in the unexpected danger at a very vulnerable moment and it is an adventure that I can't wait to read again. I think this might just be my favorite book in the series so far, but there are more books to come and I can’t wait to see what happens next.

Italian Stallion

Finally we get Furio story. After some of the way he treated Holley in the previous book I was not sure if he could be truly redeemed.

Jessenia is a kitchen witch that is kind of shy and unsure of herself.

Due to past behaviors misunderstanding continue to follow them. This was a decent story to catch up with the inhabitants of the castle.

Stallion Shifter Furio, met his mate kitchen witch Jessenia under less than stellar conditions. It seems that the former man-whore can’t do or say the right thing when it comes to the curvy witch and it’s driving them both nuts. This is a delightful tale of groveling and love.

Jessenia is a kitchen witch who is living at the Keep with the Guardians. He is thrilled to be learning from Holley and helping out. The only problem she has is her feelings for Furio. She is very attracted to him but he shows very little interest in her. She is also mad at him after he said mean things about her friend. She just keeps telling herself that he is not for her. When Furio built a greenhouse so she and her friends could grow their herbs, Jessenia is thrilled. Maybe Furio isn't as far out of her reach as she thought.

Furio is an Italian Stallion shifter. He was orphaned at a young age and never belonged anywhere until he joined the Guardians of Chaos. He is very attracted to Jessenia but his tongue looses control when she is nears by. He keeps hearing himself say stupid things that would make her angry and it seems he has no way to rein it in. He also is hesitant to make a move on her because he feels unloved and unworthy. Will he be able to put his feelings aside?

This book tells Jessenia and Furio's story. Its got fated mates, steamy scenes and a happily ever after ending. Furio knows Jessenia is his mate from the moment he meets her. Unfortunately he doesn't go about telling her he just tries to kiss her first. Jessenia is loyal to her friend and fellow witch Holley, who Furio was angry at his alpha for mating. Furio decides to not say anything even though his stallion insists he tell her. A kiss between them reveals something that Jessenia asks her friend about. When she's told that means she's his mate, Jessenia sees red and her powers try to harm Furio. An attack makes them realise what they have though, and they are finally mated.

Furio may be a Guardian but as a mate he is filled with self doubt, which makes him fight his Stallion and hold back from claiming Jessenia...a BIG mistake, she may be a kitchen Witch but she is powerful and feisty, when she gets upset sparks fly...literally. Can Furio sweet talk his way out of this one?
The Guardians are constantly on alert, but the future of the pack is suddenly in danger and there is nothing they can do but pray...and hope that Jessenia's spell will work. But this allows the threat to catch them unaware and the enemy strikes when they are distracted.

Stallion shifter and Guardian of Chaos Furio Lo Duca knows exactly who his mate is - kitchen witch Jessenia, but being set in his ways and with a tough as nails exterior he is not finding it easy to talk to her - plus she is not waking it very easy for him either. It doesn't help that she can see straight through him. With Loyalists threatening them all, can this Jersey boy claim the sassy mouthed Jessentia and take his rightful place in the team or will his self-doubt win?

This was a sweet light read with plenty of danger and drama. I loved the modern touches in their story as well as the way he was punished when she lost her cool with him. Easy to read and understand. A fun read. Contains explicit sexual content.
