Marly, Sai, and Isla are headed home from Summer Island with Stella when they find out from the boat captain that their flight home has been delayed. He also has some things to give them in exchange for the spy glass that Mr. Summerling's last message told them to give him. It seems there is one last set of puzzles for the Treasure Troop before they fly home. But what could it be?

A very sweet and satisfactory conclusion to this series. The Treasure Troop get introduced to several new codes to puzzle out (I hadn't ever heard of one of them), and the treasure they find is indeed fantastic. I like the way these kids know their strengths and weaknesses and rely on each other to solve things together. They all have a part to play. The very last chapter also sees Marly a year in the future getting to finally reap a little of the benefits of her eye patch wearing, which will encourage kids who also have lazy eye. This is a great little series for code and puzzle fans who are just moving into the middle grades.

These books are so fun! This book picks up directly where the 3rd ends and we get to see the final treasure hunt. Again the kids have to figure out unique codes, etc. to find the final treasure and when they do its so satisfying. I love Harry P Summerling and love the found family/friendship between Sai, Marly and Isla. I would highly recommend this series!
