This is the final bit of our story and it’s an insane one. We left the fourth book with someone getting shot in the head and that changes the trajectory of things a little bit.
That person was Martin – Harley’s bodyguard and Julie’s boyfriend. We knew that they were in love and now that’s been crushed…and Julie blames Harley. So this means that we see a strong friendship torn apart and that’s a tough pill to swallow knowing how much they mean to each other.
When Martin’s killed, Harley finds herself in the hospital as well. She was hit by the assassins bike and now she’s lost her baby. So we really do start this last book on a sad note. There’s really no hope for any happiness for these guys.
So from that point we watch the misery and depression kick in. we watch the uncertainty take hold and wonder if there’s a glimmer of hope to bring things back together.
What we see come out of all this is the starting of something interesting. Harley forces herself to question things that she didn’t think about before. She never thought much about Parker’s background before and now she’s pushed into doing all this research to learn who he is, where he’s from and try to understand why she’s his target. The path that she goes down isn’t a safe one, but she’s still able to learn more on her own than with the help of the police or the PI.
The other story line is Liddell – getting controlling power over Minetta isn’t enough. He forces Jackson to stay on as CEO and then pushes him to make these big shows of romance etc to raise the positive PR of the company so that he can get a good price when it goes public and get out of the business. So that means that he forces Jackson to do a showy proposal and a showy wedding. The challenge becomes that he knew at one point Harley would say yes but now he’s not so sure. If he doesn’t do all these things for Liddell, then we have no idea what will happen.
The journey in this story is one of rediscovery, pain, anguish and trying to find what the future will hold. Relationships that we thought were strong are gone, and relationships that we hoped would be strong are on fragile ground.
There’s fear of the notion Parker is still out there and we don’t know what he’s going to do next – and that means that no one is safe. We also have Aurora as a bit of a loose canon since she doesn’t know what it is that she wants in life, although she’s realized that Jackson probably was it at one point.
The conclusion that we get is a good one for the way that this story evolved. It’s a shame that story lines ended as they did for so many of our main characters, but I think that sometimes we have to accept the bitter sweet aspect of things, and realize that reality isn’t perfect.

Charlotte Byrd left me in shock at the end of Book 4 and had me sobbing at the beginning of Book 5 Tangled Up in Love. This Tangled Series has surely tangled up every emotion along the way but I wouldn't have had it any other way. The roller coaster I have been on has been so exhilarating I am sad to say goodbye to Jackson and Harley as I get off this ride.
Their love has had ups and downs, drama, jealousy, death, danger, kidnapping, you name, it was there. But above all was love and passion off the charts! Through it all their love prevailed and they were able to find their Happily Ever After. Maybe a little worse for wear. A lot wiser. Their love so much stronger. I loved this series and recommend it! You will fall in love with this couple just like I did!

Finally I have finished reading this series.I was not into this series from the very first day but since I started reading it I wanted to complete it and not leave it in the middle. This is one of those books which has a good story to it but its not written well and this is totally my point of view. When a person reads a book they want to connect to the book, want to feel the characters and what is happening in their life but while this reading this book it was more like I just have to finish it . So I was not into this book that much that's it..

Conflicted
I'm not sure how to figure out what disappointed me besides the ending. I absolutely hate abrupt endings. Yes,ball the loose ends were tied up but their just wasn't enough action and passion for me. It was just kind of blah. An epilogue a couple years in the cute would have been great. I have to say I'm sorry I spent that much money when I've borrowed better books on KU. On a more positive note the storyline was good and most of the characters.

This is the last book in a 5-part series. Each book ends with a major cliffhanger. There were too many storylines and it just felt like everything was getting dragged out.

Starting with the mystery bike messenger whose actions closed “TANGLED UP IN HATE,” and the ramifications and reactions to what happened (Yes, you will have to read the book to find out what ominous event occurred!) through to the promised HEA of “TANGLED UP IN LOVE,” readers get to travel along on an emotional but thrilling ride with Jackson and Harley. “TANGLED UP IN LOVE” also includes a section that can only be called an ode to Byrd’s readers as Harley gives voice to the deeply heartfelt gratification and inspiration she receives when readers take the time not only to read her book, but to write her a letter telling Harley, an author of Indie Romances, how the book helped, motivated, or inspired them. We find out even more about Harley and Jackson as Byrd takes them and her readers through some situations that would break most people, and yet Harley and Jackson find ways to learn and grow instead. Throughout “TANGLED UP IN LOVE,” Byrd’s prose is eloquent, easy to read, and tremendously descriptive. As a reader, I felt as though I was in the midst of the emotion, the fights and the hugs. I voluntairly reviewed an advance copy of this book, it should be more than 5 stars!! What an emotional way to end this intense story of Jackson and Harley. Charlotte Byrd has once again given her readers a thrilling experience into the Tangled Series that was suspensful, sad, filled with a lots of passion and much more. With all of the drama, danger, twists and turns that surrounds Jackson and Harley, Tangled up in Love will captivate you and evoke so many emotions that you will be on edge from beginning to end. With all of the loss and heartbreak that led to friendships broken and shady business dealings, can Jackson and Harley get back the love they had and truly move on? Now each are keeping secrets as danger surrounds them again which leads them on a path to seek revenge and the healing that is needed to get back the life they were always meant to have. In the end Jackson and Harley's everlasting love is indestructible in spite all the suffering that have had to overcome they find that love will conquer all. The was a well written and enthralling story that should not be overlooked and is a must read. I highly recommend this book, you will not be disappointed. Can't wait for the next adventure, thank you Charlotte!!

