I was born and raised in North Carolina. I've been working on the Riddle universe since November of 2001, and just recently finished the first book in the trilogy.

A lot of what inspired me didn't come until after college. Even though I grew up in North Carolina, the setting of the book wasn't my home until much later. Thanks to my senior history paper, I was inspired to create a background element for the story that would add some history to the fictional town of Salt's Creek.

I'm currently working on the sequel to Riddle, and I'm pretty excited with the direction the story has taken.

I'm currently working on this book! My goal is to have it out this summer, but we'll certainly have to see how things go. Right now, I'm in the "big plot edits" stage and I'll be working at that and making sure the story is solid before the fine-tuning. Also, I'll be changing the cover; the one you see is just the temporary placeholder for one that will be in keeping with the design of Riddle's cover.

Thanks for reading!

Update: I'm making good progress on Compass! I'm working on what I believe to be the final draft, and I hope to have it out this summer. I'm pretty optimistic. This book hasn't been easy, but it really is coming to a place where I feel good about releasing it to readers. Yay!

It’s okay, the first book really got my attention but I just felt like I ended this book with more questions than answers
