Football is my life, has always been my life. Until I met her. Willow is just the distraction I don’t need when I’m trying to restart my career from NFL player to the college coach.
What’s worse? She’s a freshman.
I may be the youngest NCAA head coach in history, but I’m still too old for her. Too big too, I played in the league as an offensive lineman. She’s tiny compared to me. Innocent, naïve, and completely off-limits—Willow tempts me even when she isn’t trying to.
I should walk away from her. But I can’t. She calls me her bear, and I’ve never wanted anyone the way I do her. If I have to fight off half my team to keep her to myself, I will. For her, I’ll risk my career and my reputation. Because winning her is the only game I can’t afford to lose.
Book 2 would have been great for me if it wasn't for OW drama and this was lot. it annoyed me because Theodore didn't say shit.. he didnt tell this woman to stop he would just ignore her.. still he should have said im not dating you something!! I know he didnt do it on purpose but still.. this ow caused alot of inner jealously for Willow and well ow was crazy... I was just annoyed so much and thought Willow deserved better. Glad she had Zoey and Reid as her friends.
If the ow drama didn't happen the only problem was Willow not wanting Theo to get in trouble since she was a student and he was a coach.. I wanted to like this because I did enjoy willow in book 1 she was a nice character.
No om drama and Ow drama (crazy chick) no cheating, drama, slight secondary character, sexy times, virgin gal and no manwhore
Recommend- ehh not really Cover-⭐⭐⭐ Heat level-🌶🌶

❣️Love that she gets the family she always wanted. His parents are so sweet and supportive.

❌My opinion is just that… MY OPINION. I know we all get passionate about our favorite reads and characters but we should respect each opinions a thoughts. ~Thank you
“You make me feel shit I don’t understand.” “The feeling is mutual.”
3rd read: each time I pick up this book I think it can’t be as good as my reviews said it was. Wrong! It really is that good. It also might have something to do with my football coach fetish.
2nd read - Still really enjoy this read. A great jealous/possessive hero.
Love it! 10 Stars! This book was just perfect for me. An age gap with a football coach and a student? Swoon! Hero that’s totally in love, obsessed with, and possessive of our heroine? Yes, please!
The story was awesome. The writing was great. Can not recommend this book enough! It’s definitely going on my re-read list! Check out my highlights for some snippets from this great love story.
Quick read but sweet and sexy. 18 year old h and 30 year old hero. I enjoyed it, I would even re-read. Could have been a 4 but 1/2 star off for a crazy ow moment that could have been left out and didn't contribuate a lot to the story. But, it's not a big ow causes drama book, she was sort of in the background until said moment.
"His Forever Love" is the story of Willow and Theo.
A football coach falls hard for a freshman in this sweet insta love romance. It delivered what it promised and the only reason I rated this what I did was that he WAS NOT her teacher!
4.25/5 stars Willow is enjoying college life with Reid and her BFF Zoey, one day while they are out they run into Reid’s coach, Theodore and his date Tiffany. When Theo looks up and sees Willow, he is instantly in love. He knows that she is what has been missing in his life. He’s stuck on this date, one he was tricked into going on by his mom. When he tries to get Reid and the girls to join him, Tiffany whispers to Willow they are interrupting her date, Willow being from an affluent family knows the equally affluent Tiffany, so she says they are leaving. Neither can stop thinking about the other and they find out they live in the same building. They try to stay away from each other but Theo catches her in the elevator one day and kisses her. When the doors open Zoey sees them in a passionate embrace. I loved the banter between Willow, Zoey, and Reid, they are such good friends and have Willow’s back. She’s worried he’s dating and he’s worried she will start dating, he confesses it’s nothing with Tiffany and tells her to stay away from guys. I loved her nickname for him, Bear. The elevator becomes their meeting/kissing spot, they time their arrival and departures to spend time in elevator together everyday. At the next game Tiffany arrives and sits with his parents, unfortunately the seats are right above Willow and Zoey’s seat. They chit chat and after the game Willow can’t even acknowledge Her Bear so she leaves. He finds her later leaving a frat party and carries her off. He takes her to his apartment where they are about to have sex but since she’s a virgin he waits and just satisfies her orally. They continue meeting secretly and Tiffany continues to pursue Theo. The girls use Willow’s dad’s private jet to attend an away game, Willow surprises Theo and they have their first time together. After Theo leaves for the stadium Tiffany’s shows up, she asks if it’s Theo’s room, Willow pretend that it’s her room, but she wonders how she knew which room was Theo’s. They spend every night together and when the team goes to the championship, the girls go too. Willow suspects she is pregnant but before she can take the test, Tiffany shows up and tells her she is pregnant with Theo’s baby and if Willow doesn’t break up with him and give her money she will release photos she secretly took of Theo and Willow. She takes Willow’s phone and texts Theo that they are over. Theo doesn’t believe it, but is blindsided when a reporter asks about his pregnant fiancé Tiffany. He denies she’s his fiancé and that he is the father of her baby. Tired of all the secrecy and wanting Willow to know he’s hers, after the team wins he goes into the stand and kisses her then proposes. This pushes Tiffany over the edge, she comes to their hotel room with a gun. Luckily Reid tackles her before she shoots anyone. Epilogue many years later with Theo coaching still and two boys and twins on the way. This would have definitely been a 5 star read ifTheo had maned up and handled the Tiffany thing. She caused so much angst for Willow.

