Two stubborn alpha men meet the one boy who wants them both…
Denali knows what he wants. He loves his job in the Residence of the White House, but what he craves is serving. A Dom. Or in his case: two.
When tragedy strikes once again, Denali offers himself to Milan, the president’s brother in law. Milan accepts, but he insists Secret Service agent Asher joins them as well. Denali is more than fine with that. Two hot, dominant men is even better than one, right?
One encounter leads to more. Asher warns Denali that he can’t fall for Milan, that the tough, closed off Dom will break his heart. He’s learned that the hard way himself. But Denali knows no other way than to give himself completely, and he’s willing to deal with the consequences.
When Milan and Asher prove to be too stubborn to see the truth, it’s Denali who shows them that love is worth taking a risk for. But will it be enough to bring them together? And how will everyone heal and move on after the most devastating blow yet?
Serve is an MMM gay romance with an age gap, featuring a Dom, a switch, and a super sweet boy. It’s the fourth book in the White House Men series, a continuing MM romantic suspense series set in the White House that needs to be read in order. Serve ends with a happily ever after, but the suspense plot ends on a cliffhanger and will be continued in the rest of the series.
Would you like the long or the short version of my bio?
The short? You got it.
I write steamy gay romance books and I love it. I also love reading books. Books are everything.
How was that?
A little more detail? Gotcha.
I started writing my first stories when I was a teen…on a freaking typewriter. I still have these, and they’re adorably romantic. And bad, haha. Fear of failing kept me from following my dream to become a romance author, so you can imagine how proud and ecstatic I am that I finally overcame my fears and self doubt and did it. I adore my genre because I love writing and reading about flawed, strong men who are just a tad broken..but find their happy ever after anyway.
My favorite books to read are pretty much all MM/gay romances as long as it has a happy end. Kink is a plus… Aside from that, I also read a lot of nonfiction and not just books on writing. Popular psychology is a favorite topic of mine and so are self help and sociology.
Hobbies? Ain’t nobody got time for that. Just kidding. I love traveling, spending time near the ocean, and hiking. But I love books more.

⇢ Milan: (46) special adviser to the president and his best friend, the First Lady’s brother, NYPD detective, a Dom, vers
⇢ Asher: (36) Secret Service Agent on the protective detail of the First Lady, a switch, vers, has a soft spot for Milan after past encounters in a NY club
⇢ Denali: (younger) supporting staff in the White House, a sub, bottom
I wasn’t sure how I would like this one with me always struggling with heaves D/s dynamics but overall I loved this book, the three main characters and their dynamics. It reminded me a whole lot of Alpha’s Pride, tbh (only without the kink) but in the way Denali and Asher teamed up to show Milan that they were it for him. ♡
In addition I found it pretty funny to see who had sex with whom already in the past *lmaooo
God, they were a bunch of incestuous fuckers, weren’t they?
I even found myself getting more and more invested in the main, overarching suspense plot again. *Please heed TWs.
********** White House Men Series:
Book 1 - Press - 4.5 stars Book 2 - Friends - 3.75 stars Book 3 - Click - 4.25 stars Book 4 - Serve - 4.0 stars Book 5 - Care Book 6 - Puzzle Book 7 - Heal
Every book follows a new couple but the series has an overarching suspense plot and the books need to be read in order.
First, let me start with the fact that this book is the best in the series so far, and these men are very close to Coulson and Seth as my faves.
What I Loved:
The Characters:
- All the men were lovable and vulnerable, each in their way. I felt the difference of each character, their strength and weaknesses.
Milan: The FLOTUS's brother and the president's best fried. A talented experienced Dom, and a man with buried feelings which need to come to the surface. #Uncover
Asher: Secret Service Agent, Switch who struggles to give away his control and has trust issues... #TrustUs
Denali: White House staff, Submissive in desperate need of a Dom,,, or maybe two? #ILiveToServe
2. The Plot... The plot is ongoing from book 1: Who is behind the Pride Parade bombing, and other terrorist attacks and murders? There are many surprises that come up in this book. I love how it was spaced out. It wasn’t concentrated in one place in a way that could have been intense or overshadowed the romance. It was engaging, suspenseful and it kept me on the edge of my seat. I love the little clues, but never letting us have a sure thing. We also follow the three men as they learn to trust each other, follow their instincts and fall head first into a poly relationship. #RoomForMore
The Relationship/Romance: - The pacing of the relationship was on point. Nothing felt rushed or insta-lovey. Maybe a little fast with Denali, but I think it’s true to his personality. - I loved how Ash and Milan’s history was brought to the relationship, to reinforce their love for each other, and to show how both of them were protecting themselves from the other. - Denali was the one with all the power in the relationship and that was refreshing. He was a sub through and through, but he was also the one who made the big bad Doms see what was right in front of them. The Plot:
The Steam: Holy freaking hotness. This was the steamiest book in the series by far, but it never felt OTT for me. Each sex scene had a reason for being written -- to break down walls, to reassert roles, to highlight feelings... they were hot but important as well. #PantiesWentPoof I also loved the push-pull between Ash and Milan. They highlighted a switch’s fears perfectly.