Jackson and Harley have gone through so much in there lives together and apart that I feel I have gone through it with them and been part of there journey. This is a dark series along with emotional and physical pain but the chemistry between them is off the charts and just gets stronger as there love evolves. The loses that they have had would have finished most people but even though they are in pain and going through the motions of living they are extremely strong apart and together. I am so glad that they eventually got there happy ending after everything that they have gone through. OMG this series has blown me away not only with the twists and turns but with the amazing writing that Charlotte does and all that she puts into her books, she is truly an incredible writer and amazing author. I have had the honour of reading and reviewing this series along with all her other books and I have to say it was my pleasure to do it and I definitely recommend you read this series and her other books you will not be disappointed at all.

Tangled Up In EMOTIONS!
An epic ending for this series that Charlotte left no stone unturned filling in all the gaps an unanswered questions that plagued me throughout this series and just when you think it can't get any more intense....holy helll it sure the flip does. Talk about toying with your emotions. This one brings out the best and worst of you taking everything from you to get to the end in one piece or a blundering mess gasping for air trying to burn through the suspense filled twists and turns as humanly possible as the drama sucks you in and the steamy chemistry sinks its thrilling pleasure ridden words into your intimate bits that had me shuddering in pleasure with a moist for more! A fantastic must read that keeps you captivated from the first page to the last.

Jackson and Harley’s story continues. This book is gut wrenching. Have your Kleenex close by. After all the turmoil they’ve been through will this be their final straw? Can they overcome all the heartache? Andrew gets more involved in the business which forces Jackson’s hand. Even though it’s to save Harley and what’s left of their relationship. Is it worth doing? Jackson will do anything to protect her. Though Aurora and Harley become somewhat friends Jackson doesn’t think it’s best. Harley feels as though she has lost everything between her stalker and the shooting. She struggles to overcome, but in the end she fights back. She decides to become the hunter instead of the hunted. I didn’t want Jackson and Harley’s love story end. They’ve been through so much. Love conquers all!!!

So many emotions were felt as I read this book. Sadness when they lost the baby. Heartbreak with how they dealt with losing a child and the possible ending to a friendship. Worried when Jackson was being forced to do certain things because I was afraid of Harley's reaction. Hope that everything would turn out okay.
Jackson and Harley deserved to find their happy ending and the way they worked together, and separately, to figure out what exactly was going on and the who and why of everything had me on the edge of my seat. I only wish that her friend could have found happiness as well, what happened to Martin was heartbreaking, but I want her to be happy too. Maybe another series can be about her.

I'm Tangled Up
This entire series is like reading another epic love story for the ages. It's like a glimpse of their life and the ups and downs that some people live through, and we would never know.
I had gotten soo, TANGLED UP IN.. this series i hate to see it end. I certainly am glad I was there to see it all unfold.
I can't tell you how much I really, REALLY enjoyed reading about Jacks and Harls'.
Well, if I'm correct in my thinking, CB has another GREAT series she's going to introduce to me (hopefully soon, LOL)

Tangled up in Love by Charlotte Byrd
I can say I truly miss Harley and Jackson. They became a part of my life. I love all the books in this series. I can not believe how many ups and down this story has in it. This story had me from the beginning to the end. This is one story I will read again and again. The action in book five holds your interest like all four books before. I highly recommend this series, will not be disappointed. This series is built around Jackson and Harley life and relationship including their friends, loves and stalker. I received an advanced reader copy and have voluntarily chosen to leave a review. This is my honest opinion.

WOW just WOW: I received this book as an ARC for my honest review. No Holds Bar on the Final book in the Series. WOW what an amazing end to a fantastic series that is full of suspense, emotional, intense and steamy and book 5 does not leave any of this out. This book had me on the edge of my seat waiting to see what will happen next, be prepared to be on the edge from beginning to end just like the rest. Will they find their happily ever after, well you will just have to see for yourself and get the kleenix out. Charlotte has not pulled any stops in this series. Well Done Charlotte, I just love your books and can't wait to see what you have in store next for us all to read.