H made me uncomfortable, so so much!!! SOOOOOOO MUCH UNCOMFORTABLE ABOUT HOW HE REACTED ANOUT OTHER WOMAN.
I think H wasn’t really know nothing about how to ignore and say NO to OW, he was just enjoying this feeling, he OF COURSE know other woman was crazy about him, OKKK? AND he was so enjoying about it!!!!
So many men in the real world being like this, sometimes they say things like: I didn’t noticed, or/ it was nothing a big deal.
But, many men are falling in love with this kind of feeling that👉🏻👉🏻women out there always couldn’t help throwing themselves to him.
(They think: I am attractive and it’s normal other woman was crazy in love with me, so my girlfriend/my wife should be easy about all of those shit😬😬😬, right?? Because it was nothing!!- they try so hard to convince themselves, and made themselves believe it.)
🤣🤣maybe it was men’s slut-humanity in their blood.
Ew….so, does the man like this, they really didn’t notice other woman was annoying and impact his life?
Pff….😤
OHHHHHHH, COME ONNNN, they do noticed!!! Because they are not really in a vegetative state, okkkk??? They have brain, they can think, they just pretend they forgot and pretend they are stupid as hell.🌝🌝🌝
They just think it wasn’t a big deal, and they always began to think their women were easily to get jealous!!!! 🥸🥸🥸
😬😬😬😬.WTFFF……

I truly loved this book...EVEN tho there was OW drama!! However, it didn’t detract from the story since the hero had no relationship or interest in the OW, so it was bearable.
The hero is driven, focused and committed to football and has no time for the distractions of females..until he gets one look at the heroine and SPLAT!!! down he falls! He tries for a few valiant weeks to stay away from her, aware of their age difference, she’s a student and he’s a coach, but it’s a futile effort. She’s his and he has to claim her! i absolutely adored that he wasn’t a slimy manwhore and had been celibate for a very long time.
Celibate hero, virgin heroine. No abuse or cheating. No OM drama, but OW drama from a jealous female who wants the hero for herself. No abuse or cheating of any kind. HEA with epilogue.
I absolutely adored Willow and Theodore. Willow has felt unloved all her life. Her parents equate giving her money to love. Willow just wanted a family to love and to be loved by. Theo came from a very loving and supportive family. There was a little OW drama. Not that Theo was going to put up with that mess. But she did try.
This story had great characters that were easily likeable.
I don’t usually like insta love or the pregnancy trope but this was so adorable. Incredibly heart warming and sweet 🥺 I’m now going to binge read Lucy Darling’s novels as I have fallen in love with these lil spicy romances. ‘People think she’s single. I want to stamp on her forehead that she’s mine’ 😮💨 we love a man who’s possessive.
Dios la trama de este libro es una locura. ya el instalove me sacaba de quicio pero todo lo que hicieron en esta novela es de verdad crazy!!! se fumaron una buena para poner todo lo que paso en esta historia corta
We got a glimpse of Willow and Theo's relationship at the end of "His Forever Girl", and it was a delicious tease. I am glad to say that the book did not disappoint.
