A leading Yale psycholinguist separates myth from fact in the first comprehensive account of the psychological, linguistic, educational, and social aspects of bilingualism.
This book reviews all of the research in issues of bilingualism. Kenji is very careful not to reach any conclusions without complete support of the research. He is very careful and thorough, which is both appreciated and sometimes infuriating. At the end of the book, though, he is willing to make some (qualified) judgments regarding issues of bilingual education, and comes out with his personal opinion.
