For a free double book on amazon it is definitely worth a read. Timothy Collins definitely knows a thing or two about home baking, sourdough and using a Bread Machine.
However, this loses stars; one for the repetitive nature of the sourdough book. The author repeats himself several times, and the grammar in places made reading the book quite difficult; I definitely had to re-read several passages again. The other lost star is due to the fact that the author Timothy highlights the importance of using weight to measure for recipes, (this is owing to the issue with volume and the altering levels of ingredients)however, several of the recipes at the end of the Sourdough book, and all of the recipes for the Bread Machine book uses cups, as a Brit it makes it very difficult to use these recipes, no matter how good they look.
Overall, a great set of two books - and definitely want to buy a large glass jar to try and make my own sourdough starter.
