Falling in love with Ruby was not part of the plan, and Dante was going to have to punish her for making him do just that. Especially once he learns who she really is and why she was sent to seduce him.

Short little prequel

Well, if nothing else, there is a freaking amount of hot, kinky, wild sex in this book. I little Ds also. Ruby and Dante feed off each other. Can’t wait to read next book!

That’d be gorgeous little RED HEADS and Special Agent Kennedy Jones fits that bill and is fully equipped to seduce the daylights out of Dante.
Dante knows there’s something suspicious about Ruby Rhodes. This little beauty matches his ideal woman to a tee and suddenly sits next to him. No problem, he’ll use her then send her on her way. While Kennedy, aka Ruby Rhodes, believes she will use Dante to get to her mark, the leader of the Guzman Cartel, Dante’s evil Uncle Enrique.
These two think they have the upper hand, but they are both falling in love… for real. I love this prequel to the Ensenada Heat series. For a “born into the cartel” man, Dante is a pretty good guy. He does have very dominant sexual tastes and seems to be able to show his prowess many times a day. WOW!
Kennedy/Ruby is surprised by her growing feelings for Dante which is making her job as a spy/assassin very difficult. There are tough decisions to be made. This story continues with “Inferno”, book 1 of Ensenada Heat. I have to read what happens with Dante and Kennedy. This was an awesome read. Linda

Ignition by Tess Summers is the Prequel to the Agents of Ensenada series. It’s the story of Dante and Ruby (Kennedy). She’s an undercover Special Agent and he’s the money man for the Guzman Cartel. She’s to infiltrate the Cartel through Dante.

This story is sooooooooooooo mesmerizing and touching!!! These two characters are perfectly flawed and perfect for each other. But, they’re in completely different worlds. They start to fall for one another and both know the end is coming…one way or another.

Can’t wait for the continuation of the incredibly addictive series!!!!!

I need to be careful, as I am introduced to yet another author I will be following.

The prequel to Ruby and Dante's story had me turning the pages, and thoroughly enjoying their interactions. Of course, it ends on a cliff-hanger, and I can't share everything. I'm rooting for Ruby to make the "right" decision; for me at least! Cannot wait to find out if she does!

I've just TBR'd everything Ms. Summers has written. Yep, I'm in trouble with my ever growing reading list!!!

Ignition - The Prequel is a sizzling hot read focusing on the relationship between Dante Guzman, moneyman for the Guzman cartel headed by his uncle, Enrique, and Ruby Rhodes/Kennedy Jones, an undercover CIA agent and assassin assigned to kill Enrique Guzman. I could not put this book down as it was a cat and mouse game between the characters. I highly recommend this prequel with its well developed characters and intriguing plot. The prequel does end in a cliffhanger and continues in the next book entitled Inferno.

This is a well written prequel to a new series. The author brings strong characters in Dante who is the money man in the Guzman cartel and Kennedy a.k.a. Ruby, a CIA assassin assigned to kill his uncle. She does a fantastic job pulling you in with this intriguing story line and paints her scenes in vivid detail. The chemistry between them sizzles and the sex scenes are explosive. I loved reading and am looking forward to the next book.

★ If it sounds too good to be true…★

—>>> An apt title for the definite attraction but uneasy relationship existing between Dante Guzman, cartel moneyman, and the agent tasked to get an “in” into their organization by making use of whatever means deemed necessary. Of course, it helps the she is the embodiment of everything Dante looks for in a woman. But you know the old adage “if it sounds too good to be true?” Well, it might just apply here. Looking forward to more of their story, to be continued in Inferno (Agents of Ensenada, Book #1)!

This is a prequel of Tess Summers series Agents of Ensenada. A great story that tantalizes with plenty of steam. The pages will turn themselves as you follow these characters.Kennedy (aka Ruby) is undercover CIA and Dante is tied to the Guzman Cartel, only Dante knows who Ruby really is, but she's too much to resist and yet she's too good to be true. Beware, this ends in a cliffhanger so you will be chopping at the bit for more!

I loved this book. Kennedy is working undercover for the CIA. She meets Dante who believes she is called Ruby. They begin an affair but what Kennedy doesn’t know is that Dante knows who she really is. He is more than happy with her mission that she is using him for. The chemistry between them is undeniable and the sex is sizzling. It provided me with a background prior to reading Inferno. I fell in love with the characters and was left wanting more. Brilliant.

This is the prequel to a new series. Dante is the money man of the Guzman Cartel, and when Kennedy / Ruby who is a CIA assassin whose assignment is to kill his uncle, and when they meet in a bar and she is all flirty towards him, he soon cottons onto the fact that she is not what she appears to be. This is a well written quick read which is intriguing, and I look forward to reading more in this series.

I enjoyed this book so much I can even get over the cliffhanger ending! It’s a short read and it’s filled to the brim with intrigue, suspense and steam. The 2 main characters have so much chemistry together that I’m amazed my iPad didn’t catch fire when I was reading this book. Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant!

A short prequel to the Agents of Esenada series and it's fabulous! You get to see how it all began with Dante Guzman and Kennedy Jones. Their chemistry is steamy hot as their battle for the truth interferes with their journey to love. Wonderful.

This book explained how Dante and Kennedy first met. Dante is onto her from the beginning although she doesn’t know that. He weaves her into his web until it’s almost too late for her to pull away. Really enjoyed reading this book that answered a lot of questions for me. Going to reread the series now.

I absolutely fell in love with Kennedy and Dante when I first read the sequel to this book Inferno. Again Tess absolutely smashed this prequel and made me fall in love all over again. That said I now need to go and reread inferno.

This is the story of Ruby and Dante. She’s undercover and is to use Dante to get into the Guzman cartel. What happens when they start to fall for each other which wasn’t part of the plan. Meh, this was so bland. All they did was have repeated sex, which from reading this author’s other works, I’m coming to believe she just copy/pastes the scenes from book to book. How are we to believe the heroine is an intelligence operative when she did zero to try to get any information out of this guy? She was just a sex toy. What a dumb book.

This is where it all began and it was nice finding out more about how Dante and Kennedy first met. There was a lot of crazy chemistry between those two and it was fun to read their wild antics.