Angst-o-meter: Minimal angst between the MCs. #NiceAndEasy
The Ending: HFN for our throuple ...happy and together. #MoreComing
I knew who the devastating loss was going to be before I even began reading it, because they were the only 'expendable' character.
However, I also appreciated that it wasn't a straight forward or simple approach and that the loss brought the investigation into the terrorist plotting another step forward.
It was an interesting play to make for the series and I'm wondering if it's partly setting up a potential new romance option further down the line.
I'm not sure how I'd feel about that, but I'm well happy with the relationship and romance I got in this book.
Oh my lawd it was volcanic hot, lustful, powerfully engaging and did I mention hot yet?!
A true triad with each one bringing something uniquely theirs and much needed to the romance.
Denali was incredible, a submissive with a backbone of steel. And both Asher and Milan needed that strength.
There's a double age gap, one between Denali and the other two, but also a smaller one between Asher and Milan.
But, for me anyways, this doesn't feel like an age gap romance so much as a pure Dom/sub one.
Asher fascinated me with his duality as a verse switch. Milan is full blown justified arrogance. He's an experienced Dom but utterly clueless about feelings.
Seeing them navigate their way into each other's hearts is a real head rush.
The over arcing narrative also moves on, with more interesting developments involving domestic angles. I'm pleased this is going down a less traditional pathway for the bad guys, although still not an out of left field one.
It's a scary world at times and this storyline is sadly not at all beyond the realm of possibility.
I'm thinking next up might be Kenn and his Tutor in a possible Daddy/boy or maybe little romance and I'm totally down for that!
Love, love, love Nora Phoenix and the White House Men series, but this was probably my least favourite so far. Totally adored Milan and Asher and their dynamic, but wasn’t completely feeling the poly relationship with Denali too, and the change in Milan by the end.
This is Not my original Review...I revied it on 12/12 I still love Nora Phoenix. I have nearly all of her books and have reread them many times over...but even if you read in or out of order for this series...it doesn't seem to matter.... most of the characters are still unlikable. I'm making a "correction" to my original review.... including raising the rating from a 2star rating to a 3star rating. I have never, ever, given a Nora Phoenix book this low a rating, but I really can't go any higher than a 3. I think on reflection that it probably may have been the voices that the narrator, (who is also a favorite of mine), gave these three men more than the content of the story. They were supposed to be 'tough", confident, "take no survivors" in their roles as Secret Service agents assigned to the President's detail. The narration for the voices of the three men came across extremely rough and loud whenever the characters were talking. It didn't matter if it was to outsiders or to one another or when they were together as lovers. It just didn't seem that people that love one another would speak like that.... every time. The story is continued so we still, after 40 something chapters, don't know who killed the First Lady or if the President is a good guy or a bad guy. "bad" has my vote:) I still love Nora Phoenix and thought I was a bit harsh in my frustration with this one and it was probably something that she had no control over. I believe that I should have read the physical copy of the book.
Oh dear, my least favourite of the series so far. The threesome felt forced as though it was just something to throw into the overall mix of the series as a whole, and to be perfectly honest, in view of what was actually going on in the story at the time, surely the last thing that an active secret service agent, a young waiter in the residence and an extremely experienced NYPD cop should've/would've been doing is getting down and dirty in one of the rooms of the White House? And yes, I know it's fiction but... 3.25 stars from me, and once again, I've ignored the 5 star ARC reviews below.
