I really enjoyed this book. I haven’t really read any Templar stories so this 2nd book in the series is a making a nice change. The story moves along at a good pace although I thought the first book had a quicker pace than this one.
Thoroughly enjoyed this second instalment of this series and really looking forward to the next one. Super story with likable characters. The story kept me hooked from start to finish. I would advise you to read the first book before embarking on this one. My only criticism is I felt the author repeated himself unnecessarily on several occasions but that certainly did not stop me enjoying this book. I hope I don't need to wait to long for the next instalment. I am hoping there are many more to come. This will not spoil the story but delighted to read that two of the characters bought rhodesian ridgeback puppies as I have three :-)
He does it again! Humphreys grabs my imagination (and the rest of me I will add!) and we’re off to do battle with a host of evil, involving a “Ghost.” Who knew, I’d be tripping off into the sunset “whilst” never leaving my favorite reading post? Certainly not I. Armed only with a Katana, I sprung into action right in the midst of my fellow Knights. I know you don’t believe me, but the adventure is as real as the cold outdoors is right now. So, cast off your coat and get into a read8ng adventure you can believe in. Excellent!
On another assignment with Jonathan taking the lead this time. Not as easy as he thought even with all the extra training after the last one. They retrieved the artifo
So far, I'm absolutely caught up in this series. Each book drags you deeper and deeper into a world of drama, tragedy, hope, and excitement for the concept of, "What if?".
The second in this series delivers. A complex plot with lots of twists and turns means the pace is high. The characters are, as ever, well rounded and drawn and feel so real. Thoroughly recommended.
As a history buff I have always loved reading about the Templers. This was such a good story, well written and honestly, I had to put it down several times. It was intense and so much more than I could handle. It was good. The language, well I don't like reading the F Bomb, but it wasn't a lot and seemed to be the character's MO. Don't know if I'll continue the series. Not because it wasn't a good read, it was just a lot for me.
