When she is given the lead detective role on the case of the missing mayor, she is justifiably excited. As she investigates, she comes across a puzzling inconsistency involving one Lucius Bedeau. From the first time she meets him, she is drawn to him. As they get to know each other, Lucius tells her an unbelievable story; however, she knows it’s true as she can sense lies. He tells her she is his promised mate and that it is her choice in being with him. Will she choose him . . . after all he said it “if it takes forever, I’ll wait forever.”

Lucius is supposed to turn away the detective from a case so she doesn't figure out the Brethren connection. It turns out Cindy is his promised mate! This was another amazing story in the series that's gets better and better! The description makes you feel like your watching a show, and the relationship build up and end is very sweet!

I have not tired of this series yet. Each story has been a beautiful one. I've enjoyed reading each of the brethren's journeys. Looking forward to the next.

Another great addition to the series.

This being book five in the series, those that have read and enjoyed books 1-4 will know that the Brethren in the title will find his promised mate but there will also be a back story of intrigue and deception in the evil background.

Because we already know that Lucius is destined to meet his mate, the background story in this novel is deeper and more complicated than the previous offerings. This, more than the others, could easily be read as a standalone and if it is, the reader would surely go back to number one and read through the others.

My enjoyment of this series is forcing me to go on to the next volume. 5* again, easily.

Another fabulous read

I love these characters so much. If I say what I loved the most about this one, I would be giving spoilers. Definitely recommend this. I’ve been eager for Jed’s story the most so I’m super excited that it’s next. This is a perfect series for vampire lovers, true mate lovers, etc.

'Lucius, Sundown Motorcycle Club' is another fine example of bad boy exterior hiding heart of gold main characters. We follow The Brethren on another biker quest to where the rubber meets the road against an ancient enemy. As romance between Lucius and Cindy blossoms, they become more than lovers, growing into partners in this honorable battle. A really good read. Buy it! Love it!

It just gets better!
With the disappearance of a mayor, one detective determined to uncover the truth, and one vampire who is on a mission to deter the officer from the truth, Lucius and Cindy’s story makes for one gripping read from the beginning to the end. The author does an amazing job at creating well-developed characters and Lucius and Cindy are two very strong characters.
And just like the rest of the series, we have the rest of the brethren along with their fated mates, and a storyline that keeps you engrossed throughout.
Lucius is the 5th book in this brilliant vampire romance series that I have read and just like the others I enjoyed it immensely. Highly recommended!