As far as the assassination/bombing narrative is concerned, we crept slowly forwards and a few more clues emerged. Unfortunately, we had the usual fare of wrong verb tenses, incorrect usage of words and yet another word that doesn't appear in my English dictionary...rewet 🤔. It's time Nora Phoenix and I called it quits I'm afraid. I won’t be finishing this series so stick a fork in me, I'm done.🙁
Hmm... I don’t know about this. Not that I’m against MMM or poly. I’ve read many poly books but this one just didn’t feel very natural to me. Also, I did not like Milan very much. Not even at the end 😖
For me the best parts of this story was the overarching storyline that’s linked all these books together. I wanted to know THAT outcome more than I cared for Milan and his boys 🙊
So, apparently I’m all in with this series right now. The romance is a little cheesy and mushy at times and 4 books in the premise of all these couples/throuples all being in the White House seems completely non-realistic but I don’t care. The mystery of who’s behind the assassinations and attacks is still intriguing and I wanna see it all play out.
I love Nora Phoenix's writing and world-weaving, but maybe it's time to admit that this series is not really for me.
The series has a fine balance between suspense and romance, and while the suspense plot becomes increasingly more intense, it becomes more and more entangled in the overall stories of each installment.
Even in another book, I'm not sure I would have connected too much with the throuple anyways, because throuples and strict d/s relationship are not my jam (at the moment at least).
Add to that, that the suspense/romance balance was perhaps tipped a little more towards suspense in this book, which has made it a book that took me relatively long to finish.
I am still invested in the suspense plot, and I know of other pairings in the series that I would like to see have a happy ending, but this installments was not my favorite.
Serve is the fourth book in Nora Phoenix’s White House Men series and a great installment. While this relationship stands alone well, the series has an overarching suspense plot that requires reading from the beginning to best follow along with that aspect of the storyline.
I really enjoyed the dynamic between Milan, Denali, and Asher. We have met both Asher and Milan in earlier books, and I found Milan, in particular, to be such an interesting character. He is definitely the hardest man of the three of them, and has kept himself at a distance from his partners for so many years that he has trouble even considering more for himself. These guys start off crazy hot for each other, and at first, it is Asher who feels a bit of the odd man out seeing the connection between Denali and Milan. But Asher and Denali are so much more open than Milan that they come to recognize and accept their feelings much sooner, and it takes more time for Milan to figure out and accept for himself that the three are meant to be together.
This may be my dislike of most kink, especially D/s where there is a lot of hurt/comfort, but I really felt like Nora forced Milan, Asher and Denali into relationship. Yes, it was alluded to the fact that Asher and Milan knew each other previously, but poor Denali is kind of shoe horned in there not making it very believable. Especially when they stated multiple times there would be issues if people found out about Milan and Denali.
I didn't catch the setup for the next book's couple. Did that blow right by me? And what about poor Kennedy? Denali was supposed to be his friend, but when he enters into the threescore, he just drops him?
I'm still committed to seeing the series through as the first three books have me officially hooked, but this one was not one of my favorites and I am hoping that Nora rebounds with book 5.
Hot and emotional. Not the most believable one (the entire series is not) but I was engaged from start to finish and the triad and their dynamics worked for me. Same as in book 3 there were chapters from previous books MCs perspective. It was good for investigation plotline and I enjoyed glimpses into their happy love loves.
3.5 stars rounded down. Let me get my thoughts together...
Honestly, this book is hard to rate. I started this series (with book 1, and read in order) a few days ago, not realizing that each book would end with an HFN (maybe - this book actually ended with “to be continued” - WTF?!) and a lot of unanswered questions. I have since found out that this series is planned to be 7 books in total but release dates are not available for the remaining 3 books. Looking back, I wish that I wouldn’t have started the series until at least the next book was released because this book’s ending just ticked me off and I’m afraid of the trope in next book being something that I don’t like reading (more on this later).
Written in third person POV, which was hard to understand sometimes with this book especially given the poly relationship. Truly, the next book needs to be in at least dual first person POV because the pronouns are confusing given that everyone is a “he” - seriously, there are maybe two women who show up a couple of times. Lots of M/m, M/M, M/m/m sexy times, some better written than others. This author tends to focus on some details that I don’t need or want. But to each their own.
I didn’t have an issue with the poly relationship or even with the D/s kink but I think that the author should be aware that she’s losing readers with each subsequent book. Book 1 was two guys of similar ages and experience (little fetish that I would have preferred if it was left out or not the focus). Book 2 had a 10+ year age difference but the experience level between the two was the bigger gap. Book 3 was again two guys of similar age but one was “newly pansexual” with no experience with men and the other had a “kink” that was unusual but not explored within that book (he had another “kink” that was explored but not unusual). This book had 3 guys, approximately 15-20 years age difference between oldest and youngest with the other about right in the middle and introduced more D/S/s kink. Each book is getting further from the type of relationship in the first book. THIS IS A PROBLEM IN A SERIES WITH AN ONGOING SUSPENSEFUL STORYLINE.
