apparently the author hasn’t updated in a couple months but i hope she does because that cliffhanger! omg :( i’m so attached to this world and i’ll be really sad if i have to say goodbye to it at a cliffhanger like that. anyway, i loved reading about hayden and chase rekindling what they have, i can feel their love through the screen

But from where it left of I am still satisfied and I can now guarantee to myself that they got their happy ending ☺️

well i can’t really write an actual review because the books isn’t finished and the author hasn’t updated in over a year so i don’t think the book will ever get an ending. But based on the 40 chapters I read the book was 4 stars it was good but it could compare to the first one. but for a sequel it was good

“He's become a habit of mine. I always search for his face in a crowd, he's the first person I send a meme to that I had found and he is a always my next thought. Fuck, if that doesn't boost he's already bursting ego then I don't know what will.” ❤️
Chase takes a step forward and wraps his arms around me. He places one hand to the back of my head and the other around my waist, keeping me steady against him. Slowly, my arms come up and wrap around his torso.
"Why are you like this?" I mumble into his shoulder as my tears slowly begin to fall, "Why do you have to care so damn much?"
"Because it's you, Jones."❤️
“I nod slowly, my brain running a hundred miles an hour. Chase's turns his wrist and intertwines our fingers as he passes me a supportive look. He was my calm in the chaos, my eye of the storm.”
“He stops eventually and we walk back to to hotel together. I stare at the side of his face the entire time. He was just so damn handsome and I couldn't get over it. He was also so caring and kind. He was carrying me on his back while holding my shoes for me. If that doesn't scream husband material i don't know what does. He didn't even object to it. He noticed how tired I was, bent down and said 'hop on' like it was nothing.”
I smile as I continue you play with the tips of his hair. Chase rests his head back against the chair while smiling fondly up at me, "Hey, how many kids do you want?"
"I mean, it's not really up to me is it?" Chase explains as his fingers begin to move up and down on my hips, the tips touching the exposed skin above the waistband. I frown in confusion and he continues, "If you can't handle giving birth again after our first one then I guess we stick with just the one." 🥺
My fingers freeze and I drop my hand from Chase's face. My entire brain buffered and my expression went blank as I stared at him with his stupid adorable smirk and soft eyes.
I wrap my arms around his neck as I hug him tightly, my face tucking into the crook of his neck as my eyes begin to water.
"I love you Hayden Jones. And I meant what I said about us spending the rest of our lives together." Chase says as he kisses me softly, "You're all I want, need and ever could need. Okay?"
"Okay, you cheeseball." I smile as I stare up at him, "I love you too."

four stars because cliffhanger!!! I love the characters in this book deeply. All of the characters have such a wonderful dynamic. Not to mention Haydens humor, right up my alley. I wish I could see the ending. My thoughts are that emily gets put in her place, chase leaves thomas, chase and hayden have a happy wedding.

technically this book is *not* fully finished but i finished all available chapters. it was a really good sequel, so many happy endings all around! i love all the couples with all my heart

Ongoing but so far loving it. I'm at the bit where he proposes and she slams the door out of shock and i just laughed. I love the humour but also the emotional connections all the friendships and relationships have! Guilty that I couldn't put this book dow

I hope the author's okay, she hasn't updated in a while and hope shes safe. I got sooooo attached to this book and every single character apart from emily ad luke 😭🤢 They all mean so much to me and without them my heart wouldn't be complete. The cliffhanger it got left on was LIKE JAW DROPPING AND NAIL BITING. Since I've finished it every night i rethhink different scenarios of what could happen and let it replay in my head. I live this book smmm.

BBR had me on a chokehold then BBS just drew me in harder. I wish once you knew this was the person you didn't have to worry about what everyone thinks but I think that's just how it goes. I fell in love with all the characters from BBR - BBS

God, AGAIN, the sexual tension, the way it CONTINUES in this sequel, i think thats very rare. i love how realistic everything in this book is. The jealousy trope and the way its shown in this particular book is out of this world. Literally. I just want to live in this goddamn universe.
