Um. I like a lot of books in this series, but I don't understand this one. What caused the turnaround? I guess seeing how great the results are going to be? Ok. But then what about the cover, which refers to a fable about futility??

The Fun of Hard Work

This book is written by another hard worker, Mary Nhin. She has written a book that is engaging and the illustrations are enticing. I highly recommend this book and this series.
Hard Working ninja was not always hard working. He use to not like working at all. Unplugged ninja needed his help. He said no, it sounded like to much work. Who else needed help? Would you have helped Patient ninja? You get to read/listen to find out what Hard Working ninja does. Wow!!

Hard Working Ninja learns how it feels after working hard to do something he didn't want to do in the first place. With the help of his friends, this ninja understands the meaning of feeling happy with a sense of accomplishment after putting the effort in to complete a time-consuming job. Another great addition to the series!

Nhin models how hard work can be fun and useful. Hard-Working Ninja avoided work and turned down helping friends because he didn't want to to things. Then is dad asked for help painting their fence. He unwillingly agreed but discovered how much fun it was to work on and complete a project. His friends joined him and all discovered they could enjoy being together even when they were working.

Hard work pays off

Great book about building character and a hard work ethic. Not many books talk about why we need to work hard and this simple story discusses it in a way a child can understand. Cute illustrations.

We read this book on KU. I am happy that it is available there. The story is short but helps build good characteristics. I would personally not buy a physical copy, but I believe it is a good resource if you are involved in many kids lives. It is a good classroom book.
