赵桥村

Rate this book
In 2014, Gu Xiang moved from the urban district of Shanghai to Zhaoqiao village, which is close to the entrance of the Yangtze River and faces to Chongming island. The mere 20 kilometers change of space brought her unique feelings. As if entering the video game, Gu Xiang wandered between the city apartments and different places of the village, having an adventure among the seas of cars outside the village and mountains of garbage. And she witnessed a huge typhoon. Gu Xiang's prose and paintings are full of details, which are like a film, showing the brokenness of modern life and holiness of the eternal universe.