None of the books are standalones and a couple had HFNs while others, including this one, just abruptly ended. I’m now reading the books to find out why/how all of the “big events” occurred and the romance aspect is secondary. The further the author gets from conventional (there is probably a better word but I can’t think of it - less extreme or fringe?) tropes, the more readers she will lose. My fear is that the next book (or the one after, depending who the MCs are) will be a Daddy Dom book which I do not enjoy and I may not get through it. I understand that sometimes the story takes the author in unexpected directions but there are certain tropes that I avoid and I would never start a series with an ongoing plot if the synopsis for one of the books included something that I know I couldn’t get through.
I think that this book would have been improved if Denali was not included as part of the primary relationship. As a character, I liked him - he knew what he liked and wanted even if he had very little experience in the actual BDSM world. Asher and Milan were good together and had had encounters before so there was a level of comfort between the two that could grow into more. While it could be argued that he had more emotional maturity, Denali’s position in the White House and lack of BDSM experience did not make him a good fit for a seasoned Dom like Milan.
There was another reviewer that felt that there should have been a trigger warning for breath play. There is a scene with breath play that occurs early in the book and without a prior discussion so you don’t see it coming. From a RACK perspective, not cool. But as mentioned above, Milan and Asher have prior D/s experience together so I wasn’t bothered by the lack of discussion because Asher did give consent at the beginning to submit and Milan is an experienced Dom.
I started this review as 4 stars, then 3.5 stars rounded up but I’m ending it as 3.5 stars rounded down. The direction the author is taking with regards to the romance aspect as well as the abrupt end to this book made me change my mind.
Please read the blurb before starting this story. It is not a standalone, these stories need to be read in order. They all also end in cliffhangers, which is frustrating, but it’s a good story. There are also more trigger points in this story. They are still dealing with the aftermath of the bombing and assassinations as well as murders and attempted murders in this one. There are moments of PTSD when memories of another tragic event happens and it’s an emotional story. All of these stories are emotional. They pull things out of you, you wouldn’t believe. The rage, the hurt, the laughter, the tears, it’s all there. You’re pulling for the main characters to make it through and find what all they need but seeing what they are dealing with is one of the hardest things to read. And although this story is mainly centered around Asher, Milan and Denali and their blooming relationship, it’s so much more than that. So much more. Things are starting to fall into place about everything from book 1, but it’s not over. Secrets are revealed that shouldn’t be, everyone is at a loss about how to handle some things, and all everyone feels is lost. But what I love about this story is no one gives up. They refuse. As heartbroken as they may feel, as betrayed or anything else, they refuse to give in to. They take small times to grieve or whatever they need, but they push and keep pushing forward because it doesn’t matter what it takes, they are going to find out what started this whole mess, who and why and they are going to make them pay. They are going to find the justice they seek, no matter what. And I love that resilience. I had a hard time with Milan at first because his aloofness and how he acts all cocky and stuff. In and out of the bedroom. But Denali had me from the start. And I love how Denali sees things that no one else has. Even those who have known him for years and years. Like Asher. Denali even made Asher realize things about himself. And Denali definitely has a submissive servant’s heart. And it’s as big as the sun. He wants to make everyone so happy. Whether it’s in his job or in the bedroom. He wants to know that he’s made a difference. And I love it. I love how he brings happiness wherever he goes and how his soul just manages to heal even the toughest of hearts. He is definitely my favorite in this story. Even the way he handled Kenn, it was everything that was needed. He just seems to know what is needed and when and I love that that’s all he needs to make him so happy. Someone who gets him and loves him for the way he is. This has been such a good series. It’s not over. They still haven’t found the people responsible for everything that’s happened. The pieces are coming together, but they aren’t all there yet. So if you have an issue with cliffhangers, you might want to wait until they are all out. But you definitely need to read them in order.
Okay, maybe 2 stars is a little harsh, but I really didn't like this book and it's definitely my least favorite of the series.