The first time Theo lays eyes on Willow he is in the middle of a forced blind date set up by his mother. Willow walks in with Reid and Zoey from the first book and Theo is immediately trying to get the trio to join them. I am sure part of it was to get a buffer between him and Tiffany, but what he really wanted was to be close to Willow. It's a good thing that they live in the same building.
The attraction is unspoken, and forbidden (as Theo is the football coach and Willow is a freshman), but strong. Theo follows her back to their building one day after spying her with a male classmate and basically lays a steamy kiss on her in the elevator.
The progression of their relationship in the beginning was the only part that felt off. After the initial kiss, they basically play a game of him "running into" her in the elevator and using the time to make out. When the elevator door opens, Willow saunters out and it is like it never happened. On one hand, it's exciting because it's illicit. On the other hand, the lack of communication at that point was head scratching. They do progress to a full relationship that they keep hidden due to his position, even if everyone close to them (including his parents) know.
All of the drama comes from an outside source in the shape of the woman from that forced blind date refusing to give up on her pursuit of Theo. Other than that, the story is surprisingly low angst and just a really sweet and steamy ride. There is an epilogue many years out where everything is tied up with a neat bow. This is a quick, satisfying read that I recommend for anyone looking for uncomplicated and heart warming.
Plot: Theo is the football coach where Willow goes to school. She's going to see him a lot because her best friend dates a football star. Theo sees Willow and instantly falls in love. Also, it turns out that Theo and Willow live in the same building. However, she's a student, and he thinks it would be a bad idea to date her. He can't stop thinking about her though. She feels the same. The rest of the book focuses on how they develop their relationship, especially in the context of their positions at school and the interference of another woman (no cheating).
Character development: Willow is super sweet, but also has a naughty side that I didn't expect. Theo was abrupt in his decision changes, which was a little jarring. However, once he really made up his mind, he was all in. I did like his growly side, like when he talked to Reid about the frat party. I hate that they had to hide their relationship as long as they did, but I understand. The other woman was a bit of a caricature, but maybe I just haven't' ever known anyone as awful as her before.
Lucy Darling is at the top of my go to authors. Quick reads, but what she manages to pack into those chapters is a guaranteed happily ever after.
Theo is coaching college football after a successful career in the NFL he’s back home and doing what he loves. He has no time for romance nor is he interested. That’s until Willow enters the picture.
Willow is super sweet a freshman she’s excited to be living with her best friend Zoey and away from her life back home. Her parents are distant, they love her in there own way but are too focused on their own lives to see that she needs more.
When she spots Theo the new football coach it’s instant love, on both sides. He’s older, she’s innocent but that’s not going to stop them.
It’s over the top yummy, minimum drama, damn hot chemistry and a story you can get behind. Footballs not the only thing this coach is aiming for. He’ll have Willow and he’ll give her the family and life she craves.
This cute insta-love novella has very hot and endearing moments. Yes, both.
A man obsessed with a forbidden woman offers great chances at steamy encounters, yet he is also trying to respect her and keep his gruff, grumpy self away from her youth and innocence. I loved the elevator scenes and the playful way they exchange messages. Theodore is a college football coach and Willow is a student and friend of Zoey's whom we met in the previous novella.
I liked Willow, her independence that is tempered with a yearning to be loved. There are some family scenes that put that need in the spotlight. It is also fun to see this couple tease each other while they can't really stay away.
The relationship takes place over a longer period of time than usual, something I liked. The last events are quite exciting, and the surprise in the epilogue is perfect. One of my favourites by this author.
Willow was so sweet and just wanted to be loved and accepted. And she found it in the unlikely brute bear of a man Theo. Except Theo is the new head football coach.
Theo wants Willow but she’s too young, off limits. But once he decides she belongs to him, he plays to win her heart.
A bit of drama and taboo follow but so does their HEA!
Adorable semi age gap book. I am all for the quick reads that don't seem like is insta love. Lucy Darling does an excellent job of projecting a timeline for the falling of characters. It is your typical love story with a HEA. <3 BougieBookie
