"We have, like the sky god’s wheel, come full circle."

A neat little introduction to the history, especially cultural, of Hadrian's wall. The sometimes scattered structure of the book is forgiven by the obvious passion and broad knowledge the author has for the subject. An awful lot about the Celtic sky god, though.
