Only A Savage Could Love Me

Rate this book
After a three-year bid in the pen, Chicago-native, Syair Gibson, is finally a free man. Freshly re-entering the free world, his life as he once knew it is in shambles. Upon his return home, Syair discovers that his father, Malachi Rivera—the ringleader of an organized crime mob and notorious drug lord from the Port of Miami—has been murdered. With an extended invitation from his late father's wife, Syair sets out for Miami. When he arrives in the 305, he meets the mesmerizing, Indigo Martin. Just when things begin to look up for the young hustler, he finds himself spiraling down a whirlpool of trouble that leaves him to question exactly what he’s gotten himself into. After a girls night gone wild, twenty-four-year-old, Indigo Martin, finds herself in the arms of a stranger, leading to a night to remember that she so desperately wishes to forget. Unable to escape the guilt of treachery, she convinces herself that the probability of them crossing paths again was slim to none. However, she is sadly mistaken when she uncovers that her new neighbor is the same man that has plagued her dreams every night since their initial encounter. When these two sexy individuals cross paths a second time, sparks are sure to fly, and drama is sure to follow. Find out what happens when the savage from Chicago becomes the guy next door.

Great Read

This book was so good from beginning to end. Held my attention and I couldn't put it down. Enjoyed the storyline and these characters. I really liked Syair and Indigo chemistry together. Rodney, wasn't nothing but a abusive controller. Rich and September got exactly what they deserved for being two snakes. Only drawback was that ending, too many unanswered questions lingering around...what happened between Syair and Indigo...did he really leave, or did she go to Chicago...What happened?? Overall, a good read and good job Daijah Shine.

Good read

Syair came home and found love and money. His father I wish we could've had a little background on him. Rico smh. Indigo almost made me jump through the book a few times. Ice I'm glad he came around. Overall good read

Snake

Like father like son. You can never trust nobody when it comes to money. Rich was a strait snake. How could you be so dirty to your right hand like that ? I'm so glad that he got what was coming to his dirty butt.

Hmmmmm

This is my first time trying this author. The book was pretty good. I don’t know what happened at the end. Is it over or will there be a part two. Each chapter started off in error. I believe it was how the book downloaded. The story started off jumping. It was fast paced but decent. Great job!!

Five star rating

This book was EVERYTHING from beginning to the end. Rodney and Ester were trash. Rico and Stephanie were even worse. I have a lot of unanswered questions. I really am hoping there’s a part 2 in the works!!
