I've been waiting for Cleo's story and was on pins and needles! Yes, that was a seriously good book. Cleo is a badass, but since she is the leader on Apocalypse she's always down-to-earth and very responsible. Hunter was not really described in the previous books, but we get to see his thoughts and actions. This book has serious action, steam, and heartache. It is fast-paced, easy-to read and very well-written. What is going to win though, love or duty?

Hunted # 5
Arcadia Shield writes some amazing stories. Each is a stand a lone but intertwine with the previous story. The intermingling is done very well and the connecting stories show what good author she is. I have enjoyed this series and am waiting impatiently for the next book. It's a different outlook on our Alien hot guys and an enjoyable one.

Cleo the woman and Hunter the Apexian are work partners and both have romantical leanings toward each other. Both are very involved in their work to save endangered species.