I didn't connect with the characters at all. I feel like I barely know ANY of them. The way they get together at first felt really forced and after that it's just ther three of them fucking, more investigation, the three of them fucking again, more investigation, rinse and repeat until they apparently all love each other, even though I feel like they barely talked to each other. I didn't feel any romantic feelings between these 3. To me it felt like they were just attracted to each other and that's it.
The pace of this story was also really weird and the fact that they spend a majority of the story holed up in Camp David didn't really help. It felt like they were just going around in circles in the second half of the book.
Another thing that os purely based on my own tastes: I enjoy reading about BDSM relationships in books, but I'm really not into sadism and pain play, so I couldn't really enjoy that part of the story either. The book also just... ended at a weird place after Milan admitted his feelings for Asher and Denali and it didn't make me feel anything, because I didn't think these 3 even knew each other well enough.
So, meh, not for me, but I'm excited to continue on in the series.
Plot: 4.5 stars -- the mystery aspects are still outstanding, and I raced to the end to see what would happen. I'm bummed that it's still not resolved, and I'm hoping the next book will be the final in the series.
Main Characters: 3 stars -- again, I enjoyed the previous characters (well, the ones I already liked), but I didn't really care that much about Milan or Denali. Asher seemed intriguing, but he didn't get enough page time to get to know him much.
Smut Level :ugh -- way, way too much for me. I essentially skipped over every single sex scene (and there were a lot of them).
Romance: 1.5 stars -- barely there; I know the characters used the word 'love,' but from what we were *shown*, it's really just sex games.
World/Setting: 4 stars -- I like this world still.
Writing Style: 2 stars -- too much sex. The balance felt way off in this book, and the plot barely moved along outside the bedroom. Plus, tons of telling still.
Overall: 3 stars (good thing the mystery plot is so solid)
Note: I will be reading the next book, but I hope it's more focused on the actual plot.
January 2024 I am still impressed with the building of the relationship, although I would have loved to see a bit more development between Asher and Milan Denali is definitely at the center ... although we see more of the throughout the series, so that need is satisfied later on
First review wow .. I really liked the all the books in this series ... maybe the first the most till now but this one could be my favorite. the relationship building is very well done and I loved how these three find their way to each other. Milan is very complex and has a lot of emotional growth to do ... while Denali shows his strength. all three together are perfect.
can`T wait for the next book ... I really want to see how this develops. would not mind another book with these three or to see more about the mystery another one with these three and Coulson and Seth. but I suspect the next one will be about the presidents son and his teacher ... also an interesting pair, especially as I assume that the teacher has hidden depth
Serve, the fourth book in Nora Phoenix's White House Men is another fabulous political romance. And leave it to Nora to gift us with another of her sexy menage/poly romances! Ohhh, can't get enough of these beauties!
Milan, Asher, and Delani. 'Nuf said. Three men who all crave kink and have been denying themselves due to their jobs.
Asher and Milan have hooked up before, but they now find themselves hooking up again. They aren't perfect for each other though, as they've both dominant, so it's only circumstances that have them together.
And then there's Delani, who craves to serve. And for him, serving two men is better than one.
There's a slew of emotions going on in this tale. Milan is suffering after a tragedy. As a tough Dom, we get to see his sensitive side, as he needs the other two men to help him heal. I love the way the author carries this out. There's grief, healing, and plenty of sexual exploration. I love it all.
I love Ken, the president's son, and his relationship with Delani. The two grow closer together, and their conversations are great.
The BDSM scenes are hot, with different pairings as they're figuring everything out. Delani needs to learn how to be a sub, despite his natural tendencies, and Asher is there to teach him. Milan meanwhile is the sadist in the group. The chemistry between the men is awesome and the scenes between them are sizzling. The author certainly doesn't disappoint. Both the sex scenes and the emotions during them are wonderful.
And then there's the on going political issues. They continue to be fascinating and absolutely riveting. What a ride! Danger, murder, suspense, and political intrigue. In this book we get one step closer to learning who's behind everything. The author has created a fantastic, messy and tangled story, and I can't get enough of it.
Overall, Serve is a riveting continuation of this White House Men series. Nora Phoenix delights with this mix of sex, romance, and mystery. I couldn't put it down.