This is the final book to the series and the author holds nothing back! She once again delivers an action packed , suspenseful story filled with tons of emotions that spill through the pages. Questions are answered and relationships grow. She builds the story beautifully with her descriptive characters and scenes and had me captivated from start to finish reading this book. I loved and highly recommend this book / series. Well done!!

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. Wow, what an amazing end to this series. I’m so sad to see it end though, but I can’t wait to see what’s coming next for all of us. I have to agree with other reviewers that this ending was epic. All our unanswered questions, were answered, it was intense, emotional, on the edge of your seat waiting with bated breath for what’s to come. Their story was an enthralling, gripping tale of unrequited loved. So good, you won’t want to put this down until the end and still you will want more. Loved it, and I highly recommend it.

Jackson and Harley finally get their happily ever after. Charlotte Byrd knows how to tell a story. She builds the suspense and always leaves you wanting for more. She doesn’t shy away from the hard issues, but tackles them head on beautifully. Harley and Jackson’s story reminds us of the beauty in taking second and third chances. It also supports love over money and supports trust, honesty, and hard work. They were a beautiful broken couple who were able to mend with the love they gave each other.

What a great ending to an epic love story that has led the reader through the heartache, pain, and ultimately the HEA for Jackson and Harley. This story has it's fair share of danger, some twists and turns, but what a beautiful story about how love for someone can make you both stronger and after their heartbreak, they can find their way back together. This is the 5th and final book in the series and I do recommend reading them in order. Harley and Jackson’s story continues. Lots of emotion and so much intense drama and suspense. I was hooked from beginning to end wanting to turn how their story would end. Harley and Jackson have been through so much together. Can their relationship truly survive anymore? Amazing characters and a story that will take you on a roller coaster ride of emotion. I was hooked from beginning to end. I loved it!

Done it again
The is a review of the entire five book series. Like all her books it is a great piece of work. Readable, engaging and best of all characters that are believable. Whatever predicament Charlotte Byrd puts her characters in they react in ways that are true to themselves. I really appreciate that. They are also pretty well proofed. I hate mistakes while I am engrossed in a story. Trust me you will love this series,
the characters and all the twists and turns that finally gets them to a happy ending.
The is a review of the entire five book series. Like all her books it is a great piece of work. Readable, engaging and best of all characters that are believable. Whatever predicament Charlotte Byrd puts her characters in they react in ways that are true to themselves. I really appreciate that. They are also pretty well proofed. I hate mistakes while I am engrossed in a story. Trust me you will love this series,
the characters and all the twists and turns that finally gets them to a happy ending.

This is the final piece to Jackson and Harley's romance. For the full story you must start at book one and read through the books in order. This series was simply so good. Intense, dramatic, suspenseful, steamy and incredible emotional, this series puts your emotions through the ringer as this couple has had to fight every step of the way to a HEA. Beautiful, exciting and powerfully moving, this series is not to be missed. This is my independent, impartial review.

I received an arc of this book for a fair and honest review. What a great ending to a book that had it all. Sometimes I thought I had more angst quickly flippin* through pages than Hailey did on this wild ride on speed. No stone was left unturned when it came tying this story up and putting it to bed...puns galore. There was not one moment of disappointment, never a sec that this book lagged and like 3very single one of this author’s books...I kinda hate myself for loving it.

Ok series but too expensive
Harley and Jackson meet in a very unusual circumstances, but it truly chances their lives. The instant connection of meeting Harley makes Jackson want to find her. This series is expensive and it could be much cheaper and doesn’t warrant the cost. The story is good but 4 of 5 books end at 85%. Would I buy again? Not for price I paid other books are better story content and cheaper.

Just wanted to tell you that your stories have helped me with slot of dark times my husband and I are going thru. Without your stories I don't think I could keep myself trying to find a happy momentum. They have been a wonderful escape. Thank you for your gifted writing. Tangled Up In Love is my favorite Charlotte Byrd book yet! It is so emotional in so many ways. By book 5 I was pretty sure I knew exactly what would happen and it would be a throw away happily ever after book. It is the exact opposite. Jackson and Harley have so much more story to tell. I really had a hard time putting this book down. I pretty much read the whole thing in one setting!!

This book is the perfect ending to the series. The romance is there and the writing is amazing like always. The storyline is so interesting that it grabs you and doesn’t let go. The characters are very entertaining and charming. A very lovely book.

An amazing well written conclusion to a fantastic edge of your seat romance suspense. Harley and Jackson both with broken pasts able to conquer and mend with their love winning above all. This storyline has a lot twists and turns, danger, love, loss, and steamy scenes finally putting an end to the horror they have all been living through. I honestly and voluntarily reviewed this ARC.
