KADEDUS - the demonic personification of envy
Kadedus envious of everything that his brother Lux has. Jealous of Lux and Sirena's relationship, he tries to get back at Lux by befriending Selma. Nothing goes as he expects, his attraction for Selma becomes deep seeded, something he is unsure of - but can he convince Selma that his affections are real? Can he lure her affections from Lux, or will he be kept forever wanting? Kade and Selma's relationship develops at a reasonably quick pace, but they soon realise that there is more than meets the eye to their pairing. Trust, understanding, and acceptance are themes heavily played upon within Kade's story. It is an enthralling story that brings the Brotherhood together to discover the mysteries surrounding Sirena and the unusual bond that develops between Kade and Selma.
The way in which Ms. Haining describes her different worlds, her characters and beings, and the emotions experienced is simply brilliant. The ending left me screaming for more. E.L. Haining is certainly going to leave her mark on the Paranormal World with this series.
An absolute MUST READ. A top read for 2021.

This story continues where book 1 left off. It is full of the drama still that continues from the first one. It is extremely well written and you deeply engaged into it. I sometimes feel that Selma and Kadedus have this attitude that their opinion is the only one that matters. It has me thinking of them less. They act as if a being can choose to love someone when it isn’t the same love they have. Life would be cruller if they were lead to believe they loved them the same. But, Kadedus and Selma think only of themselves. But, as the story progresses you can see changes in the sins. It has you so engaged as it continues. The story is definitely worth reading and doesn’t disappoint.

Kadedus picks up right after Luxure. The Brotherhood is fighting to protect Lux and Sirena. Kade and Selma use each other as a release but neither expected it to be anything more. When the Brotherhood has to come together to save Kade's life it changes the trajectory of all their futures. This story has suspense and mystery as well as being hot and steamy. Everytime they think they have answers they get nothing but more questions. Loving this series and it's unique twist on paranormal. I am excited for book 3.

The Cardinal Brotherhood is a great series. As Kadedus is helping his brother Lux and his girlfriend he unexpectedly ends up falling in love with Selma who helps saves his life. They end up with a soul bond that is amazing. No one understands it. Hellfire is coming and I can't wait to see what happens next.

Kadedus - the demon of Envy. Jealous of his brother's new life he seeks to separate the new couple. But does that ever backfire when he seduces Selma, his brother's best friend. Can he lure her affection from one she protected for over a 1000 years? Will his loyalties to the Brotherhood take precedence over his need for revenge?

The second book in the Cardinal Brotherhood series will not disappoint. This book focuses on Kade and Selma but you get to learn more about the other brothers as well. I found this book to be more fast pace then the first and a lot happens in this book. Plenty of drama and lots of story developments. I can not wait to find out how this story arc will end.
