"On these pages, Tyler's creative wisdom shines, and his focus always remains on Jesus."
--Beth & Jeff McCord, co-founders of Your Enneagram Coach, best-selling authors of Becoming Us: Using the Enneagram to Create a Thriving Gospel-Centered Marriage

Are you living life to the fullest or playing it safe?

For the Enneagram Nine—the Peacemaker—life is all about going along to get along. While our increasingly divisive world needs your voice and healing presence, sometimes the desire to keep things calm causes you to avoid conflict, mask your true desires, and sacrifice relational intimacy.

Certified Enneagram Coach and pastor, Tyler Zach, offers this devotional to help nudge you into the spotlight and to show up fully in the world because your presence matters.

As you dig into each individual devotion, you’ll find the courage to take more risks, push through distractions, overcome procrastination, be more assertive and decisive, and remove the leadership lid you may be placing on yourself because of fear or self-doubt. Over the next 40 days, you’ll begin to discover ways you might be—unintentionally—blocking the path to your dreams so that God can unleash your full potential.

I really enjoyed this book. I felt so seen. This book takes many of the uncomfortable things about being a nine and tells you how to work on it or improve it. I have tons of sentences highlighted, and I’ll be referring back to this book often!

First the obligatory recitation that I asked to review this, and was thus provided with an electronic review copy. No other inducements were made or offered.

Tyler Zach is a game changer. I've read devotionals. I read about the Enneagram a couple years ago... but what Zach has been doing, first on social media and now in a series of books, is combining his knowledge of people and the Christian faith with his well-researched understanding of the Enneagram. This is good stuff.

How good? I asked to review the book and I'm not even a type 9. I was so curious about how Tyler made this happen that I just had to see it. And what I saw was smart, thoughtful, and very spirit filled. Each of the 40 days includes scripture and reflection on how the inherent nature of a 9 may be challenged or fulfilled by day-to-day facets of a walk with Christ. This is hands on stuff, not pie in the sky type of writing. The questions or exercises after the day's lesson are practical and well constructed.

Highly, highly recommended. I mean, it's probably better if you actually are a 9... but whatever your type, my understanding is that Tyler has a similar book in print or in progress.

Loved, loved, loved this! It helped me so much, the reflection questions really get at some deep things, and the action steps at the end of each devotional are uncomfortable (especially for 9s) but so helpful to follow through and really put this into action. Would definitely recommend anybody to do one on their enneagram number.

This book spoke straight to my 9-ness and gave me the loving but firm push I needed to keep pushing against my grain and into growth. I highly recommend it!

Trite and simplistic. Only a very few chapters were valuable to my understanding of self through the lens of the enneagram, and the scriptures were often poorly connected to the topic.
