Freedom from Bondage

“Came to Believe,” by Alcoholics Anonymous , is a compilation of stories from AA members describing their spiritual awakenings, also called spiritual experiences.

In order to stay sober and have the compulsion to drink removed, AA members seek a higher power.

There is no doctrine or dogma required in finding a Higher Power. Anyone can do this; whether a believer, non-believer, or skeptic.

AA members seek a higher power as they understand that higher power. More than 75 AA members share their experiences of how this happened to them in this book.
