Revisiting Scripture: God, Sin & Salvation

Rate this book
Continuing the close look at what the text of Scripture actually says, this book first looks at the nature of God, and how "God is love" fits with 1 Corinthians 13. After a quick overview of the sin nature and how it differs from individual sins, this book goes on to salvation...something of great simplicity and great complexity at the same time. Along with presenting many of the relevant Scripture passages, it summarizes the different models for the atonement and how it could explain the seemingly different pictures of God in the Old and New Testaments.