Boy am I just in love with this series! After I finished the first book I felt like I had binge watched a TV show on Netflix that had me on the edge of my seat. Well I just finished season 4 and I'm still all in and still riveted to my seat. These characters, the plot lines, the romance...it just has it all! In book 4 we get Milan, Asher and Denali's story and boy is Milan a tough one. Walls so high around his heart he doesn't want to let anyone in. He and Asher have known each other for years but reconnect for a quick hook-up and then events occur to keep them close. Denali, an adorable and sweet young man that is longing to explore his submissive side wiggles his way into both Milan and Asher's bed, minds and eventually hearts. Their dynamic was so incredibly well done, their time in the bedroom was scorching hot and pure fire (some very erotic d/s scenes), and the way both Asher and Denali worked to break down Milan's walls and help him feel again was just wonderful! While all this was happening, the mystery continues in the White House as more conspiracies are discovered, more secrets come out, and more people get hurt by everything going on. I'm so invested in the drama and cannot wait until everything unfolds. There were a few gasp out loud shocking twists in this one! If you are looking for an ongoing series with deep emotional connections, an intriguing and complex plot, and amazing romance--you've got to read the White House Men! I cannot wait to see who book 5 is about!
I'm still digging this series! All the characters somehow tied to the White House make for an interesting setup and the potential for drama and action is endless...
So, what I loved about this book: the character dynamics of the three MCs. They all had a unique way of telling their story, different character traits and needs and they worked really well together. I cold totally feel it. And I loved that aspect of being too close to see the obvious about yourself when it's perfectly clear to anyone watching from the outside.
What I'm sort of wavering back and forth about is the ongoing suspense plot. I like that there is action and continuation throughout the series. But somehow the details of this plot element don't fully hold my attention. There are long stretches in which there is no new development, about half of the MCs throughout the series aren't even directly involved in the investigation, progress is agonizingly slow and the backstory is complex enough that I tend to forget about the details between books. There is at least one major new ... let's call it 'incident' ... in each book, but it feels more random than inevitable and more like the bad guys are winning than anything actually getting solved. I would like to at least see some partial wins here and there.
Anyway, the romance part is always great and not gonna lie, that's what I'm here for first and formost. So, obviously, still looking forward to the next book!
John Solo Omg you are killing me right now!!!! I've spent soo much money on audiobooks just to hear your voice!! What is their IG??? 😭😭🎧🎧 Please 👀👀🏃💨
Omg.. Denali..
You Disgusting, Delectable, Delicious, Dirty, little boy you!!!!!! ❤❤❤❤ Not going to lie I almost said "fuk the plot". I just want to listen to and about Denali!!!! Lordt boy!!! First off Nora Phoenix "kudos to you!" I loved how you didn't give Denali a super hard body with 72 pack abs. I literally could picture "Little boy Blue" in my mind and I LOVED IT!!! ESPECIALLY the Bubble butt!!. 🍑🍑🍑. The submissiveness that he had in his voice (J/S) was just mouth watering. I want to keep him in my purse and carry him around with me ❤❤❤.
I loved Asher and Milan the Alpha dom and switch role ive never seen before but i did love it alot!!!! I AM actually following the plot believe it or not... I hope Del (pres) will be ok.
Denali is such a sweet boy. But, I also think that sometimes he's the most mature one in the relationship, even though Asher and Milan are both older than him. Denali knows himself and he values himself, and he has no problem at all with setting boundaries that are good for him.
I get Milan and where he is coming from. He's very Dom-ly, and it totally affects him all the time. Plus, he's worried about his family. I think that he's a very good, caring man, he just has to get out of his own way sometimes.
Asher is really good too. I like that he stands up to Milan at times. He's not going to let Milan run him over.
I really liked this book, but my heavens Milan is a piece of work! I would say he’s a lovable piece of work, but I would be lying. I loved Asher and Denali. Them together was beautiful. I even liked when Milan was in the mix, but I just couldn’t connect with him.
Devastation occurs in the White House and I want to know like yesterday who caused it??? It was awesome to get some POVs from previous characters. While the books main romantic focus was Asher, Denali, and Milan, the series plot sprinkled in the rest of the crew and further fostered the found family vibes that this series exudes.
This I was not expecting. We saw Milani eying up Denali in the last book but I didn't realize he would become an MC and this would be a menage. This one made me weepy, of course, and we still don't have a solution or conclusion to the bombings but we're getting there. That said, the sexy times between these three was smoking hot. Must read the next one ASAP.
This book is kinky! I didn't really mind except that Denali was so young and really didn't have experience. That said, I do feel they worked well together as a threesome. I'm really enjoying the suspense and I'm looking forward to the next book.
