This could have been a good book. However, there are many pointless repetitions of the same information, as if this were an American daytime TV series trying to fill time. There is at least one error (the UK didn't 'move away from the Euro after Brexit'). And, just generally, it wasn't tonally consistent. It neither read like an introductory guide for someone new to the subject or an academic guide full of useful references and studied links to current theory on conspiracies. It read more like an introductory guide that occasionally tried (and failed) to be more scholarly. I don't know what would compel someone to write on a subject without doing sufficient research first. They obviously did some. Maybe they got bored? Anyway, I learnt a little bit about Q drops and the various chatrooms that share misinformation, but a lot of the most common events in the media I already knew about (PizzaGate, etc.) and it didn't really have much to add. Further, the repetitions of information get really annoying. Also, if you listen the audiobook version, the narrator can't pronounce David Icke, hegemony, and many other fairly basic words. Kind of embarrassing really.
Book is ridiculous and even more ridiculous are those who gave it a review saying this book was “objective”. The last thing this book is, is objective. It’s extreme leftist bias. A book which tries to expose “QAnon” (which never even existed, Q existed) as basically a group as dangerous as David Koresh & his extremists followers. The way this book narrates whole thing is the way the leftist media portrayed the whole thing. “Trump is dangerous, Trump has dangerous supporters!”. Author doesn’t even understand how social media works, but hey, lots don’t. If you believe what this book says, why don’t you question things like “why couldn’t anyone find this Mr. Q?” (or group of people who were Q). “How come they could only find followers of Q?”. Haha. Simple answer. Nothing in social media is randomly viral. Absolutely nothing is just like no news outlet whatsoever is simply reporting events as they occur without a bias agenda or can any random person simply be the new news instead of the official outlets!. All social media outlets have algorithms set up to stop absolutely all nobodies!. If your account gets too many likes, too many views, too many followers, it automatically stops working, it’s automatically suspended. You aren’t allowed to freely succeed in platforms they own. Social media is extremely limited for the average person. They are not platforms designed for “hey, anyone out there, get as big as you want!”. Not how it works but if something they don’t approve of suddenly gets massively big inside their platforms, be certain, an insider is behind it and therefore Q can only be explained as intelligence agencies at war!. Q was obviously a Psyop meant for the masses but which was going against the daily, accepted psyops we get from the “official news”; but Q was spreading virally inside social media without triggering the algorithms which are supposed to stop anyone who isn’t an insider in the social media platforms. No one can get away with something like that and for so long too unless they have special security clearances which are even above the ones of those who run the social media platforms. My guess is that Q came out of the NSA because it was most likely simply giving hell to the CIA and their official narrative. Q was obviously superior in code but inferior in context. CIA kind of got to see the NSA could out do them with code only even if the CIA is superior at narrative brainwashing. Code is capable to brainwash too!. People themselves will invent the narrative!. That’s my personal theory of whole thing. It was the intelligence agencies at war!. Lol.
The most infuriatingly repetitive book I have ever read. Would be quite interesting as an essay or pamphlet maybe but literally repeating the same information over and over and over; the same anecdotes again and again almost verbatim. Like being trapped in a time loop
Informative yet very repetitive. Helps give you information about the conspiracies and how people's lives become a study in brainwashing and cult like.
